Chapter 245: 244 ‘I f*cking… Chapter 245: 244 ‘I f*cking… Shane reluctantly put the magic book of Life Creation Magic back into its place.

Although he was quite interested in this magic, its limitations ant it would never be highly esteed by Shane.

First, to create a Magic Life, one needed to collect so materials that Shane had never even heard of. Combined with the high variability, it was very likely that he might create sothing he didn’t want at all, which dampened so of his enthusiasm.

Second, Shane wanted to focus on mastering Celestial Magic and Grant Magic, and truly lacked the energy to learn other types of magic.

Thus, after wrestling with his decision for a while, Shane put the magic book of Life Creation Magic back where it belonged.

“If I ever have the chance in the future, I’ll co back and learn more about it.”

With that resolution, Shane stopped worrying about Magic Life and continued studying his two main areas of magic.

He studied until almost nightfall, when it was almost dark.

It’s worth ntioning that Lasha, knowing that Shane was studying hard in the Magic Library beneath the Royal Palace, sohow managed to leave for about three minutes and brought back a homade lunch box that she prepared for Shane.

Previously, Shane would spend the entire day in the library without eating lunch, but this ti, the lunch box prepared by Lasha was truly delicious.

Indeed, the cooking made by this formidable maid was explosively good; any chef would probably look like a kid in comparison.

Of course, more than this, Shane was more curious about how the maid managed to prepare a homade lunch box in just three minutes.

It definitely wasn’t prepared beforehand, Shane was sure of it.

Because Lasha only knew of Shane’s extended stays in the library when he was about to enter the Royal Palace.

So, Lasha really did prepare the lunch box in those short three minutes.

As for how she managed to do that… don’t ask, it’s just a skill that maids naturally have.

Hmm, Shane felt his image of maids crumble.

“It’s okay, an omnipotent maid that’s beyond reason isn’t that rare a setting, right?”

Shane didn’t know whether he said this to convince others or to convince himself.

Later, Shane left the library and the Royal Palace, and after finding Lasha (who appeared out of nowhere) in a secluded alley in the West District Noble District, they both returned to the Lazahad family.

Upon returning, Lasha received an extrely warm welco.

“Big Sister!”

“Have you returned!?”

“Please look this way! Big Sister!”

“Big Sister Lasha!”

A horde of maids and servants from the Lazahad family, like fans chasing a celebrity, surged forward and surrounded Lasha, pushing Shane aside.

“I damn well…”

Shane, almost knocked over by the crowd, was stunned for a mont before he managed to suppress the urge to curse loudly.

Instead, Lasha herself, very calmly and magically, walked out of the tightly packed crowd nonchalantly.

“So, Mr. Shane, I will go prepare dinner and get your bath ready. Please go back to your room and rest. You can head to the dining room in exactly thirteen minutes and forty-four seconds, and I will co to fetch you then.”

After leaving such frighteningly precise instructions, Lasha departed, leaving behind a still baffled Shane and just as baffled maids and servants of the Lazahad family.

After a while, the maids and servants rushed out, chasing after Lasha, leaving Shane alone in the chaotic wind.

However, Shane was not completely ignored.

“You look like you’re having quite a bit of fun.”

Ai Yi, ever constant with her cushion, casually strolled up to Shane and spoke tranquilly.

“Which eye of yours saw having fun?”

Shane rolled his eyes and retorted irritably.

“I thought she was taking good care of you.”

Ai Yi glanced in the direction Lasha had left, her tone sowhat complex.

Shane did not notice this.

“Just speaking of taking care, indeed, it was good,” Shane muttered, “It’s just, it was a bit much, it was actually quite scary.”

Ai Yi responded to Shane’s statent like this.

“It’s a relief that there’s no problem now, otherwise, being taken care of by her like that, it wouldn’t just be scary; it would be terrifying.”

This is how Ai Yi spoke.

“Huh?”

Shane was sowhat confused.

But Ai Yi did not explain, and instead, she suddenly changed the subject.

“Speaking of which, haven’t you noticed?” Ai Yi said indifferently, “Last night, those girls around you still haven’t co back.”

Hearing this, Shane was stunned at first, then he quickly realized.

“You an Vivian and the others?”

Ai Yi’s words made Shane finally beco aware of the situation.

That was, neither last night nor this morning had he encountered anyone from Vivian’s Team.

“Haven’t they co back?”

Shane began to feel that sothing was not right.

Although the work of adventurers was irregular and sotis they could indeed be gone for a long ti, if they had really taken on a job that required ti to complete, Vivian would never just completely stop sending any news like this.

It was understandable that they hadn’t co back the day before; it was just one day. But not coming back for two consecutive days was a bit unusual.

Moreover, there were so issues around the Royal Capital lately, and Shane was a bit worried.

Worried that Vivian and the others might have encountered so trouble they couldn’t resolve.

With this thought, Shane felt he could no longer sit still.

“Weren’t you supposed to watch over them?”

Shane reproached Ai Yi.

Ai Yi, however, was unexpectedly indifferent.

“I only agreed to help that girl nad Tielle with so insurmountable troubles when she is alone, I never agreed to look after them during their adventures,” Ai Yi said impassively. “Besides, I’ve already told you, here, I’m only interested in you; I don’t care much about the others.”

This Demon Clan girl had an unexpectedly cold side toward those she was not interested in.

Therefore, as for the tasks entrusted by Shane that Ai Yi agreed to, she would do; but for those Shane did not entrust to her, she was not interested in handling.

“I’ve placed a spell of Magic Power on that girl Tielle,” Ai Yi glanced at Shane and spoke, “She isn’t in any trouble right now, but she seems to be out of the Royal Capital. If you want to find them, I can take you there.”

This was the very reason Ai Yi had co to talk.

So…

“Alright, lead the way.”

Shane nodded without any hesitation.

“Let’s go.”

Ai Yi turned around, ready to lead the way.

But just at that mont, Shane reached out and tousled the girl’s hair.

“Let’s see if you dare again next ti.”

Leaving Ai Yi with a stunned expression, Shane walked out.
