Everything before his eyes was perplexing.

Truly perplexing!

Xiang Beifei ventured into this area, and his first impression was confusion.

He felt as if he had forgotten the concepts of ti and space, couldn’t see direction, couldn’t perceive color, couldn’t see any light. For a mont, he was even uncertain about his own existence.

That feeling was as if his entire worldview had been overturned: no up and down, no left and right. When he raised his hand, he wasn’t sure if his hand was still a hand.

He suddenly realized that Kongcheng was right.

There was no logic or pattern here. Everything he understood in that world was invalid here; roads were not roads, people were not people.

"You are there, yet you aren’t; when you aren’t there, you must be there."

Suddenly, Xiang Beifei began to understand the mystic words Kongcheng had said last ti.

Worlds are built upon rules, and rules determine the existence of weight, length, sound, taste... Everyone lives by this definition.

But at the world’s end, these definitions no longer exist.

Even though he had arrived at the world’s end, his mind was giving feedback that made him feel as if he was not here at all, making it hard for him to discern what was correct.

In this state, Xiang Beifei couldn’t even move forward because he didn’t know what "moving forward" ant here.

Fortunately, Xiang Beifei ca prepared.

He tried to calm himself, allowing the Yin and Yang energy to circulate, manifesting Heavenly Dao Laws beneath his feet.

No color? Then he would redefine color!

No direction? Then he would redefine direction!

Everything needed to be redefined by him. This feeling was incredibly peculiar, like he was pioneering a new world, creating the rules of this world.

Once he covered himself with Heavenly Dao Laws, stabilizing his perception, the perplexing world before him began to change slightly.

It was a piece of chaos, stretch out and it seed pure black, yet pure white, continuously transitioning and intertwining.

Various forms of black-and-white mist gathered, like hazy nebulae layered upon each other, extrely peculiar.

"Hey, are you guys alright?"

Xiang Beifei glanced down at Erha and Youmong. These two little fellows seed rather dazed, as if they didn’t know what they were doing; he patted their little heads, and only then did they co to.

"So scary, what was that just now?" Youmong scratched his head, blinking repeatedly.

"Just now I felt like I was hovering, drifting into a boundless ocean, not even sure if I was still alive," Erha muttered.

"No rules, no logic, it’s normal to feel that way," Xiang Beifei said.

"What about now?" Youmong asked.

"I reshaped the rules around us, so we can temporarily escape that state."

But this situation isn’t permanent. Expanding outward isn’t simple because the surrounding forces are constantly eroding the rules he created; he can only ensure where he is has rules and logic.

"Oh right, where’s Xiaohei?" Youmong asked, turning his head left and right.

Xiang Beifei was slightly taken aback, checked his shoulders, looked through all his pockets, and realized Xiaohei was nowhere to be found!

Xiang Beifei searched his entire body but didn’t see Xiaohei; he even took out the Spirit Gathering Book and found Xiaohei wasn’t in it, or in any ancestral implents!

"I rember when we ca, Xiaohei was here," Youmong said uncertainly.

Xiaohei usually doesn’t act alone; he tends to stick with Xiang Beifei, especially coming to this world’s end requiring utmost care—this guy genuinely excels in fooling around and playing tricks, so he definitely wouldn’t ss up at this crucial mont.

Xiang Beifei looked back in the direction they ca, yet the Seeking Wood extended world crack had already vanished.

"Should we go back to find him? We still have Black Jade Leaves," Erha suggested.

"No, Xiaohei definitely ca along."

Xiang Beifei was certain.

He walked a few steps forward, trying to break through the mist ahead but failed; he couldn’t even touch the mist, nor perceive where it was.

Just then, Youmong’s sharp eyes spotted a shadow ahead, shouting, "I see Brother Xiaohei, there he is!"

Indeed, Xiaohei was drifting amid the black mist in front, looking perplexedly ahead.

Yet Xiaohei’s appearance had changed; normally, when not maintaining a human form, he was a fluffy white dog.

However, the Xiaohei before them was different; he had beco a black and white mix, with fur constantly changing from black to white, and then strand by strand from white to black.

"What’s wrong with him? Did he get shocked again?" Erha wondered.

Previously when Xiaohei was shocked, his fur would change like this; but here in the world’s end, without lightning visible, it shouldn’t be the case.

Xiang Beifei imdiately ran towards Xiaohei’s direction, shouting, "Xiaohei!"

But he soon discovered that no matter how he tried to advance, he couldn’t get closer to Xiaohei; the distance between him and Xiaohei was always ten ters apart—this ten ters seed short, yet he couldn’t cross it.
