"Vivian, you’re eating here too?" Rachel Quinn approached, clinging to Austin Grant’s arm.

Vivian Quinn felt her appetite vanish. ’These two are like a bad penny,’ she thought. ’They just keep turning up.’

"The campus belle is eating here too?" one of the male classmates greeted Rachel.

"Yes. This is my fiancé, Austin Grant, the Young Master of the Grant Group," Rachel Quinn announced proudly.

The two male classmates were very enthusiastic, standing up to shake Austin Grant’s hand. Only Vivian Quinn and Ian Sterling remained seated.

Rachel Quinn’s voice was syrupy sweet. "Austin, Sterling and I had a little misunderstanding this afternoon. Why don’t we have a al with him and bury the hatchet?"

Austin Grant naturally had no objection. Rachel Quinn had already told him the purpose of their visit, and he had agreed to it.

He figured his reputation was enough to resolve the matter. Plus, if it earned him a smile from a beauty, why not?

Austin Grant offered his business card. "Hello, I’m Austin Grant."

Ian Sterling took the card, remarking coolly, "The Grant Family, right? I’ve heard of them."

The two of them quickly sat down.

Austin Grant was quite surprised by Ian Sterling’s arrogance. In Aethelgard, everyone was polite to him. It was rare to see soone so brazen.

He couldn’t help but ask, "May I ask your father’s na, Sterling? If he’s in business, I should know him."

Ian Sterling said nonchalantly, "We’re just a humble family, nothing as prominent as the Grant Family. Not worth ntioning."

Everyone: "..."

’A humble family? And you dare to walk around campus like you own the place, not even giving the principal face?’

’Who would believe that!’

Austin Grant’s smile didn’t falter. "If there’s a chance, perhaps our two families could even collaborate."

"No need. My family doesn’t lack money."

Everyone: "..."

Austin Grant’s composure was starting to crack. But from the looks of it, this Ian Sterling’s background was indeed anything but simple.

He didn’t give up and continued to press, "There seem to be very few people with the surna Sterling in Aethelgard. Legend has it there’s a Sterling Family in the capital, an incredibly powerful yet low-profile entity. Could it be that you’re connected to this Sterling Family, Sterling?"

Ian Sterling crossed his legs and laughed brazenly. "So the Grant Family isn’t in business after all, but in census-taking. My apologies."

Everyone: "..."

The words may have been casual, but they struck a chord with the listener. Vivian Quinn’s heart skipped a beat.

’Could Jett Sterling be related to the Sterling Family Austin just ntioned?’

’Thinking about how Jett Sterling throws his money around, it’s actually very possible!’

’Secretly, she hoped Jett Sterling wasn’t from so prominent family. The bigger the family, the more rules there were. One mother-in-law was already hard enough to deal with. If a bunch of high-and-mighty relatives were added to the mix, wouldn’t that be the death of her?’

"Vivian Quinn, what are you doing here?"

Austin Grant’s sudden question broke her train of thought.

Vivian Quinn just laughed. "I should be the one asking you that. What are you two doing crashing our class reunion?"

"Rachel is your classmate too. Besides, this al is on . Order whatever you like," Austin Grant said magnanimously.

Vivian Quinn sneered. "Why would I need a scumbag like you to treat ?"

Rachel Quinn imdiately chid in, "Vivian, Austin was just being kind and wanted to treat you to a al. But we almost forgot—you have a sugar daddy behind you now. You’re not short on cash."

The two male classmates looked at Vivian Quinn in disbelief, as if they had just heard so explosive gossip.

Ian Sterling was also surprised. "You have a sugar daddy, and you’re still playing hard to get with ? Trying to two-ti ?"

Vivian Quinn calmly took out her phone and made a call. "I’ve changed my mind. Go ahead and arrange for Rachel Quinn’s defamation charges. Prosecute her to the fullest extent. It’d be best if she ends up in jail."

Everyone: "..."

Rachel Quinn looked extrely wronged. "Vivian, how could you treat your sister like this?"

"Shut up. I don’t have a sister like you."

"Rachel, don’t be afraid." Austin Grant patted Rachel Quinn’s hand. "With here, she can’t sue you."

"Is that so?" Vivian Quinn tilted her head. "Such big talk, Master Grant. Let’s hope you don’t have to eat your words later."

Having lost face once again, Austin Grant’s expression darkened. But he quickly acted as if nothing had happened and turned to Ian Sterling. "Sterling, since fate brought us together, we must have a good drink. How about so red wine? I heard the owner of this restaurant has a winery in Eldoria, and the red wine they produce and sell themselves is excellent."

One of the male classmates spoke up. "I just looked at the wine list. Even the cheapest one costs fifty or sixty thousand."

"That’s nothing. Don’t be polite. Austin can afford it." Rachel Quinn, her pride restored, spoke with a completely different tone.

"Since Master Grant is being so generous, I’ll order for you." Vivian Quinn picked up the wine list, flipped through it, and called over a waiter. "This one, the most expensive. 880,000 a bottle. Bring us five bottles. Open them all to let them breathe."

Everyone: "..."

Rachel Quinn’s face went pale. "Vivian, what are you doing?"

Vivian Quinn looked innocent. "Didn’t Austin Grant say he was treating? Didn’t you say your precious Austin could afford it? What’s wrong? Having second thoughts?"

Austin Grant secretly gritted his teeth. "Of course I can afford it. Place the order."

The waiter nodded. "Yes, sir."

’Rachel Quinn was furious. How could fifty or sixty thousand compare to 880,000?’

’The red wine alone was over four million! The cost was killing her!’

’No, I have to drink as much as possible later. Every sip I take is less money wasted!’

Ian Sterling watched Vivian Quinn with great interest.

’This little cripple is kind of interesting.’

The wine was soon decanted, and the dishes arrived one by one.

Vivian Quinn didn’t drink any wine and only ate the cheapest set al she had ordered for herself. After she finished eating, she called the waiter over. "The check, please. I’m only paying for my own al."

The waiter imdiately bowed respectfully. "Miss Quinn, the bill has already been paid by soone. It was paid specifically for you."

Everyone: "..."

Vivian Quinn was a bit stunned. "Who paid my bill?"

"I’m not sure about that. The person only said that since you’re dining with your classmates, it’s only natural for you to be the one to pay, so that they’ll look after you in the future."

Vivian Quinn quickly guessed who it was. She had only told Jett Sterling about the class dinner, and besides him, no one would be so generous as to pay the whole bill.

’But there was no way she was treating that scumbag and that bitch to a al!’

Vivian Quinn said, "Please bring the bill so I can take a look."

"Yes, ma’am."

The bill was brought over quickly. The total ca to 4.5 million.

Vivian Quinn silently grumbled about Jett Sterling. ’So expensive! How could he bear to pay for all this!’

Vivian Quinn took out her phone, did so calculations, and quickly announced, "Excluding my set al, which was three thousand, the rest of you five can split the bill."

"I’ll cover the two male classmates. As for you three, you each owe 899,400."

Vivian Quinn presented her paynt QR code. "Pay up."

Everyone: "..."

The two male classmates were floored. "Vivian, we couldn’t possibly let you do that."

"It’s nothing. We’re all classmates. It’s only right that I treat you to a al."

Ian Sterling’s mouth twitched. "Am I not your classmate?"

"With such a wealthy family, why would you need soone else to treat you, Sterling?" Vivian Quinn retorted.

Austin Grant’s face was ashen. He said coldly, "Spoken like soone with a sugar daddy. You’ve certainly gotten bold. Fine, Vivian Quinn, I’ll transfer you the money!"

He hadn’t forgotten the purpose of his visit. "I’ll pay for Sterling’s share. Don’t ask him for it."

"Fine."

Austin Grant directly transferred her 2.7 million, saying contemptuously, "Keep the change."

Vivian Quinn sneered, pulled a stack of cash from her purse, counted out eighteen bills, and threw them in his face. "I won’t take a single cent more than I’m owed."

Austin Grant couldn’t take it anymore. "Vivian. Quinn!"

"You’d better count it. Don’t co crying to later saying it’s short. I won’t acknowledge it."

"Vivian, you’ve gone too far!" Rachel Quinn accused. "Do you really think having a sugar daddy gives you the right to humiliate people?"

"If I were you, I’d be busy asking your precious Austin to help you find a good lawyer."

After saying her piece, Vivian Quinn took her phone and left.

Ian Sterling suddenly found the whole thing boring. He pulled a check from his pocket, wrote out a number with a flourish, and placed it on the table. "I’m not in the habit of letting others pay for my als. Goodbye."

Rachel Quinn was about to die from anger, and Austin Grant’s face grew even uglier. He grabbed his wine glass and started downing its contents.

Ian Sterling walked out of the restaurant and saw Vivian Quinn, in the distance, walking toward a car parked by the roadside.

A driver opened the rear door. As Vivian Quinn got into the car, Ian Sterling saw the man sitting inside and froze completely.
