After work today, Adrian Lancaster accompanied Faye Turner to the hospital to visit Rachel Sherman. Her condition has improved a lot, with Mrs. Rhodes always helping take care of June.

Upon leaving the hospital, Mr. Kerr drove the car, with the couple sitting in the back seat.

Neither of them spoke throughout the journey.

Yet, it seed both were waiting for the other to say sothing.

The interview Rachel Sherman did lingered in their minds. Faye Turner didn’t bring it up, nor did Adrian Lancaster.

She turned to look at the scenery outside the window, the sunset tinting the sky like a giant painting.

After a while, she realized that this road wasn’t heading back to Aqua Flora Residences, nor was it going to The Lockwood Old Manor.

"Where are we going?" Faye Turner turned her gaze.

Separated by a shoulder’s width, Adrian Lancaster spoke gently, "Going ho." He didn’t look at her.

This puzzled Faye Turner, "Going ho?"

But it wasn’t the way ho, was it??

Mr. Kerr’s face revealed a kind and happy smile.

Faye Turner was a bit confused, but she knew Adrian Lancaster wouldn’t just abandon her.

Since he cherished his words like gold and didn’t want to say much, she decided not to ask further! Just waiting for him to take her ho!

About ten minutes later, the car slowed down as it drove into an estate through a magnificent automatic wrought iron gate. A vast green lawn ca into view, and not far away stood a beautiful modern-style mansion.

It had four or five floors, entirely bright, beautiful in the glow of the sunset like a house straight out of a fairy tale.

Mr. Kerr opened the car door for him, Adrian Lancaster turned to her and said, "We’re here."

He got out, and she followed suit.

Is this... ho??

Adrian Lancaster stood with his hands in his pockets, the sunset shining on his tall figure, making his features especially clear and serene.

He looked at the large house not far away and sighed lightly, "Since we got married, I haven’t been back here."

Turning to look at her, Faye Turner understood this was another of his properties.

So, she asked, "What? Afraid I’ll find out the truth about you and divorce, splitting the assets?"

Adrian Lancaster scrutinized her, his brows slightly furrowed, "Divorce is not a word in my dictionary."

After speaking, he withdrew his gaze and walked towards the mansion.

Faye Turner smiled and followed him.

Facing the big mansion in the evening breeze, she thought, with his wealth, he probably has properties all over the country?

Perhaps in other countries too, not surprising.

But... why did he suddenly bring her here? Can’t fathom his thoughts again.

Therefore, Faye Turner simply didn’t think about it. She had food to eat, clothes to wear, and could follow him, that was enough.

"Hello, sir. Hello, ma’am."

When they arrived at the door, a well-dressed middle-aged couple greeted them warmly with respectful bows, as if at long last seeing them again.

These two didn’t seem like a married couple.

"Hello, hello." Faye Turner responded softly, smiling politely, without any airs.

"Let introduce you," Adrian Lancaster said as they entered, "This is Mr. Rhodes, the housekeeper here, and this is Miss Lane, the cook. You can ask them for anything you need in the future, no need to go through . I’m very busy."

Faye Turner thought to herself, is this a move?

Will we be living here from now on?

"Sir, ma’am, dinner is ready. Shall we eat before going upstairs?" Miss Lane, around fifty years old, wore a face full of joyous smiles.

And she also took an imdiate liking to Faye Turner.

"Okay."

Adrian Lancaster responded, and Faye Turner followed him into the dining room. The spacious living room had a simple and fashionable color sche, showcasing the owner’s exquisite taste.

The dining room took her by surprise, "Who is your interior designer?" Faye Turner was quite curious, as the decor truly impressed her, even more than the houses on TV.

Adrian Lancaster sat in the white dining chair, "It’s , why?" with a plain tone and unremarkable deanor.
