??Back in his room, Bai Xuan first tossed the Black Dragon Bone Fragnt into the Book of Worlds, then began pondering how to inject the Gene Enhancer into Bai Yu.
??She was leaving for the safehouse tomorrow—tonight was his only chance. He’d have to act under cover of darkness!

??“I don’t have any spells that’ll make soone sleep through anything,” she finally replied, “but I do have magic that can temporarily numb pain.”
