There’s only one situation that would lead to this.
"Did he fall down?"
Temude had just shouted these words when suddenly he saw the wall of tentacles coming towards him, already so close it was right in front of him, while behind him there was a vast, empty space.
"Don’t underestimate !"
He suddenly leapt up, relying on his ability to jump over ten ters to easily dodge the wall?
But just as he jumped, he showed an expression of disbelief.
Because a thick layer of ash smoke had sohow attached itself to him, seeming light enough to shake off but now weighing a thousand pounds, slowing his movents.
Because of this brief flaw in his movent, all he heard was a "slap" as he was swatted like a fly onto the wall and propelled backwards.
Thankfully, he desperately grabbed the gaps between the tentacles, avoiding falling into the abyss. Yet, within monts, the rotating tentacles carried him in circles, lifting him upwards.
Looking below, completely obscured by smoke and hiding unknown voids, Temude found himself unsure of where he should land.
Perhaps Lanle should have co along; his bug-stick wielding hunters would certainly adapt to this environnt.
The bug-stick troops under Lanle could fly in the sky for half an hour without landing.
Temude, in the sky, could only hear the cries and shouts of warriors within the smoke, clearly unable to cope with the Chaos Breeding Ground.
Jumping was restricted, the ground was restricted, the vision was restricted, and their balance was weakened. Warriors within the smoke moved as if their legs were crippled, having to deal with a Chaos Breeding Ground that was now several tis faster...
At this point, they began to be thankful that the Chaos Breeding Ground only attacked with tentacles; if there were more added...
"Boom!"
Tornadoes ford from Chaos Flas rampaged over the round stage, columns of fla erupted randomly from the ground, and fireballs burst from the fla-shaped figures.
The words Temude wanted to say were swallowed back.
He couldn’t know how many warriors were still alive below, or if all had unfortunately fallen into the abyss.
In a way, could the Chaos Breeding Ground be seen as a different kind of Patch?
The warriors were just thinking of showing a flaw to perform for Sain Dungeon, but now it was no longer a matter of performance; they truly couldn’t cope.
The tentacles, which had previously shattered with a touch, suddenly beca incredibly hard. Even their prideful Combat Skill, Summoning Star, could hardly break them; other attacks were even less effective, the tentacles suddenly becoming seemingly indestructible.
Other than avoiding them, their only hope was to destroy the fla perceived as a weak spot.
Carried by the tentacles in a spiraling ascent, Temude felt unable to continue spinning; he had to do sothing proactive to break the deadlock for everyone.
He focused his gaze on the side of the Chaos Breeding Ground still possessing flas, though the location of the weak spot fla was obscured by smoke, but from the advantageous position in mid-air, he could sowhat predict the movent of the Chaos Breeding Ground.
"It should be there!"
Temude prepared himself. When the tentacles carried him above the fla, he resolutely let go and dove towards where he theorized the fla should be.
As he fell into the smoke below, a wave of heat ca upon him, confirming he had gambled correctly; the fla was there!
Yet, in the next mont, the fla, lifted by the tentacles, brushed past him and ascended into the sky.
"Ah, damn it!"
Excessively shocked, Temude forgot to cushion the fall and heavily hit the ground. "So you can move!"
Two questions popped into his mind: why the fla moved now and not initially, and why his back didn’t hurt much?
The injury from such a height could be predicted, yet now it seed just ordinary... as if his falling height had shrunk.
"We’re rising!"
A surviving warrior’s words snapped Temude awake; we’re rising?
Looking around dramatically, he finally realized the ground beneath them was indeed ascending!
The Chaos Breeding Ground had twisted into a tree-like shape, each tentacle writhing wildly, causing the fla to continually change position, whether ascending or descending.
The ground tiles beneath them were being lifted by the tentacles, while large areas of them crumbled during the ascent, leaving almost no place to stand.
Then, warriors suddenly noticed their feet were no longer above an abyss.
At so unknown ti, a new, complete, unbroken circular platform had appeared below!
Upon seeing this scene, the warriors, already struggling to stay upright, finally breathed a sigh of relief, imdiately abandoning the decrepit old platform to jump onto the new ground tiles.
"Now we climb from here and put out that fla—wait, why are the tiles beneath cracking!?"
Just after jumping and catching breath, the warriors discovered a big issue.
The tiles underfoot were crumbling.
At first glance, it seed not too troubleso, but what if the real situation was the tiles breaking upon stepping?
Aware of this fact, they quickly ran to intact tiles, which only resulted in worsening consequences.
Every tile touched by their footsteps cracked, leaving long trails of gaps behind them.
As they ran, the intersecting gap trails caused an even larger area of tiles to crumble, and the warriors’ speed being too fast, in the blink of an eye, the newly ford platform was nearly entirely shattered!
"We’re going to fall again!"
Soone finally found no place to stand and fell, yet just when he thought it was all over, another new platform appeared beneath him.
This new platform’s tiles also crumbled upon touching, requiring constant movent to avoid falling.
The fla continued to move during this, but even if it passed by the adventurers, they couldn’t spare the effort to attack it; keeping themselves from falling was already exhausting them.
"Don’t run towards ! There’s almost no space left!"
"There are new tiles below; jump down!"
"What if there aren’t any lower?"
Suddenly, the scene filled with warriors’ shouts.
Soone gave up circling on the platform and set their sights on the Chaos Breeding Ground, leaping to grab the tentacle, planning to climb it.
But as they approached the Chaos Breeding Ground, the tentacles suddenly transford into countless demons converging together, clawing at him!
The warrior, unable to dodge, was instantly captured and devoured, pulled into the Chaos Breeding Ground.
Only Temude remained on the original platform, barely hanging on; its tiles were sturdier than those appearing later.
He watched the circling and falling comrades below, then glanced at the ever-changing posture of the Chaos Breeding Ground, for a mont unsure of what was wrong with this chaotic scene.
"What... is this situation?"
In the boss monster battlefields of the Chaos Breeding Ground, it wasn’t this absurd...
