When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster Chapter 1025: Public Display of Affection
"Great, the family portrait can’t be taken by Brother; he needs to be in it too." Mrs. Xavier helped adjust the details for her, thinking that her daughter looked unusually beautiful today.
"I’ve called the photographer, I’ll adjust things first, you all get ready." Nathan Xavier ca to the door, aiming the cara at the garden blooming with flowers.
Simon Xavier, a middle-aged man who was decisive and efficient in the business world, found it rare to be interested in taking photos.
He said, "The backyard looks better in photos."
"Alright, let’s head to the backyard then." Nathan responded, then waved to the not-so-distant place, "To the backyard!" The photographer had arrived.
Faye Turner and her mother exchanged a smile before walking arm in arm.
Nathan Xavier walked out with the cara, and Simon Xavier also stepped forward.
The group arrived in the blooming garden at the Xavier Family’s backyard, feeling a sense of peacefulness and tranquility away from the city’s bustle.
Nathan Xavier handed over the cara, and everyone cuddled close, shoulder to shoulder, or leaning in.
Click, click, with each fra frozen, intimate and warm photos erged.
After about half an hour, laughter echoed from the garden, as the good scenery and photogenic people made everyone less reserved, turning casual shots into great pictures.
Soon, a servant ca to notify, "Sir, Madam, Young Master, Young Lady, it’s ti for dinner!"
"Okay, right away!"
At the sa ti, Simon Xavier’s phone rang. He checked the caller ID and told everyone, "It’s Adrian."
Everyone looked at him as he slid to answer.
"Hello, Adrian." Simon Xavier said, heading to the dining room while answering the call.
"Father-in-law, are you all awake? We’re almost there." Adrian Lancaster’s refreshing voice ca through.
"Almost here?" Simon was a bit surprised, wasn’t it only seven o’clock?
"Yes."
But he quickly regained himself and asked with concern, "How many of you are coming? Have you had breakfast?"
"We sorted our own breakfast, coming with over ten people. Is my wife up?" That was his main concern.
"Yes, she is."
"Great, see you soon then." Saying that, he hung up the phone.
The call had no real purpose, just expressing his happiness.
Adrian Lancaster was entirely focused on his Faye, unable to think of anything else, sitting in the front passenger seat of a Lamborghini, holding flowers and humming a tune.
After breakfast, the Xavier Family strolled around to aid digestion and gathered at the mansion’s entrance to welco guests.
Before long, they spotted the Lancaster’s motorcade approaching.
Three cars ca in total, exuding a grand aura.
The three cars slowed down and stopped simultaneously side by side, as six of the Xavier’s car valets stepped forward to open the car doors and greeted everyone respectfully upon their arrival.
Adrian Lancaster got out of the car first, holding roses as he headed straight for Faye Turner, "Good morning! My wife!" Indeed his eyes were only for her.
He didn’t even have ti to greet his father-in-law and mother-in-law, openly displaying affection in front of the elders.
He shoved the flowers into her arms, "For you! Hold them!"
Faye Turner had no choice but to accept them, looking at him with his dark circles under his eyes, "You didn’t sleep well last night, did you?" A slight teasing tone in her small voice.
"Every minute and second was spent thinking about my wife! Didn’t sleep at all!" He replied loudly, with no sha, becoming sowhat slick, which made Faye feel embarrassed.
She expressionlessly hugged the flowers and looked at him, thinking, can you be a bit more low-key?
The Xavier Family had already approached, greeting the Lancaster Elders who just got out of the cars—
"Hello, Sir, hello, Sir!"
"Hello, Mr. Xavier, hello, Mrs. Xavier."
"Hello, Grandpa, Uncle, Aunt." Nathan Xavier, being the younger, greeted each in turn, elegant and courteous.
