He hurriedly talked a lot about threats from the Secret Tower, maintaining world peace, signals from the Dark Domain, and after a lengthy discussion, he finally got to Bai Fu.
As a War Fanatic player, Black Tiger Afu always abided by the principle of avoiding NPC chatter whenever possible when playing the ga, so naturally, the Star Network Agent managed to get on his nerves.
You’re asking why Bai Fu’s power increased so quickly?
"Seems like she got injured or sothing, I’m not sure. Don’t ask again."
And you’re asking what the ’Dominator’ in Bai Fu’s Ghost Night Dominator nickna ans?
"Dominator is just Dominator, what else could it an? Okay, enough, I told you to ask soone else. I have tasks to do."
Black Tiger Afu turned and walked away, leaving the Star Network Agent with only a towering figure to gaze at.
Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!
The Star Network Agent was trembling with excitent. He had truly gathered so incredibly useful information, and he was about to get a promotion and a raise. Thinking of this, he hastily sent the intelligence back to Manu.
After receiving the intelligence, Manu quickly found Clavel.
"It’s all clear now!"
Bai Fu is the Dominator, a Dominator who got injured and is now recovering her power!
At that mont, Manu thought back to the words Bai Fu had said to the dia in the Sea Lion Star System. The one that struck him the most was "I want to save my holand with my own power." At the ti, he even thought Bai Fu was being a bit bullheaded. What’s wrong with relying on others in a critical mont?
Now looking back, it’s he who was too young!
The existence capable of inflicting severe injuries on a Dominator and causing her power to fall to S rank must be at least Dominator Level.
Bai Fu’s refusal of the Star Network’s assistance wasn’t out of stubbornness—it was her saving them! She didn’t want to drag these "rookies" into the struggle between high-level Superpower Users.
"She truly is a Savior Saintess!"
Manu couldn’t help but be moved.
He had always felt that Bai Fu was kind-hearted, and now that he learned she was a Dominator, he was even more convinced that her kindness was genuine.
Strong power, high status, and yet still so benevolent—that’s true goodness, isn’t it?
In reality, if Manu had thought it through carefully, he might have noticed so inconsistencies, like why Bai Fu, being a Dominator, would still ask him for Advanced Knowledge. But Manu, biased from the start, no longer had the heart to consider these details. While feeling wary of the powerful enemies Bai Fu was facing, he beca more convinced that knowing Bai Fu was an excellent opportunity for the Star Network to take flight.
From a Star System Level civilization to a Star Cluster Level one, the Star Network had always been striving for this. Yet, despite years of effort, they had been unable to retain Catastrophe Level seeds. If they could form a good relationship with Bai Fu while she was at her lowest point, maybe they could use this opportunity to cross that threshold.
Manu shared his thoughts with Clavel, and Clavel, along with the other mbers of the Joint Conference, unanimously agreed with Manu’s perspective. They were all so eager to progress!
"It’s worth ntioning that, given Bai Fu’s character, if we try to force benefits on her, she’s likely to refuse. So we need to find another way."
"Let’s use comrcial endorsents. She doesn’t reject advertising, right? We can make a roundabout investnt by helping her secure comrcial partnerships."
"That’s a good idea, but I have another one. Didn’t she start a private military company? We could increase the hiring of those Undying People working for her."
Clavel nodded repeatedly.
They were all excellent thods, but now they faced a new problem.
"The signal sent from Golden Valley Star was a wide-area signal. Others aside from us can receive it. If other factions, like the Secret Tower, discover Bai Fu’s secret and make contact with her before us, we’ll be under serious pressure."
"Bai Fu is vehently against evil, and it’s not long since the Night Mother from the Secret Tower made a ss on Ulysses Star. Even if they deliberately try to win over Bai Fu, she probably won’t care about them." Manu spoke confidently, "We just need to watch out for other civilizations. However... if the Secret Tower receives this signal, it could stir up quite a bit of trouble. According to the Undying People, there are many Undying People on Golden Valley Star too. If the Secret Tower sends people to recruit them, even if just a small portion switches sides, it would be a big problem for us."
"We can’t let the Secret Tower succeed. Manu, find a way to contact Bai Fu and tell her what’s happened here."
"Leave it to ."
As soon as the eting was over, Manu imdiately headed for Ulysses Star.
He knew Bai Fu wasn’t on Ulysses Star; he went there to boost Bai Fu’s Affinity first. For this, he specifically brought over a construction crew to rebuild the buildings that Cecilia had smashed.
After finishing all this, he then actively called Bai Fu.
"No response?"
Manu was taken aback. Bai Fu wasn’t at the Star Contract Initial Gate Star System branch. How could his call not reach her there?
He continued to wait, only receiving Bai Fu’s reply the next day.
"What happened?"
At this ti, Bai Fu had just arrived at Star Sea with the Players from Indigo Star.
Manu didn’t rush to state his business but instead started with a question, "Ghost Night Dominator?"
Bai Fu paused, "How did you know that?"
She rely wondered how Manu knew of this nickna, as she had never ntioned it to him, nor had she said it during dia interviews.
But to Manu, her question implied much more depth. How did you know that—if it’s not a tacit acknowledgnt of her identity?
