Under Manu’s urging, the signal monitor promptly sent the translated signal to his communicator.
He opened it imdiately. The signal, translated into the Star Network Community’s common script, was not long at all—just over a hundred words. The sender was signed as [Representative of the Undying People of Golden Valley Star, Fengyou Essence], and the ssage stated that Golden Valley Star was currently in crisis and hoped that [Newly-appointed Saintess of the Sea Lion Star System · Founder of Dark Moon Tide Private Ard Company · Ghost Night Dominator · Bai Fu] could co to Golden Valley Star to help calm the disaster.
"This signal was indeed sent to Saintess Bai Fu!"
Manu’s pupils dilated drastically.
The new Saintess of the Sea Lion Star System, founder of Dark Moon Tide—if this wasn’t the Saintess Bai Fu he knew, then who could it be?
However, what shocked him was not that the signal was sent to Bai Fu, but the way in which Fengyou Essence addressed her—
Ghost Night Dominator!
Wait, Dominator?!
Manu shook his head vigorously.
He hadn’t misread, had he? A Dominator was stronger than a Catastrophe-level Superpower User, second only to those of Super Supre status.
It was known that the openly acknowledged strongest combat power in the Initial Gate Star System didn’t even reach the Upper Catastrophe level, and was rely at the Weak Catastrophe level.
"This ’Dominator’ that Fengyou Essence ntioned probably doesn’t have the sa aning as the ’Dominator’ as we know it, otherwise, it would be too exaggerated. A Dominator from the Dark Domain civilization... impossible. The power that Saintess Bai Fu previously demonstrated was just...hmm?"
Manu suddenly froze.
Deep down, he didn’t quite believe Bai Fu was a Dominator. For a Dominator to co to such a remote place in the Edge World of the Initial Gate Star System, they could simply transform into an Empress and do whatever they wanted. Could they still be bullied by the Secret Tower?
But as he carefully recalled Bai Fu’s power, he beca speechless.
When Bai Fu first appeared on Heavenly Lake Star, the power she showed should have been between peak A-level and S-level. But when she reappeared at the Constant Star Graveyard, given the pool of S-level Superpower Users, her power could already be considered above average.
The gap between these two tis was less than a month. Her power increase was unbelievably fast; even those at the Super Supre Level didn’t enhance their power this quickly, did they?
"Either Bai Fu has an extrely high Talent, or she was hiding her strength, wait—not necessarily hiding her strength, it might be possible that she was injured, causing a decrease in power that she is now slowly recovering."
Manu furrowed his brow.
No matter the reason, the Star Network had to elevate their priority level for Bai Fu, ideally even higher than that of Void Battle Maiden Fei Ye.
If Bai Fu simply had high Talent, then the Star Network putting emphasis on Bai Fu was akin to investing early in a Superpower User with potential to advance to Catastrophe or even Dominator level, which could greatly benefit the future developnt of the Star Network.
If Bai Fu was hiding her power or recovering from an injury, increasing the emphasis on her might not necessarily win her over, but it would at least avoid provoking her.
"Continue monitoring to see if any new signals co in. I need to leave for a mont."
After giving instructions to the monitor, Manu imdiately reported the situation to the Joint Conference of the Star Network Community.
The rotational chairman of the conference, Clavel, replied, "Are you sure this ssage really ca from the Dark Domain? From the phrasing of this signal, Golden Valley Star shouldn’t be Bai Fu’s ho. If so, how could the Undying People on Golden Valley Star know about the titles Bai Fu has made for herself in the Sea Lion Star System?"
Manu was montarily taken aback, "Maybe they’re connected to the Interstellar Network?"
"If they were connected to the Interstellar Network, would they need to send this kind of area-wide signal to contact Bai Fu? Couldn’t they just contact her directly through the mission platform’s backend?" Clavel rolled his eyes, "Let’s investigate first. It’s a tumultuous ti, and we shouldn’t fall into the Secret Tower’s traps."
Manu followed the orders imdiately.
Half a day later, the initial analysis of the signal was conducted, and from the decay value of transmission distance, the signal indeed originated from deep within the Dark Domain; whether it was from the Secret Tower remained unknown.
However, that was not a big issue. The Star Network had its own ways to distinguish the authenticity.
Before Bai Fu left Ulysses Star for Indigo Star, due to her hasty departure, only a part of the Players who were on Ulysses Star went with her. The rest were left in the Sea Lion Star System.
Manu ordered his people to contact those Players and extract information.
By this ti, the 1.4 version had already been launched, and those Players logged in right away, making it easier for the Star Network to reach them.
"Golden Valley Star? How do you know about Golden Valley Star? Why are you asking this?"
The Dragon of Catastrophe looked at the Star Network Agent who ca to inquire with a suspicious eye.
After much effort, the Star Network Agent still could not extract any useful information from the Dragon of Catastrophe, but deduced from its reactions that Golden Valley Star indeed existed and had so connection with the Undying People and Bai Fu.
Out of options, he had to ask other Players, and after searching, he found the seemingly naïve Black Tiger Afu.
If it was him, extracting information should be easy?
"Have you heard of Golden Valley Star?"
"Golden Valley Star? Isn’t that the planet where other ’Players’ are? What’s up, is there sothing wrong?" Black Tiger Afu countered.
The word ’Players’ was censored by the system, but it didn’t matter to the Star Network Agent; he couldn’t help but want to burst out laughing—oh man, he actually dug out so useful information!
