"Who?"

Lucas leaned forward while staring in wonder at his friend who was about to leave, because he didn't feel like he had any appointnts with anyone this afternoon.

"I don't know. You'll see!" Adley was flat and left the room.

Lucas didn't say much, it's just that he was still curious about the figure who was waiting for him. Without thinking, he imdiately rushed from the room.

The elevator door opened. Lucas' feet stepped out, then stepped on the fisrt floor of the company office building he was managing. He had to give up the intention to relax in the room. He doesn't know who the guest dared to et him without an appointnt.

Lucas' steps stopped, when the retina of his eagle eye caught the back of soone sitting on the sofa. He watched for a mont the owner of the long blonde curly hair. Instantly he frowned, feeling familiar with the figure. However, he was still not convinced by his preconceptions.

Not wanting to struggle with curiosity for too long, he resud his steps and intended to approach the woman's figure.

Lucas had not managed to approach, suddenly the woman in the white dress turned around and looked at him, just when she had only three steps left. Lucas's eyelids widened, when he found a figure he never expected to co.

"You?"

"Lucas?" The woman rose from her seat and stood facing Lucas.

An Indo-Dutch blooded woman who was very familiar, suddenly appeared in front of Lucas. He doesn't know what prompted the woman to co to his office, after a long ti they didn't see each other, they even communicated with each other via cyber.

Lucas' feet moved forward lazily. His gaze still hadn't moved from the figure who was still smiling at him. Observed every inch of the face that had long been erased from mory, just as he began to recognize the figure of Selena in his life.

Nothing has changed. The woman still looks as beautiful as 3 years ago, when they last saw each other. The woman who once filled Lucas' heart completely. However, that was before. Long before he was in a relationship with Selena.

"Beib, where are you? When will you et ? I miss you."

A flash of past mories ca back to haunt Lucas' mind. The spoiled attitude that the woman always showed, in fact still hasn't faded from his mory. It suddenly made Lucas feel very important and needed by the woman who had accompanied him for a year.

"My life is quite perfect with you and you are my biggest hope right now, Beib. I don't care about them, because all I care about now is our relationship. If you leave, I will be destroyed. This may sound cliché, but that's the truth. I hope you are the sa."

Lucas rembered the sentence again. The sentence that used to force him to stay put, even though there are things that get in the way of their relationship. The words that he used to really glorify from the woman's figure. In fact, it's all bullshit.

Lucas did not think, it was the woman who denied her own words. That love slowly faded, after the presence of Selena in his life. However, in fact all the mories that have been passed together cannot be forgotten just like that and are still stored well to this day.

'Why does she who looks so perfect have to scratch a bloodless wound for . If only she could understand my feelings a little more, maybe we'd still be together until this mont.' Lucas muttered to himself.

Ah, but it's useless he regrets all that. Shouldn't he be grateful, because in fact he was the first suspect who brought him together with Ellena, even if indirectly.

Yes, of course. If they hadn't separated, maybe he wouldn't have t with Selena who forced him to marry Ellena. Such is the beauty behind destiny which has always been said to be cruel. Unknowingly, through the two won, God brought Lucas to Ellena. Isn't that so beautiful?

"What prompted you to co here?" Not wanting to mince words, Lucas imdiately pointed at the woman with a piercing question.

The woman who felt surprised and uncomfortable with Lucas' attitude, imdiately tried to neutralize her feelings again. She smiled even more, as if she understood what made the man in front of her act like that.

"How are you, Lucas?" She asked casually, without the slightest doubt on her face.

"You didn't answer my question?" Lucas frowned, deliberately trying to show an expression of displeasure. "You know, I don't like small talk. So if it's nothing important, you'd better get out of here." He continued in a low but slightly curt tone. He really has lost respect for the person who once stole his heart.

"Am I not welco to sit back down?" Instead of answering the question, the woman only made Lucas even more furious.

Lucas looked away for a mont, then snorted loudly. He really didn't want to pretend in front of her. It was too cliché to respond to the arrival of the woman who had hurt him in the past, even in a respectful way.

"Lucas, please!" The woman wore a pitiful expression that instantly made Lucas lt a little.

Without saying anything, Lucas imdiately moved his hand, motioning the woman to sit back down.

A smile appeared on the woman's face. She imdiately sat down on the cream sofa. Even with Lucas who also did the sa thing. However, he still showed an expression of displeasure.

"How are you?" The woman repeated the question that Lucas had not had ti to answer.

"I'm good and always good, Michele!" Lucas insisted, deliberately wanting to show that he was always in good shape, even without the woman nad Michele by his side.

Again the woman smiled and tried to face Lucas' attitude with a cool head. "Don't you want to know how I'm doing?" She asked hopefully.

"I think you're doing well and probably a lot happier already, so why would I ask that. Besides, I don't care what happens to you anymore!" Lucas replied bluntly.

No matter how much they loved each other, but ever since Michele decided to go and choose the man her parents arranged for, Lucas had no longer expected anything from her, especially when Selena managed to make him forget that person.

"Lucas, never mind. Don't bring up our past again." Michele complained, starting to give up.

She really didn't want to be treated so coldly by a man she still loved very much, even though the condition was different from three years ago.

"Then what should I discuss with people who only stop in my past?" Lucas said with a smirk.

"I'm sorry, Lucas." Michele whispered, looking at the cold face in front of her with pity.

"You don't have to co to my office just to apologize, because I don't care about all that anymore!"

Lucas directly rejected Michele's apology. There was a clear look of hatred on his face. How co? Even Michele didn't care when he had to swallow disappointnt because of her parents' actions.

"I didn't co here to make a fuss with you, Lucas. I just wanted to improve our relationship," explained Michele frankly.

"For what? I'm happy to live without you." Lucas replied not wanting to lose.

The cynical gaze was still glaring at Michele. However, the woman did not want to give up in the slightest. She still tried to convince Lucas that she ca just because she wanted to maintain their good relationship.

"I'm not marrying the man my father chose." Michele whispered, telling Lucas sothing that obviously didn't matter anymore.

"Then what does that have to do with ? Whether you get married or not, it's no longer my business, Michele. You're just wasting your ti by coming all the way from Holland to Indonesia to convey such unimportant things!" Lucas said

The corners of Michelle's lips curved into a smile that was still charming. However, her eyes conveyed sadness.

"You don't understand or are you playing dumb?" The woman looked at Lucas with an indescribable look. "And it's all because of you, for us." She hissed, staring at the tips of her nails.

The woman looked up, trying to deny the anger, sadness, and anger that seed to take over her mind.

"Please, forgive , Lucas. Give another chance to make things right and get back to painting our story and our sweet dreams. I know you still love ." Michele brought out the things she had been hiding for three years and made her feel guilty.

However, it ant nothing to Lucas anymore. In the past, Lucas would imdiately lt with Michele's sweet words and pleas, but not now.

"What do you regret? Didn't you already make a choice?" Lucas asked, staring intently at the woman in front of him.

"But I'm so sorry, Lucas. If only—"

"Never mind! Do I need to repeat what I said again? How many tis do I have to say, I don't care anymore about anything that concerns your life!" concluded Lucas deliberately emphasized at the end of his sentence.

"But we—"

"Stop! I don't want to hear you say that word again. Because you and , will never be 'We'!" Lucas said, pointing at Michele and himself in turn

Lucas then got up from his seat. His gaze beca sharper, like an eagle about to prey on its prey.

This of course made Michele shudder in horror. Never once had she seen Lucas's look of death like that, other than this ti. She was forced to keep silent, even though there are still words that have not been conveyed to her ex-lover. She didn't want the slightest bit to lower her pride in front of Lucas. However, feelings that have not disappeared for the man, forced her to do just that. She doesn't know what she should do to get Lucas back to her.

"Don't ever bother again! I'm already happy with soone else who is now my wife!"

Lucas' words suddenly interrupted Michele's thoughts.. Lucas then chose to leave the room, before sothing bad happened.
