Capítulo 1153: Chapter 1009: “Are You Sure This Counts as a Profit?

Demon Realm, Moon Demon Territory, Supre Castle.

On the top floor of this castle, located in the Central City of the Demon Realm and regarded as the highest by many in the Demon Clan, a figure stood here.

The figure stood against the wind, her luxurious robe billowing and clinging to her form, exquisitely outlining her graceful and alluring figure.

If anyone were here to witness this scene, they would undoubtedly imprint this image within their mind, rembering it at the deepest part of their hearts, and it would surely appear in their dreams every night.

This is a woman of the Demon Clan, embodying beauty, sensuality, and strength, a being that could keep soone awake at night and instill fear in her enemies from the depths of their hearts.

The woman stood here for a long ti, gazing toward the horizon, lost in thought.

Until a lodious voice sounded behind her.

“What are you looking at here again, elder sister?”

Saying this, the person who appeared was none other than Chafne, known as the Enchanting Demoness—one of the six pinnacle mbers of the Demon Sisters, reputed as the most beautiful existence in the Three Realms.

Chafne descended silently from mid-air, glancing at her sister standing against the wind, with a smile capable of charming all beings.

“It’s been over a month now, yet you co here every day to gaze at the sky. No matter how long you stare, the passage to the Human Realm won’t open just like that, you know?”

Chafne teased.

In response, Sera, standing against the wind, did not turn around but let out a chuckle.

No choice.

“Saying I long for the Human Realm, can you say you’re any better?” Sera remarked helplessly, “When we realized the passage was destroyed and we couldn’t return to the Human Realm, you were the most anxious one among us, weren’t you?”

Sera could vaguely rember how anxious her beautiful sister, who always seed indifferent to everything and everyone, was when they discovered they couldn’t return to the Human Realm after it was ravaged by the new Primordial Demon, igniting yet another war.

It was the second ti in Sera’s life seeing her sister, who was otherwise unparalleled in charm and indifference to all, so visibly upset.

The first ti was a thousand years ago when the Demon King passed away.

One can see how rare this situation is.

“Nonsense,” Chafne retorted, her expression a bit unnatural but still with an edge in her tone, “There’s no way I could compare to that Dragon Girl. She was so anxious that just releasing her Magic Power caused several mountain ranges spanning thousands of miles to collapse, didn’t she?”

“It’s understandable,” Sera sighed, hiding her smile, “After all, it’s the first ti in her life she had an opposite gender she cared about, and even got engaged with. How could she not be anxious?”

“…Indeed,” Chafne agreed, her previous smile fading as she muttered softly, lost in her thoughts, “The first ti having an opposite gender to care about. How could she not be anxious?”

This insinuative whisper t with Sera’s aningful gaze.

“Wh… What?”

Chafne was slightly startled, her expression turning unnaturally tense again.

“Nothing,” Sera chuckled, looking at her sister with amusent, “Just marveling at life’s unpredictability. Who would’ve thought that my sister, who never spares a glance for any hero, idolized by nearly everyone in the world, would have such a day as well?”

“What are you saying?” Chafne feigned indifference, “I don’t understand.”

“Better be,” Sera rolled her eyes, “I hope when Little Aiyi questions you, you can maintain such indifference.”

“No way,” Chafne reflexively replied, “With that girl’s oblivious nature, there’s no way she’d ever find out about this.”

As soon as she said it, Chafne regretted it.

Hadn’t she blatantly told her astute elder sister about the secret she had kept hidden all along?

It’s over…

Chafne felt a twinge of anxiety.

Sera naturally saw the unease and nervousness on Chafne’s face, finding it amusing while also feeling a tinge of sentint.

Honestly, even as the eldest among the Demon Sisters, it was Sera’s first ti seeing Chafne emotional changes this frequent and straightforward.

If it were the old Chafne, would she lose her composure so easily?

Unless she truly cared, how could her once aloof sister now seem like a maiden in love?

(I truly wonder what charm that Hero has to win over both my cutest and prettiest sisters.)

But indeed, that Hero is different from others, quite unique.

Having t so many Heroes, even having faced the Mitra who defeated the Demon King, she never had any thoughts beyond hostility.

But with this particular Hero, initially eting him sparked her curiosity, compelling her to investigate him thoroughly.

Because of this, Sera ultimately unearthed much that left her astonished.

Considering this, Sera outwardly said this:

“I can’t ddle in your affairs, but don’t get too playful, making Little Aiyi think you’re trying to steal from her. Otherwise, that girl is sure to fight you to the death.”
