Chapter 773: Chapter 73: The Sun (Part 2)

“[Eternity] is endless, so what about you?” Diana’s voice sounded slightly mad. “You just told that great power cos with risks, doesn’t this apply to you as well?”

The countless compound eyes of the Druid Scale Insects stared directly at Isaiah.

“I’m watching, I can see very clearly.” She shouted loudly, as if shrieking, “That eye is also devouring you! This is the cost of the Rule, I can’t escape it, and neither can you!”

Rocky imdiately looked at Isaiah, and sure enough, saw Isaiah’s right eye slowly seeping blood.

This scene he had witnessed before on Corey, when he had mocked Corey saying, “Your eye has started to bite.”

And now, Isaiah was also being gnawed by his own eye.

“I almost forgot, you still have the [Gaze] you won from the Hand Eye.” Isaiah said softly. “No wonder you can look at so straightforwardly.”

“Yes, I am watching you, I have always been watching you!” Diana said, “I also know what you’re thinking. Even now, you are holding back, unwilling to go all out, precisely because your body can’t handle it! You need to reserve enough power to deal with the Hand Eye and… the final Gatekeeper, right?”

What? Isaiah hasn’t unleashed his power?

Rocky was even more shocked, and then quietly moved the thumb he had just cut down a little farther away, indicating he had no intention of reattaching it.

Yet Isaiah’s expression remained calm, he said, “I originally thought your brain had been affected by these creatures, but it seems not to that extent yet. You are indeed a very smart person, knowing from the start how to deal with .”

Yes, Diana had found Isaiah’s greatest weakness.

Or rather, it’s the common weakness of all Corpse Fragnt Holders, even Isaiah is no exception.

The Rule may be invincible, but they are not.

The Rule of [Eternity] possesses two abilities, one is a passive ability that can replicate and freeze a mont in ti within the eye. Isaiah froze the most perfect and splendid starry sky he had encountered years ago at the Star Legacy School, allowing him to endlessly draw Star Power from his eye, thereby circumventing the biggest weakness of the Star Relic Mages, maintaining an always peak state.

The other is an active ability that can briefly freeze a mont and then, without reason, return to that ti. This was the ability triggered a few days ago when he was killed by Lair and just now by Diana.

Both tis he died, but the right eye brought him back to the frozen eternal mont, thus resurrecting him.

But neither of these abilities is without cost, especially the latter, which truly consus Isaiah’s life and soul.

So theoretically, as long as you force Isaiah to repeatedly use [Eternity], it won’t take long for him to be “eaten” by the right eye.

But this is only theoretically, in practice, almost no one can do it because Isaiah himself is the number one under divinities, who can truly force him repeatedly to that extent?

But now Diana can because, at this mont, she is equivalent to the entire Abyss Prison.

“Do you know how many kinds of sealing items there are underground?” Diana’s voice echoed again from the Druid Scale Insects, “The Druid Scale Insects are rely the most ordinary kind, below them are the remains of the gods. They are all bound by my Contract, Isaiah, I know you are powerful, powerful enough that I must use an entire species to trade for your life. But I can afford the trade, can you afford it?”

As if to verify Diana’s words, the ground beneath the Abyss Prison began to tremble again as if sothing even more terrifying was climbing up.

“A species for a life?” Isaiah sighed softly. “This is quite the highest tribute; you regard so highly, I cannot underestimate you any longer. May I know your na, Miss Ring Finger?”

“Why do you want to know my na?”

“I should rember every person worth my full effort.” Isaiah said with a smile, “Since I got this eye, you are the first, I guess the second will be the Hand Eye.”

“Heh, do you still want to kill ?” Diana said coldly. “You are eternal, but I am undying; as long as the [Contract] stands, my Servants can die in my place, even you can’t do anything about that.”

Though saying this, a strong unease surged within Diana, forcing her to further use the power of the [Contract] to bring out even more things from deep within the earth.

Even though this would make her backlash more severe, she couldn’t afford to care about that now.

“Unwilling to tell your na? Then I’ll call you Miss Ring Finger.” Isaiah raised the Scepter, and said softly, “I will rember you forever, Miss Ring Finger.”

Seeing the stance Isaiah took, Mina guessed sothing, her face turned pale instantly: “Teacher, are you going to…”

“I have no choice, I don’t have the ti to linger here any longer.” Isaiah said calmly, “I will try my best to bring you back, but… it won’t be everyone.”

Hearing Isaiah say this, the remaining Star Relic Mages also realized what Isaiah intended to do, but none stopped Isaiah because the mont they decided to step across the Divine Stele, they were already ntally prepared.
