"Lasha?"

Just as Lasha was lost in silence, pondering about Laischa, Shane's sowhat puzzled voice reached her ears.

Only then did Lasha snap out of her thoughts, seeing Shane looking at her with a surprised expression, she promptly suppressed her yearning.

"I'm fine."

Lasha shook her head at Shane, reassuring him.

Shane could only look at Lasha with curiosity but didn't delve deeper.

More than this, he was more concerned about what Lasha initially said.

"You said the Treasure Jade wouldn't do anything to , right?" Shane asked: "Is that also because you sensed sothing?"

"Pretty much." Lasha seed to anticipate Shane's question, replying expressionlessly: "Though the Demon King hasn't been resurrected, it seems the will from its life resides within the Treasure Jade."

With that, Lasha looked at Shane.

"I can vaguely sense it not only doesn't want to harm you but also wants to protect you."

It was precisely because of this that Lasha ntioned the Treasure Jade probably didn't intend to do anything to Shane.

In other words, Shane's worries were unfounded.

"Is that so?"

Shane was still sowhat skeptical, but he wasn't as worried as before.

He was never soone to dwell on sothing for too long.

Even though there were now two things inside him that might be tid bombs, what's done is done, and if a solution can't be found, then there's no need to dwell on it.

"If the Demon King is resurrected, it should call back this Treasure Jade, right?"

Shane contemplated such matters, completely unsure whether he should be pleased or disappointed.

Having the tid bomb removed from his body would be a pleasing thing.

But if it were removed, it would an the Demon King had indeed revived, which was a matter of mixed emotions.

Of course, to so extent, Shane didn't have much resistance to the resurrection of the Demon King.

Even if to the world, that being seed to be the most terrifying existence capable of threatening the world's safety, but in Shane's heart, the image of the lonely, tearful girl seen in his dreams was rather vivid.

Perhaps...

(That being isn't as terrifying as the rumors suggest?)

Though her power could certainly threaten the world itself, threatening all life, whether she herself was a villain, was hard to say.

The only question was why she started a war in the first place, plunging the Divine Race and Demon Clan into prolonged conflict.

(The truth...is it?)

The Goddess's words still echoed in his mind, causing Shane to whisper to himself, until finally choosing to suppress the myriad worries within his heart.

Things had already gone this far; Shane could only take it one step at a ti.

Even if that Goddess was unwilling to intervene in this war, the enemy's whereabouts still unclear, knowing their objective allowed Shane to make preparations.

No, one might say, if the enemy was holding back their advance for the sake of secretly acting to resurrect the Demon King, then this gave Shane a slight advantage.

Looking at the Holy Sword in his possession, emitting rich holy waves, Shane's mood began to shift toward anticipation.

(Before that Danass achieves his goal, I hope I can smoothly complete my transformation and step into the Transcend Level.)

By then, even if sothing really did happen, he'd have enough power to cope.

From this perspective, the longer they drag it out, the more beneficial it is for him as well.

Anyway, Shane's transformation still needs a bit of ti, and if the enemy attacks at such a critical mont in his transcendence, it could leave hidden hazards just like Hero Philip of the seventy-second generation after his transcendence.

Considering this point, Shane's mood relaxed sowhat.

Shane then turned to Lasha, looking at the maid who looked exactly like the Demon Lord Girl in his dreams, contemplating for a mont before speaking up.

"Hey, Lasha." Shane asked: "How do you perceive the Demon King?"

Shane's sudden question left Lasha montarily stunned.

"How do I perceive the Demon King?"

Lasha murmured.

"Exactly." Shane nodded, staring her down: "You are one of the two basic bodies of the Demon King, even initially born as a Magic Life from the Demon King's body, always using the Demon King's body. To you, the Demon King must be a very special existence, right?"

At his words, Lasha fell silent.

Not because she couldn't answer, but she acknowledged Shane's statent.

Thinking it over, indeed.

"...No matter what, that one has an extraordinary connection with and the Lady."

After a mont of silence, Lasha calmly spoke this sentence.

The implication being, that such a deeply connected existence is undoubtedly special.

"What sort of person do you think the Demon King might be then?"

Shane posed a question he was deeply concerned about.

However, in the face of this question, Lasha did not hesitate or appear unsettled as Shane might have imagined, but rather answered straightforwardly.

"This question shouldn't be asked of by the master."

Lasha bluntly stated.

"Shouldn't ask you?"

Shane raised an eyebrow.

"Though I was born as a Magic Life from the Demon King's body, I'm not the Demon King herself, and have only existed for ten years, always being carefully watched by the Divine Race, Demon Clan, and Human Race, never approached by any knowledgeable person, completely lacking channels to understand that existence."

Lasha expressed extrely calmly.

"What I know of the Demon King is no different from what the world knows of the Demon King."

"The Lady might know sothing, but I do not."

"So rather than asking , the master should have soone more suitable to ask."

Lasha's words caused Shane to ponder deeply as well.

On closer inspection, this certainly wasn't unreasonable.

Lasha had only existed for ten years and hadn't interacted with anyone who actually knew the Demon King, so conversing with her about the Demon King wouldn't reveal what kind of person the Demon King is.

Not to ntion Lasha, it's possible even Laischa knows nothing.

After all, though Laischa was a magic life form created a very long ti ago, she was once abandoned and frozen until the Slaughterer Faction found her, restarted her, and only then did she revive into this world.

The experience of such a Laischa is almost indistinguishable from that of Lasha.

Compared to this pair of twin-like master and servant, the Three Great Goddesses and the Six Great Demons have a better understanding of the Demon King.

Especially the Demons.

Shane suddenly rembered previously asking Ai Yi the sa question.

At that ti, Ai Yi's response to the Demon King was sothing Shane had already forgotten.

But judging from the attitude of the Demons when they ntioned the Demon King, it was clear they had always been longing for her, missing her, and holding a worshipful, trust-filled reverence for her.

For those highly individualistic Demons to hold such respect, the Demon King surely wasn't just a terrifying existence of sheer power, right?

Unfortunately, the Demons are trapped in the Demon Realm, unable to contact Shane.

The Three Goddesses of Ti and Space have already gone to the Demon Realm via ti and space travel, but when those three extrely unreliable idiots might complete this important task remains unknown.

However...

"Lidas and the others should know sothing, right?"

Shane mused thoughtfully.

Beside him, Lasha had been staring at Shane for a long ti before suddenly speaking.

"Is the Demon King going to be resurrected?"

Lasha's cold voice unexpectedly posed a question.

"Yes."

Shane, still lost in thought, nodded subconsciously, realizing the mistake a mont later, silently cursing himself.

But, surprisingly, Lasha didn't react intensely.

"So that's how it is."

She rely murmured softly, without any sign of worry or emotion on her face.

"Uh..."

Shane was at a loss for words.

Looking at Shane like this, Lasha's gaze remained calm and unruffled.

"Actually, I had anticipated this would happen." Lasha lowered her eyelids and said, "Knowing that the Treasure Jade was no longer with the Supre God but on the master instead, I felt this event would happen sooner or later."

The Treasure Jade capable of suppressing the Demon King and preventing her resurrection is sothing only the Supre God could control.

Now that the Demon King's Treasure Jade has left the Supre God's restraint, anyone would imdiately think that the Demon King can be resurrected.

Lasha thought so too.

In other words, Lasha had long been ntally prepared for this.

Even to the extent that...

"I will be waiting."

Lasha stated with a calm expression.

"Waiting for that person to co to and reclaim her body."

Leaving these words behind, Lasha turned around and left Shane's room.

Shane opened his mouth, wanting to call her back but ultimately gave up.

It wasn't until now that Shane realized what Lasha had been carrying in her heart all this ti.

Perhaps she had accepted her fate long ago.

Believing that one day, she would return to being a part of that person as the Demon King.

What she would beco then, nobody knew.

She herself included.

"If the Demon King is resurrected, will Lasha die?"

Shane couldn't help but entertain such a thought.

This made Shane, who initially didn't mind the Demon King's resurrection, suddenly feel turmoil again.

If that's the case...

"Should I stop it...?"

Shane began to feel restless.

"Damn it, things are getting more complicated."

Shane scratched his head vigorously.

Without a doubt, this ti, Shane needed to seriously consider it.

Consider how to proceed from here.

...

anwhile, in a corner of the world, a Demon Clan girl standing on the edge of a cliff seed to have sensed sothing and turned her head to look behind her.

"Have they finally co?"

The Demon Clan girl sighed and turned her body around, facing the rear.

There, a figure appeared silently.

"Here I present the most respectful greetings, to our esteed Demon King's Body."

The refined Demon Clan man bowed to the Demon Clan girl, offering the most respectful courtesy as he had spoken.

"You are Danass, aren't you?" The Demon Clan girl glanced at him indifferently and said casually, "You really are an ambitious person, aiming not to start a war, but to revive the Demon King."

"Indeed." Danass didn't hide anything, smiling gently and said, "Have you already guessed my purpose?"

"Just a bit." The Demon Clan girl sarcastically remarked, "During the Royal Capital battle, the Ice Woman Clan mber who possessed my power survived even after suffering a full-force slash from the Kingdom Treasure, wasn't it because you secretly lent a hand?"

"You truly are insightful." Danass's smile didn't waver as he said, "I rely gave what belongs to you a chance to return to your hands."

"And then you can begin reviving the Demon King, right?" The Demon Clan girl's expression remained sarcastic.

Danass didn't reply directly.

He rely chuckled softly and said this.

"In any case, please listen to what I have to say next."

"After hearing it, you can decide whether to cooperate or not."
