Chapter 318: 317 Dream
At that mont, Shane felt as if he saw a dream.
It was a very ancient dream.
In the dream, the world was not as it is now, with heavens, earth, and nature.
No.
Rather, back then, it seed as though the world had not yet been born, and what existed there was nothingness, darkness.
That void was boundless.
That darkness was endless.
As if it were a universe without any celestial bodies or starlight, there was nothing, and nothing existed, not even the concept of space and ti had appeared yet.
Therefore, it was truly the aning of ————”nothingness”.
However, within that “nothingness”, two sources of light suddenly appeared.
That was…
“A little girl…?”
Yes.
It was indeed two little girls that appeared in this “nothingness”.
Their features were exquisitely carved, exceptionally lovely, seeming very tender and yet possessed an incredible beauty.
Their eyes were tightly shut, as if in deep sleep, much like infants nestled in a mother’s womb, waiting to be showered with endless affection.
The difference was that one held shoulder-length silver-white snow hair, and the other, shoulder-length glossy black hair. Underneath the occasionally quivering eyelids, one seed to possess a pair of azure eyes, and the other a pair of crimson eyes; one’s eye color was an incomparable blue, and the other’s as red as gemstones, adorning those petite faces, enchanting anyone who looked upon them.
In their arms, they each cradled a treasure jade that resembled a celestial body, one blue and one red, shining with captivating hues, as if power flowed within them.
Such a pair of little girls wandered around in this “nothingness” like identical twin sisters from the sa egg, floating and even moving upside down in circles, an enchanting sight to behold.
Until the silver-haired girl, resembling a goddess, was the first to awaken.
Though her fully opened azure eyes were lively, they seed to lack much emotion.
She looked around and finally gazed upon the black-haired girl floating beside her.
For a mont, emotions seed to flicker in her eyes, but they quickly disappeared.
In the ti that followed, the silver-haired girl continually watched the black-haired girl.
But the black-haired girl never opened her eyes and remained in silent deep sleep.
Watching this scene, Shane didn’t know why but suddenly felt an empathy with the silver-haired girl.
He seed to feel the silver-haired girl’s heart, experiencing her emotions at that mont.
————”Loneliness”.
————”Solitude”.
These emotions flowed into Shane’s heart like a surging river.
This caused Shane to also feel pain, to beco agitated.
“How long must this loneliness last?”
“How long must this solitude last?”
Such thoughts continuously erged in Shane’s mind, causing him discomfort, causing him profound pain.
And this was the heart of the silver-haired girl.
In that world where there was nothing, the silver-haired girl could only wait for the black-haired girl to awake to dispel this loneliness, this solitude.
But the black-haired girl seed unwilling to wake as if reluctant, continuing to sleep on and on…
Finally, the silver-haired girl gave up.
For the first ti, she diverted her gaze to the treasure jade in her arms that resembled a celestial body.
Subsequently, the jade burst into dazzling light.
And at that mont, amidst the “nothingness” where there was nothing, a piece of blue heaven and earth took shape, transforming into a celestial body similar to the one held by the silver-haired girl, albeit countless tis larger, and settled within this “nothingness”.
The silver-haired girl then turned around, carrying the treasure jade with her, and flew towards the heaven and earth she had created.
Unaware, as she left, the eyelids of the black-haired girl quivered, and she finally opened her eyes.
Those ruby-like eyes held the sa emotions as the silver-haired girl.
Loneliness and solitude.
The dream proceeded up to here.
What happened afterward, Shane did not see, and the dream did not replay it.
Shane only knew that it was because of that missed opportunity that the world’s future beca fixed.
This world, nad Omni Potanssen, is the way it is now because of that missed opportunity.
…
“Drip…”
When a sound like a water droplet falling appeared, Shane realized that he had returned to that sea of flowers.
He was half-kneeling in front of the Goddess in deep sleep, his hand was still resting on her face, unchanged from the mont his head reeled with dizziness.
But now, Shane’s face was wet.
Yes.
The water droplets were the tears that fell from Shane’s face.
“Huh…”
Shane hastily exhaled, wiping the tear stains from his face.
But even so, that unbearable feeling of loneliness and solitude still lingered in his heart, making him feel extrely uncomfortable.
“This dreadful sense of loneliness and solitude couldn’t possibly have been brewed in just a day or two, could it?”
Shane could feel that these emotions, undoubtedly, couldn’t have manifested without “thousands” of years as a unit of ti.
And that dream just now…
“Was it your dream?”
Shane looked at the Goddess asleep before him, and his feelings of loneliness and solitude turned into pity.
“Ominis…”
Shane called out the Goddess’s na for the first ti as if in a delusionary mumble.
Because Shane felt no fear, and no dread toward the Goddess, all that was left was pity and empathy.
Perhaps she was still enduring that sense of loneliness.
Perhaps she was still bearing that sense of solitude.
Even the All-Powerful God could not wipe away this loneliness, could not erase this solitude.
“Ah…”
Shane let out a sigh.
“It’s fate that brought here, so be it.”
Shane then lay down beside the Goddess and decisively stretched out his hand to embrace the stunning Goddess in his arms.
If others saw this scene, they would surely faint.
Such an act, if it were before, even if Shane liked to court death, he wouldn’t dare to do it.
But now, Shane didn’t care about anything.
He had only one thought.
“At least, while I’m still here, let keep you company.”
If doing so could slightly alleviate the loneliness and solitude in the heart of the Goddess, that would be good.
With this thought in mind, Shane embraced this suprely beautiful and unmatched Goddess.
In his heart, there were no impure thoughts, nor any other confused thoughts, just a rare, pure pity for Shane.
He didn’t know how long this embrace lasted.
Unconsciously, Shane’s eyelids began to tremble, and finally, they closed slowly, sinking him into a deep sleep.
What this Shane did not notice was that, in his arms, the eyelids of the Goddess, eternal as the ages, trembled slightly for a mont.
Then they opened slowly…
…
It must be said, Shane slept exceptionally sweetly.
Perhaps it was because he held a beauty in his arms, and this beauty was the All-Powerful Goddess, holding her felt like embracing the entire world, an indescribable sense of fulfillnt and delight.
However, in a daze, Shane seed to have seen another dream.
In that dream, Shane saw a red Treasure Jade, like a celestial body.
“Isn’t that the Treasure Jade in the arms of the little girl with black hair?”
Shane stared at the Red Jade, falling into a daze.
Then, the Red Jade suddenly turned into a streak of light, shooting towards Shane.
Shane didn’t even have the chance to react.
Because that streak of light was too fast.
By the ti Shane ca to his senses, the streak of light had already reached him, even entering his body.
A shocking power exploded inside him in an instant.
…
“Wow!”
In the sea of flowers, Shane suddenly sat up, as if he had had a nightmare, his face full of palpitations.
“Was it… just a dream?”
Shane then wiped the sweat from his forehead, still shaken.
It couldn’t be helped, the power that exploded within him in the dream was just too astounding.
That power felt as if it could destroy the whole world in an instant, so it was natural for Shane to be shocked.
“Right, Ominis…”
Shane rembered what happened before sleep, and hurriedly looked to his embrace.
There, the silvery-haired stunning Goddess was still sleeping quietly.
“She really won’t wake up, huh?”
Shane scratched his cheek.
To be able to sleep like that was truly unparalleled.
“I might as well steal this Goddess and take her ho…”
Shane couldn’t help but have an inappropriate thought, but as soon as he considered the consequences, he quickly dismissed it.
Steal the Supre God and take her ho?
Well, then he would certainly beco the first Hero in the world to be treated as a Demon King.
“The thrill is thrilling, but let’s forget it.”
Shane didn’t dare to take such a huge risk and gently laid the Goddess down in his arms.
“Huh?”
As he did this, Shane suddenly noticed sothing.
The hand of the Goddess, trapped in deep slumber, was actually clutching the front of his shirt.
Her deanor was like a little girl who couldn’t leave her father, or like a young girl clinging to her lover, much more lively than her eternal sleeping form before.
Looking at the Goddess like this, Shane finally started feeling an irresistible itch.
So, Shane took several deep breaths, took another look around as if he had a guilty conscience, ensuring there was no one but himself here, and imdiately lowered his head to fiercely kiss the incredibly smooth cheek of the Goddess in his embrace.
The beast, after all, did what he shouldn’t have done.
But… to have kissed the All-Powerful Goddess?
“I have no regrets in this life.”
Content, Shane released the Goddess in his arms, letting her lie down once more.
It was then that the dizzying sensation ca over him again.
And suddenly, Shane disappeared from the sea of flowers, leaving the Holy Sanctuary.
“Whoosh————!”
The wind, once again, blew across the sea of flowers.
The Supre Goddess lay there still, sleeping quietly.
Only, on that stunningly beautiful face, there seed to be an added sense of serenity.
