The Shattered Star Greatsword shattered the fla-enveloped roots entirely, with flas flying wildly under the fierce attack, the sparks in the air moving towards extinction.
It was only then that Temude noticed that the mass of fire wasn’t rely flas; at its center was a pitch-black mass, indistinct and appearing as either a twisted creature or a charred corpse.
Although it was unclear what this black mass was, the question seed to beco unimportant, as it had already been turned to ashes under the Shattered Star Greatsword.
The crushed entity neither exploded nor recovered, and the flas that were fiercely erupting monts ago vanished in the blink of an eye.
Did I just achieve location destruction? If so, doesn’t this an the Chaos Breeding Ground can’t use this area to spew fire anymore?
Though the fireballs that erupted from this part weren’t particularly threatening to begin with, destroying one should still aid in battle.
Wait a minute, sothing’s off; this thing didn’t recover?
Temude suddenly looked up towards the sky.
Half of the body of the Chaos Breeding Ground connected to this fla was trembling from its demise, and people could seemingly perceive a feeling of pain from the trembling branches and tendrils.
The Chaos Fla attached to this half of the tendrils shrank instantly; if its prior fla was raging, it now resembled a re bonfire, starkly contrasting with the still flaming other half.
"What’s going on here?"
Temude thought of an abstract situation, involuntarily grinning.
"Could this be the Chaos Breeding Ground’s weakness?"
After the fla was destroyed, it showed no signs of regeneration; indeed, the Chaos Breeding Ground suffered weakening, and its erupting flas beca enfeebled. If this isn’t a weakness, then what is?
"We guessed wrong earlier!"
"Everyone, go and cut down the other fla!"
With Temude’s regretful shout, warriors turned and charged towards the remaining fla on the Chaos Breeding Ground.
If destroying the two immobile flas can weaken the Chaos Breeding Ground, this strategy seems advantageous.
Yet, things are never that simple.
These advancing warriors are seasoned dungeon adventurers, and just a few ters into their rush, they slowed their pace and exchanged knowing glances.
Their eyes clearly conveyed, "Let’s hold off and see if the malice of Sain Dungeon presents itself; we’ll feign a ssy approach to slip by."
As many adventurers speculated, they believed Sain Dungeon delighted in the adventurers’ suffering, rewarding them only after deriving satisfaction.
Thus, these warriors would deliberately act despondent, fabricating a show for Sain Dungeon, possibly lowering the difficulty as a consequence.
Just then, the unexpected happened.
The Chaos Breeding Ground emitted a hoarse shriek, causing listeners to furrow their brows intensely.
The fla humanoid hovering above the Chaos Breeding Ground suddenly erupted, with Chaos Fla-crafted "wings" fiercely striking the earth.
The ground shook violently next mont; even seasoned warriors present lost their footing, as this wasn’t an ordinary tremor—it contained magic that disrupted balance and forcibly toppled them!
Losing footing wasn’t the most terrifying aspect; rather, the cracked ground from battle finally gave in and began to collapse!
"Crack—a—a—a"
Large swathes of the ground fell away, revealing gaping abysses, and falling into one ant imdiate defeat.
"Everyone be careful; the monsters have finally gone berserk!"
The Chaos Breeding Ground had finally altered its attack thod, no longer rely flailing, but assaulting people from all sides with tendrils of various twisted forms.
Predominantly, it was sweeping attacks!
The tendrils’ movent speeds multiplied, turning from barely perceptible to tracks that Temude had to focus intently on.
Yet, just as they summoned full ntal effort to dodge and counter the enemy, the Chaos Breeding Ground spewed a large amount of ash-laden smoke, a deadly black-grey mist pervading everywhere, physically obstructing everyone’s view!
If just the darkened environnt isolated vision, magic might counter it; but this ash-laden smoke blocked sight while also harming the body; most crucially—
"This stuff can obscure Fighting Qi perception?"
When enveloped by smoke, the normally clear Fighting Qi Perception used to sense enemy movents and surroundings suddenly blurred into hazy fragnts, as if the scene turned pixelated.
This plunged the warriors, who relied on Fighting Qi Perception like a third eye in daily life, into montary chaos, with bodily reactions delayed.
Blunders surfaced precisely at this critical juncture!
"Ah!"
The next second, an unfortunate warrior cried out—not a scream of pain, but a shout of surprise from unexpected attack—his voice gradually distancing from the group!
