The next morning.

Throughout the night, she vaguely heard her phone ringing, woke up groggy countless tis, but each ti she picked up the phone to check, Kylie found it wasn’t Byron.

In the midst of disappointnt, she once again drifted into slumber.

When she woke up, even the corners of her eyes were moist.

She reached for her phone once more, the screen was still completely clean, she hadn’t received the ssage of his friend verification.

Feeling a wave of despondency, she put down the phone and opened her eyes to stare at the ceiling, instantly consud by internal turmoil.

Kylie even felt she was suffocating, her heart terribly, terribly sad.

Who wouldn’t check their phone before sleeping?

He must have seen it, then chose to ignore it.

This is sowhat hurtful.

Does he know, as long as he approves the friend request, even if she’s silently lying in his list, even if he ignores her, she would feel so happy.

Perhaps ten minutes passed.

The phone on the bedside table rang with a WeChat notification tone.

The girl paused, still looking sowhat sorrowfully at the ceiling, thinking it was a hallucination.

She thought, it definitely wouldn’t be him.

It’s definitely another spam ssage.

Yes, she had already given up hope...

Monts with Byron flashed like a movie in her mind, so clear.

Adrian Lancaster had scheduled a eting with her at ten in the morning to discuss collaboration, so when Kylie pulled back the covers, changed clothes, and took her phone to leave.

She saw Byron’s friend verification approval.

Her steps faltered, staring at the familiar avatar for several seconds, and then she couldn’t be happier!

"Approved!"

She was overjoyed, extrely, extrely happy! It felt as if the whole world had brightened.

Byron had been up drawing late last night and didn’t check his phone before sleep. He saw her application only when he woke up.

So he casually approved it.

Actually, for Byron, Kylie also held a special significance.

After the verification, Kylie pondered over and over, her breathing beca cautious.

She carefully picked a cute "Good morning" from her collection and sent it to him.

When Byron received it, he stared at the screen for a few seconds, calmly composed, and edited a few words to send back—Why up so early?

Receiving his words, a smile appeared on Kylie’s face!

She quickly replied to him: I’ve gotten into the habit of morning runs lately, waking up early.

Byron, seeing the ssage, did not respond further.

Again, Kylie started to worry, did she kill the conversation?

She actually really wanted to know how he was doing but didn’t know how to start, afraid of scaring him away if she got too close.

Early this morning, Faye Turner didn’t accompany Adrian Lancaster to the company; Uncle Lane directly took her to Dr. Aiken’s place.

Because last night, Dr. Aiken called Faye, saying that the dicine she wanted was fully prepared.

Even the last hard-to-find redy had been obtained.

Overall, this morning, Faye could go there to pick up the dicine.

After getting the dicine, Uncle Lane drove her to the villa nestled by the mountains and waters suitable for convalescence, to et Victor Peterson.

"Hello, madam."

When she appeared in the villa’s living room, everyone she t greeted her with respectful salutations.

"Hello," Faye first went to the kitchen and passed the dicine in her hands to two of the servants.

She instructed them on how to brew the dicine and so precautions, and everyone attentively took notes.

After finishing her instructions, Faye headed upstairs.

"Hello, madam."

When she appeared at the bedroom door, people there greeted her respectfully.

Sitting in the wheelchair, Victor Peterson, even with his back to the bedroom door, knew she had co.

Soon, he heard footsteps and the young woman’s voice—

"Thank you all for your hard work, you may go rest now, I want to spend so ti with dad."
