Late at night, Chase Fletcher drove around in circles before arriving at the bottom of Rachel Sherman’s building, looking up at the window until he saw the light go out.

"Good night, sweet dreams." A lingering voice echoed in his heart.

Only then did he reluctantly look away, take two steps backward, and turn toward the car parked not far off...

He got into the car again...

The next morning.

It was still dark when Kylie Fletcher, who only finished work at midnight the night before, was awakened by the alarm clock, feeling really sleepy!

When she changed clothes, her eyes were still half-closed, but the thought of what she was about to do made her wide awake, filled with joy and anticipation.

She got up early to personally make a loving breakfast for Byron Moss.

Yes, she had the day off and didn’t need to go to the set, so she decided to make breakfast and bring it to Mr. Moss at his town workshop.

She made black chicken soup and date cake. She had never made them before, but learned by following video tutorials, and to her surprise, she succeeded.

"Yay! That’s great!" she thought, confident that Byron would also enjoy it, as it was fragrant, soft, and particularly appetizing.

She packed the freshly made breakfast in a newly bought insulated bowl, dressed herself up prettily, and put on a light makeup.

Driving the car toward the little town, it was still dark at that ti.

Kylie, full of youthful exuberance, was the typical lovestruck girl who would seize any ti she had to see Byron.

Today, she ca over without informing him in advance, wanting to surprise him.

There was snow on the road, and it took her about an hour and a half to drive. When her car stopped at the entrance of the workshop, it was just seven in the morning.

By then, daylight had broken.

In the winter town, the sky looked like a fairyland, hazy and incredibly peaceful.

When Kylie Fletcher appeared at the entrance of the workshop, carrying the breakfast she specially made for him, pushing open the glass door——

She happened to see a young woman placing the breakfast she was carrying onto the table in front of Byron, with a sweet smile saying to him——

"Mr. Moss, try my cooking? The kids really enjoyed it, so I made an extra portion just for you. It’s still warm!"

Before the words were even finished, Byron turned his gaze upon hearing it and saw Kylie.

Kylie stopped her steps, let go of the door, which closed automatically behind her, and a wave of jealousy enveloped her.

The woman, seeing that Mr. Moss didn’t respond, followed his gaze and also saw Kylie.

The gazes of the two won t, and both realized what was happening.

Kylie thought: Isn’t she the fashionable parent who ca to send her two daughters to learn calligraphy last ti, who seed very taken with Byron?

Whereas ghan thought this girl was an assistant hired by the workshop; she saw her organizing the bookshelf alone that day.

But Kylie quickly collected herself, lifted the corners of her mouth into the sweetest smile, and walked toward Byron with the insulated bowl——

"Dear, I’ve made breakfast for you! Black chicken soup and date cake that I made myself, it’s warm, try it?"

As she spoke, she set down the insulated bowl, opened the lid, and handed him a spoon, completely ignoring the presence of the other woman.

The woman felt the jealousy too, directly asking with a laugh, "What do you an ’dear’? Isn’t Mr. Moss single? Who are you, miss?"

Kylie turned her gaze, displeased, her expression serious, "Whether Mr. Moss is single has nothing to do with you, has it? Your children are already this tall, you should behave yourself! Since when do you get to bring breakfast for Mr. Moss from my ho?"
