"Will, my beloved... If you are reading this letter, it ans I am no longer alive."

"Do not grieve over this. And most importantly, do not agree to its terms in an attempt to resurrect ."

"Everything it says is a lie. It just wants to turn you into its new vessel."

"Promise you will live on. For my sake... You must live."

"It's just a pity that I can no longer be by your side."

These words were written on the paper that now lay before them.

Toni and Bai Liang exchanged glances after reading the letter.

"So, it's 'it' – the real killer?" Toni frowned, confusion etched in his eyes. "But who or what is it?"

The letter shed light on only a few key details. Apparently, Will's girlfriend did not die in an accident at all – her death might have been part of a ticulously planned sche.

And then Will likely made a deal with this "it" – a deal whose purpose was to resurrect his beloved.

But the price was steep: Will himself was to beco a new vessel for "it".

Then the question arises: Is Will truly dead?

If not, then who are these two "Wills" who were found dead?

"Mr. Toni, you already know the answer, don't you?" Bai Liang looked at him with a slight smile.

Toni turned away, maintaining the sa wary expression.

"I should know the answer? Which one exactly?"

Bai Liang didn't reply, but a mont later, Toni seed to realize sothing. His furrowed brow smoothed out.

"You an, Will gained the ability to resurrect? And that power was granted by the very 'it' from the letter?"

Bai Liang nodded:

"Right now, that's the only logical explanation."

"But... why would he kill himself? If Will is still alive and possesses the ability to resurrect, what's the purpose of his own death? It wouldn't benefit him at all, except for attracting attention... unless..."

Toni suddenly fell silent, then his eyes widened with realization:

"...unless his goal was precisely to attract attention and make us co here!"

Bang!

The mont he uttered those words, the door slamd shut. The house, devoid of any light source, instantly plunged into darkness.

"Look out!"

Toni imdiately stepped forward, shielding Bai Liang. His eyes scanned the darkness intently, searching for any suspicious movents.

"I'm sorry, Bai Liang... I shouldn't have dragged you into this. If it weren't for , you wouldn't be in such a dangerous situation right now..."

Regret laced Toni's voice. At that mont, he regretted involving Bai Liang in this affair at all.

Yes, this guy was skilled at analyzing situations and solving mysteries like a professional detective, but he was still just a recent university graduate who had never encountered real investigations before.

And now, imdiately after they t, he'd pulled him into one of the most dangerous cases... It was too irresponsible.

"Mr. Toni, you don't need to apologize. You haven't done anything wrong."

Bai Liang gently patted his shoulder, trying to encourage him.

"Right now, we need to think about how to get out of here, not waste ti on regrets. Is this truly the behavior befitting the best detective?"

These words cald Toni sowhat. He forced a weak smile:

"You're right. First and foremost, we need to find a way out."

But at that mont, a low, ominous voice echoed from the depths of the darkness:

"Leave?"

"To lure you here, I had to pay too high a price. And now you dare to think of simply taking your leave?"

Footsteps drew closer.

A figure suddenly appeared before them.

His hair was golden, his eyes bright blue,

and he wore a black hoodie.

But the most unusual thing was his eyes.

His left eye looked completely normal,

but his right glowed with a sinister bright red radiance,

which stood out particularly in the dark surroundings.

"Will?!"

Toni's pupils sharply dilated,

staring at the man before him.

It was none other than Will

the one who had already died twice!

"Alright, now I have every reason to believe you truly can stop ti."

Toni sharply turned to Bai Liang,

pure shock reflected in his eyes.

The man who had died was alive again and standing before him.

To him, it was as absurd as ice cream crushed by a truck.

Only remnants of common sense remained.

"Apparently, Mr. Toni, you're not as flustered as I thought. Since you still have the nerve to joke at a mont like this."

Bai Liang chuckled,

not at all surprised by what was happening.

After all, what's one or two resurrections?

He'd seen worse...

"What's there to be afraid of?"

Toni gave a wry smile,

quickly pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a deep drag.

He was trying to calm himself.

"Joke? I'm the top detective at the agency.

I've seen so much... (crossed out)

I'm seeing sothing like this for the first ti!"

The next second, he drew his pistol,

took off the safety, and aid the barrel directly at Will.

"Will, you're surrounded!

Raise your hands and surrender imdiately!"

Bai Liang gave him a aningful look.

"What?"

Toni turned around.

But as soon as his gaze shifted to the surroundings,

his face drastically changed.

From the ground, like nightmarish specters,

ominous figures began to crawl out, one after another.

More and more of them appeared,

so many that they filled his entire field of vision.

It was the perfect sight for those who feared dense clusters.

Toni's face changed drastically, and he involuntarily took a step back. Turning to Bai Liang, he said:

"Okay, I'll correct myself: it's not him who's surrounded... it's us."

"What the hell is this?! This Will... is he even human anymore?!"

Toni swore he had never encountered anything so unsettling in his entire career as a detective.

These creatures... they resembled demons straight from hell.

And Will could control them.

Thinking about this, Toni took a deep breath, and then with a heavy voice, he said to Bai Liang:

"Listen, when the fight starts, you leave first. I'll cover your retreat. Under no circumstances should you look back! Get to Blainey – he'll help you."

"HA-HA-HA-HA!"

Toni hadn't even finished speaking when Will burst into loud laughter.

He looked at Toni and Bai Liang as if they were pathetic clowns, and sneered contemptuously:

"Since I'm here, you can't even hope to escape. Neither of you will get out of here."

Toni involuntarily twitched his lips. He tried to speak as softly as possible, so only Bai Liang could hear him.

But it seed he had severely underestimated Will.

This man was no longer human.

He heard even the faintest sound.

"Why should we run?"

At that mont, Bai Liang spoke.

Toni froze.

"What?!"

Bai Liang didn't answer, rely turned slowly to him with a slight smirk on his lips.

"Mr. Toni, you've always wanted to know if I can truly stop ti, haven't you?"

"Then watch closely..."

"Don't miss this wonderful mont."

The mont his voice trailed off

"CLICK!"

"WHOOSH!"
