"————"
The room was filled with a tranquil stillness, gradually fading away Shane's earlier calls, which seed self-directed.
No one responded to Shane's words addressed to the ceiling, and no reactions were garnered, causing a mild awkwardness.
However, Shane did not show any signs of embarrassnt; instead, he kept gazing at the ceiling, or rather, as if he was looking through it into so distant, unseen space, he spoke again.
"If you heard that, then call over. I have a few questions to ask you."
Shane made his requests known.
Clearly, he intended to implent his previous ideas.
In such circumstances, Shane's words still did not elicit any response or trigger any reaction.
Shane was unfazed, simply waiting quietly, as if he were sensing sothing.
Until a certain mont when Shane felt a stir within and smiled.
"It's coming."
With this murmur, the surrounding space finally began to distort.
Suddenly, the scenery began to change; the space started to twist, the world turned upside down, and Shane felt as though he was thrown into a vortex, experiencing a dizzying sensation akin to being inside a kaleidoscope, twisted and bizarre.
It's unclear how long this lasted.
"It seems a bit longer than usual, doesn't it?"
Shane sensed this, furrowing his brow.
On usual occasions, the mont he was summoned, he would instantly arrive at the temple in the Sealed Land of the Divine World, eting the Goddess summoning him.
But this ti, the ti taken to be summoned seed excessively long.
"What on earth is...?"
Shane felt a hint of suspicion.
But just as this doubt arose, the dizzying sensation finally dissipated.
The space surrounding him transford into a solemn temple.
The atmosphere in the air also changed completely, filled with a sacred feeling.
Shane was finally firmly on the ground, having been summoned from his room to the familiar temple.
Then...
"Suc...success...!"
A voice filled with delight yet fatigued, gasping non-stop, reached Shane's ears.
"Ah!"
However, just as Shane was about to lift his head to look, a small gasp suddenly rang out and then abruptly vanished.
By the ti Shane raised his head to look ahead, the sight before him left him montarily stunned.
In front of Shane, the Goddess stood there, tiless as always.
Her familiar, impeccably beautiful countenance.
Her familiar, alluring physique.
Her familiar, pristine vestnt robe.
Her familiar, holy ambiance.
The Goddess nad "Nien" stood there quietly, gazing at Shane.
Her appearance left Shane dazed for a long, long ti.
There was no helping it.
"You..."
Shane wanted to say sothing but found himself unable to utter a single word.
For so reason, he felt a strange sensation towards the familiar Goddess standing in front of him.
It was clearly the sa face and the sa figure, but the Goddess nad "Nien" seed to possess sothing extra.
Specifically, the other person had an aura of transcendence and a sense of extraordinary existence akin to an extrely noble character.
That aura, that sense of presence, never appeared on Nien before.
Yet, Shane did not feel unfamiliar but rather an unusual feeling, as if he had seen this aura, seen this presence sowhere, causing his mood to be sowhat peculiar.
What was even more peculiar was that the Goddess, who usually greeted Shane with a mischievous semi-smile and amusent, this ti was rely standing there quietly, simply looking at Shane.
Her gaze was as calm as an ancient well.
"————"
Suddenly, a sense of silence pervaded the temple.
Shane and the Goddess stared at each other, one with an uncertain expression and the other completely expressionless, neither speaking, rely exchanging glances.
The situation persisted for an unknown duration.
Anyway, Shane felt increasingly uncomfortable and unnatural, and after a long while, he couldn't help but break the silence.
"Hey, why aren't you saying anything?"
Shane finally broke the silence.
His voice was slightly stiff in trying to relieve the awkwardness, causing the Goddess's eyes to ripple slightly.
But soon, those ripples faded away.
After a mont of silence, the Goddess spoke as well.
"You've taken the crucial step towards achieving transcendence, haven't you?"
The mont she spoke, the Goddess uttered such words.
Her tone was both bland and serene.
Shane was stunned for a mont before he suddenly realized.
"Oh, so you had such a strange reaction because I'm about to transcend?" Shane sighed in relief and complained, "Don't scare like that. Besides, it's nothing to make a fuss about."
If these words got out, Shane would probably be beaten to death, right?
Achieving transcendence is such an important matter, yet to Shane, it's just "nothing to fuss about." That's simply Versailles to the extre.
Shane said this to slightly provoke Nien, a trivial act of revenge.
Who would have thought the Goddess in front of him nodded.
"Indeed, it's nothing to fuss about."
The Goddess said this calmly, as if it were truly a trivial matter, as if this achievent were insignificant, her tone was extrely calm.
Luckily, the Goddess added another sentence.
"Achieving transcendence isn't particularly remarkable, but it is rare for you to reach this step in less than a year since arriving in this world."
The Goddess said this, but still maintained an expressionless face, not looking like she was praising Shane at all.
"Is... is that so?"
Shane was almost unable to react due to her deanor, looking utterly confounded.
The Goddess, acting as if she hadn't noticed anything, continued to speak.
"At least, in the history of all the heroes and throughout all of Omni Potanssen, except for those naturally transcendent beings, you are undoubtedly the most excellent, unique, and powerful one."
As the Goddess spoke, she lowered her eyes slightly.
"After all, you are the successor of That Person, the power of the three supre concepts lies dormant within you. It's impossible for you not to be special, excellent, and powerful."
These words caused a subtle and fleeting change in the face of the previously calm and serene Goddess, a change that even Shane failed to notice.
"What are you even talking about?"
Shane just felt that Nien was acting oddly, not only being cryptic but also behaving unusually, unlike her usual self.
This woman, last ti, made such a scene...
Shane couldn't help but recall the last encounter with Nien.
At that ti, Nien explained so things to him and then, with an alluring deanor, led him aside.
It was during that eting that Shane witnessed the most thrilling sight since arriving in this world.
As Shane began to reminisce about that ti, feeling his spirits stir, he suddenly noticed that the Goddess was staring intently at him.
In an instant, Shane felt as though his inner thoughts were completely seen through by the other party.
This was not surprising.
Previously, Nien had the ability to see through what Shane was thinking, thanks to her nature as the concept of [Hero Summoning], allowing her to call heroes to her side anyti, and see into the world they inhabit, as well as what they hold in their hearts.
In short, having his inner self seen through by Nien was not a surprising occurrence.
But this ti, Shane felt that he was even more thoroughly seen through.
Then, in a matter-of-fact tone, the other party said,
"So, you like that kind of thing?"
With that, the Goddess nodded slightly.
"If that's what you desire, then sure."
As soon as she finished speaking, a radiant glow erupted from the Goddess.
The light quickly vanished.
However, the Goddess within the light had completely transford.
"Oh oh... oh oh oh...!"
Shane widened his eyes as he looked at the being erging from the light, uttering a sound of extre emotion.
Upon closer inspection, the one erging from the light was a girl.
She was a girl who seed unremarkable at first glance, yet upon closer inspection, had strikingly fine features.
The girl wasn't tall or short, and her skin was delicate, yet she had the right proportions, appearing like an unassuming pure beauty—not strikingly beautiful, but undeniably cute.
Her slim figure was clad in a white dress with a red thin jacket on top, wearing a sailor hat and carrying a bag around her waist, dressed very stylishly, complented by her shoulder-length short hair, creating a youthful charm.
Such a girl, compared to the stunningly beautiful Goddess just now, certainly wasn't as eye-catching.
Yet in Shane's eyes, her appearance was more exciting than any Goddess appearing before him.
"Is this character called Kato gumi?"
Having undergone a complete transformation, the Goddess spoke to Shane in an unchanged, indifferent tone.
Though the tone remained indifferent, her voice had changed, as had her language, directly resembling Shane's familiar 'wife' from his past life—Saint Hui.
"So you like won who exist only in fantasy?"
The Goddess, now entirely transford into Saint Hui, neither showed disdain nor contempt, rely voicing her thoughts as if stating a fact.
In an instant, Shane discarded all previously felt discomfort and oddities, becoming wholly exhilarated.
"How can you say like?" Shane exclaid, inexplicably excited, "This is love! Love, do you understand?"
At that mont, Shane seed to transform into one of those obsessed fans from his past life, just brimming with excitent and joy.
This was the greatest surprise given by Nien during their last eting.
Yes.
Last ti, Nien had surprised Shane with transformation after transformation, resembling those deeply morable ani beauties he'd seen before, delivering a profound shock to his heart.
Shane almost lost control because of this, as that Goddess, adopting their personalities and tones, tempted Shane with the utmost allure.
During that eting, Shane nearly lost all of his self-restraint.
If not for realizing it was overly stimulating, he might indeed have succumbed last ti, letting Nien have her way.
