Chapter 123: 122 Crying Out in Loneliness (Third update, plea for subscriptions and Monthly tickets!)
“Magic Tools?”
Hearing Shane’s voice, Beddo’s eyes flashed, his brows furrowed tightly.
“Could they have another ace up their sleeve?”
Beddo’s face turned incredibly dark, and he began to think about retreating.
The unpredictability of Shane, Vivian, and Tielle had already turned what Beddo thought was a surefire operation into one full of surprises. Now, not only had he failed to rescue Killian, but he had also sustained an injury nearly fatal. If the other side had any more tricks up their sleeve, Beddo, despite his resentnt, had no desire to stay here any longer.
After all, there would be plenty of ti in the future; once his wounds were healed, he would surely find an opportunity to return and make everyone pay for today.
...
Especially Shane.
Killian’s betrayal must be related to this man.
Thus, it goes without saying how much Beddo resented Shane; he simply couldn’t let it go unavenged.
Therefore, Beddo was already considering retreat.
But what happened next left Beddo sowhat dumbfounded.
“At last, it’s co to this!”
Mr. Bellen, a Level 68 Knight Captain who had seed useless since the beginning, now seized the opportunity as if he had finally rembered his side’s trump card. While casting a hateful gaze at the mbers of the Old Demon Clan Faction, he pulled out a tattered piece of parchnt.
Not just Bellen, but others hastily took out their own ragged pieces of parchnt and aid them at the mbers of the Old Demon Clan Faction.
“Tielle!”
“I know!”
Seeing this scene, Vivian and Tielle exchanged a glance, then one put away the shield, and the other put away the blade, and they began to retreat.
This developnt made Beddo cautious.
“On guard!”
Beddo imdiately ordered, instructing the Old Demon Clan mbers preparing to chase after Vivian and Tielle to stop in their tracks and be on alert.
Both parties suddenly fell into a strange standoff, glaring angrily at each other in silence, filling the air with a sense of an impending storm.
Until Bellen, unable to restrain himself any longer, raised the “Magic Tool” in his hand.
“⟨I am a pig! A pig with dreams! If you’ve got the guts, co kill ! Co on!⟩”
His loud Chanting echoed throughout the entire camp engulfed in a Sea of Fire.
“Defense!”
The lead mber of the Old Demon Clan under Beddo’s command reacted, shouted in a low voice, and caused all the Old Demon Clan mbers to start Chanting Defensive Magic spells simultaneously. This incited ripples of Magic Power, forming Barriers or magical walls in front of everyone.
This reaction could not be called slow.
However…
“Whoosh——!”
When everyone expected a monuntal clash, there was only a gust of wind blowing by, kicking up clouds of dust.
“Hmm?”
Beddo and the other Old Demon Clan mbers were instantly filled with question marks in their heads.
“Uh…”
Bellen’s face turned red as he felt subtly embarrassed.
Nothing happened at the scene.
Just as Beddo was puzzled, two figures stepped out from behind Bellen.
Those two were Leon and Udilis, who had been protected during the Old Demon Clan Faction’s ambush because they were with Vivian, and thus were not killed.
The two of them had followed Vivian to the scene and had slipped into the crowd, only now revealing themselves.
“Let do it, Mr. Bellen!”
“That’s right! How dare they attack our camp! Let Leon and I make them pay the price!”
With righteous indignation, Leon and Udilis each called out, holding their own “Magic Tools.”
Then…
“⟨If you’re a man, co top !⟩”
“⟨Yaite!⟩”
The two of them shouted loudly and resonantly.
“Defense!”
That Old Demon Clan subordinate issued the order once more, causing the surrounding Old Demon Clan mbers to begin Chanting the Defense series Magic Spell again, activating Defense Magic, intending to block the upcoming attack.
But this ti, again, nothing happened.
“`
“…”
The scene fell into an indescribable silence.
The next second, all the knights and adventurers holding “Magic Tools” shouted out loud.
“〖Oh my God! Grant strength!〗”
“〖I stand with my king! My king’s na is Bill! Tremble, little flowers!〗”
“〖Love is a beam of light! Green enough to scare you!〗”
“〖For the tribe!〗”
“〖Fla Dragon Armor! Transform!〗”
In an instant, it was like a dance of demons, as everyone from the Human Race started to chant “Magic Spells” like this, each shouting louder than the last.
But this loud and spirited yelling resulted only in silence, leaving everyone shouting into loneliness.
Yet, everyone thought they weren’t shouting loud enough, so they yelled angrily, one after another, until their faces turned red and their necks thickened.
“Phew!”
Shane burst out laughing.
anwhile, mbers of the Old Demon Clan Faction looked at each other in confusion before all turning to Beddo.
Beddo’s face was grim, seeming to feel he’d been played, and the fire in his eyes turned into a tangible killing intent, squashing any thoughts of retreat.
“Kill them all! Show no rcy until they’re all dead!”
Beddo was completely overwheld by fury.
At this point, the mbers of the Old Demon Clan no longer hesitated and burst forth again, charging forward.
Vivian was about to rush out to block them but was held back by Shane.
Shane watched the Old Demon Clan Faction mbers rush over with a bellyful of rage, then glanced at Beddo, whose mind was clouded by fury, and the corner of his mouth turned up.
“Now it’s really ti.”
Under Shane’s watchful gaze, the attackers from the Old Demon Clan arrived.
Leon and Udilis, who had just stepped forward to make a move, were the first to confront the ruthless executioners.
The two of them suddenly showed terrified expressions and quickly shouted.
“〖If you’re a man, co at !〗”
“〖Yaitte!〗”
“〖If you’re a man, co at !〗”
“〖Yaitte!〗”
Their voices, strained to the utmost, were t with the attackers’ fatal blows.
Seeing that the other side was just bluffing, the mbers of the Old Demon Clan no longer hesitated and attacked straight on.
“〖If you’re a man, co at !〗”
“〖Yaitte!〗”
The voices of Leon and Udilis had now beco screams, or rather, shrieks.
In that instant…
“[Tinder]…”
The true judgnt had finally arrived, albeit belatedly.
“Boom!”
In the thunderous noise of the explosion, a wild fla burst forth from behind Leon and Udilis, like a fiery tide, avoiding Leon and Udilis while engulfing countless mbers of the Old Demon Clan.
“Aaaaahhhhh…!”
The mbers of the Old Demon Clan, completely unprepared, were enveloped by the fierce flas and scorched.
“No!”
Beddo finally showed a terrified expression and cried out.
But this ti, it was Beddo who cried out in loneliness, to no effect.
Had the mbers of the Old Demon Clan been on guard, using Defensive Magic, and spread out from each other, it would have been rather improbable to harvest them all with a single spell.
However, the other side charged straight in unprotected, so close and at such an opportune mont that the outco was naturally total annihilation.
And that was Shane’s goal all along.
To ensure that not a single person from the Old Demon Clan Faction would escape by luck and to prevent Beddo from retreating, Shane had staged this play.
In the end, every single mber of the Old Demon Clan was reduced to char, collapsing to the ground.
