Supercats like Wheatley thus sought to switch to the body of an unborn human child to preserve their lives and attain a new physical form.
However, if only their possessed bodies were killed, the impact on their awareness would be insignificant.
That was the case with Black Cloud. Once the body he possessed was killed, his awareness imdiately jumped out and transferred to another apostle nearby. Right after that, he activated his Awareness Skill.
Lightning Thoughts - Speed of thought process and speed of transfer of Awareness increased by 10 tis.
The whole world seed to have slowed down in Black Cloud’s eyes. The speed at which the power of Awareness was being transferred increased rapidly.
However, despite the high speed at which his eyeballs moved around, he did not see a trace of Zhao Yao or Wheatley. "Eh? Where did he go?"
Unknown to Black Cloud, Zhao Yao had already brought Wheatley to hide in a different space. With a thought in his head, a series of Awareness Skills were continuously unleashed within a short span of 0.1 seconds.
Mark of Awareness - Identify the target for an Awareness attack.
Ivory Light - Awareness transforms into nurous Lightsabers that can pierce, slice, break through the target’s Awareness and burn the target’s Awareness.
Divine Speed - Increase the speed and distance at which the power of Awareness spreads.
A Lightsaber ford from the power of Awareness appeared in Black Cloud’s body and began to expand and burn rapidly.
"Damn!"
The next mont, he saw the Ivory Light flicker slightly before it stopped moving altogether. Black Cloud was confused. "What’s going on? Where did they escape to?"
Zhao Yao, who was hiding in the dinsion portal, did not stop his attacks. Looking at Black Cloud who was still activating his powers, Zhao Yao activated the power of Ti Freeze again.
After a short while, Black Cloud only felt like his vision blurred montarily before he realized that everyone else around him had disappeared.
"Damn you!" Black Cloud imdiately realized what was going on and tried to run away.
Zhao Yao hid in the dinsion portal and lightly flicked his fingers. Two coins shot through both legs of Black Cloud’s, who collapsed on the floor imdiately.
Black Cloud’s face changed as he knew he was in trouble.
Everyone around him had been brought into the Extradinsional Belly in the ti when Zhao Yao activated Ti Freeze. This ant that Black Cloud did not have any other physical body he could possess.
In the back yard garden area, he had sealed the dinsion to prevent Wheatley from escaping. Yet now, this ant that he would be trapped here as well, as he could not run away by escaping into the Awareness Dinsion.
At that mont, Black Cloud was shockingly sealed to die within that physical body.
At the sa ti, in the dinsion portal, Zhao Yao stared at Black Cloud, who lay motionless on the floor. He did not continue attacking but instead observed him carefully.
"The power of Awareness cannot interfere with the physical world, it can only affect the Awareness of others. Different kinds of Awareness Skills are only effective if they are used on the Awareness of others."
"Although Awareness can be used to traverse the Awareness Dinsion, it still has no choice but to rely on a physical body to exist in the physical world."
"This guy has no other physical bodies to possess around him now. He can’t travel in the Awareness Dinsion as well. Will he just be trapped here?"
"If I kill him now, what will happen to his Awareness?"
Zhao Yao thought about it with a lot of curiosity. "Be exposed in the physical world? Or will it be an instant death?"
He lightly flicked his finger again and a coin had already shot through Black Cloud’s head.
Zhao Yao imdiately sensed a strong surge of Awareness emanating from the corpse. It floated in the air briefly before it flew off into the distance at high speed.
However, even Zhao Yao could sense that the big blob of Awareness was dissipating at an astonishing pace as it flew around in the physical world. It was as if his Awareness was free falling from a cliff.
LV 28... LV27... LV26... LV25... LV24...
Looking at the numbers that were diminishing as the Awareness flew away, Zhao Yao thought to himself, "Looks like without a physical body, Awareness diminishes greatly when exposed in its pure form in the physical world."
On the other hand, Black Cloud could feel that his power of Awareness was deteriorating. Just as he thought he could finally escape, he felt a surge of hot air assaulting his senses.
Zhao Yao appeared in front of him and turned Diana’s Level 25 power of Awareness into invisible flas that blasted towards him.
Maroon Level Skill - Scorching Sun.
At the sa ti, Wheatley’s Level 28 power of Awareness imdiately surged out from the Cat Prince Costu to attack. Previously, Zhao Yao realized that the Cat Prince Costu could only borrow Wheatley’s basic ability and power of Awareness, it did not include the skills that Wheatley had learnt.
Just like other cat slaves, he had to learn new skills on his own after borrowing the ability.
However, using the powers of a Level 28 Awareness against that of a Level 25 was more than enough to defeat the imnsely weakened Black Cloud.
Zhao Yao noticed that the mont he attacked, Black Cloud felt the invisible flas scorching his own Awareness. He scread in agony and wanted to escape, but his weakened Awareness was defenseless against the scourge of flas from the Scorching Sun. After being attacked by a Level 28 power of Awareness, his own Awareness exploded and dissipated into thin air.
At the sa ti, the Awareness Sealing Needles on Wheatley’s body slowly disappeared as Black Cloud died.
"Is he gone for good?" Zhao Yao thought to himself. "This shows that having a high level of Awareness doesn’t make one undefeatable at all. The combination of abilities is equally important as well."
"One’s original physical form and body are very crucial for the power of Awareness. With a weakness like that in the Short Fur Tribe, I wonder if the strongn amongst them had any counteractive asures in place to tackle this weakness."
Zhao Yao pursed his lips. He pulled out the crowd from the dinsion portal again. Wheatley, Black Dune, Snow Mountain, and the rest were all knocked out by him and had no idea about what had just happened.
After a few minutes, Wheatley was the first to regain consciousness. The mont she awoke, she was utterly shocked as she realized that the Awareness Sealing Needles on her body were completely gone.
She stared at Zhao Yao in front of her and asked in confusion, "Guang Yu, what happened? Where did that man go?"
Everyone else slowly regained consciousness. All of them were shocked and bewildered when they saw Zhao Yao.
Zhao Yao replied, "I don’t know. I fought with that man for a while and got attacked a few tis before he fled."
"Humph, I knew it. That guy isn’t much stronger than . If I wasn’t poisoned, he wouldn’t be a match for . He must have been injured from fighting with ," Wheatley said. "Guang Yu, you borrowed 70% to 80% of my power, of course he would be scared and run away."
Zhao Yao rolled his eyes in his heart. For goodness sake, the Level 28 and Level 29 labels above their heads were very clear. It was clearly not a slight difference. If not for the fact that he had other superpowers to kill the physical body and attack in hiding, it would have been impossible to defeat the other party by relying on Wheatley’s ability alone.
However, since Wheatley was able to imagine all these self-fulfilling fantasies so quickly, it saved the need for Zhao Yao to explain what had happened.
Wheatley continued, "Oh right. Where’s Snow Mountain? Where did he go?"
Zhao Yao glanced at Snow Mountain, who was lying behind the dinsion portal. He shook his head and said, "I think he left too. I didn’t notice him."
"D*mn it! He got away," Wheatley raged. "The next ti I see him I will castrate him!"
The other cat slaves who regained consciousness stared at Zhao Yao in admiration. Though they did not know why the other party retreated, the fact that he could fight against them alone and save Wheatley was a super impressive feat in itself.
As such, Wheatley began to trust Zhao Yao more and more. She looked at Zhao Yao and said, "Guang Yu! I will allow you to sleep with tonight!"
