Of course the matter didn’t end just because we were back.
It was quiet for a few days since we had co back before everyone else, but it didn’t take long for people to find out about the collapse in the Void Battlefield.
As more and more of the disciples of the large sects ca back, they brought news about what had happened inside of the Void Battlefield.
It took no ti for the Central Sect Alliance to move.
Though the only thing that they could do was create an investigation team to find out what happened.
Half of this investigation team went into the Void Battlefield to see firsthand what the damages were and the other half of the investigation team stayed outside.
The half of the team that stayed outside only had one task.
It was to question the disciples who had gone into the Void Battlefield.
That included our group.
If they knew what had happened, they would have known that we were the only ones that could answer their questions.
However, it didn’t seem like they knew anything.
The investigation team didn’t seem to care that much as they asked us questions, so we were able to pretend like we didn’t know a single thing about all of this.
I had made sure to tell the others to deny everything with all their might no matter what happened.
The one that I was really worried about was Mu Bao Bao, but it turned out that she was the easiest one. They didn’t actually dare question her too extensively since she just showed her aura and a bored expression.
So they just left her alone most of the ti and directed their questions to us.
Since we had been cleared of their suspicion, we were allowed to leave in the end.
The other sects also left since it didn’t seem likely that any of them could have caused such a large ss.
The disciples were only so powerful, so it didn’t seem likely that they would be able to cause the collapse of a place like the Void Battlefield.
Or at least that was what most of the sect masters in the Central Sect Alliance thought.
But it was different for a certain sect master and a certain great elder.
They had remained silent while still at the Mount Hua Sect, but the mont that they left the Mount Hua Sect...
"It was you, wasn’t it?"
Both of them said this to .
I looked at the two of them with a calm look on my face as I said, "I have no idea what you’re talking about."
Though I had a calm look on my face, there was a part of that was worried.
After all, I never thought that they would ask such a thing to .
I didn’t even think that they would be doubtful towards since they didn’t know a single thing.
I paused for a mont before slowly turning to look at Liu Ao Xue.
She was the only one that I could think of that would have revealed this secret to them.
When she saw looking at her, she quickly shook her head to show that it wasn’t her.
So the only thing that I could do was look at the lackeys since I knew that it was impossible for Mu Bao Bao to tell them anything.
The lackeys also quickly shook their heads when they saw looking at them like this.
Both Liu Han and Yao Fu imdiately gave sighs before Liu Han said, "There’s no need to look at them like that. It’s clear that sothing would have happened if you went into the Void Battlefield, we’re already used to it."
Yao Fu gave a bitter chuckle as he said, "In fact, we were already expecting it. It would have been stranger if nothing happened."
"Right?" Liu Han also gave a bitter chuckle as he said this.
I looked at the two of them with a strange look as I thought to myself...
"What kind of image do you have of ?"
What I didn’t know was that the image that they had of was the worst it could be.
The ultimate troublemaker!
After looking at them for a bit, I said with a sigh, "It’s not sothing that can be discussed out in the open like this and it’s a secret that I want to..."
Before I could say the word ’keep’, Mu Huang suddenly jumped on my back to my surprise.
He took a whiff of and said, "There’s this strange scent coming from you...Well, not so much as a strange scent, but rather a strange feeling. It’s like you’re covered in blood or sothing. Just what happened in the Void Battlefield?"
I was surprised to hear this, but then I thought that if it was Mu Huang...perhaps he would be able to give an answer.
I didn’t say anything at first as I organized my thoughts, but then I asked, "Have you ever heard of soone called the War God before?"
Mu Huang looked a bit confused when he heard this before slowly shaking his head.
There were many people that called themselves a war god or sothing similar in the upper realms, but Mu Huang knew that this wasn’t the kind of thing that Lin Fan was looking for.
He was most likely looking for sothing else.
I was a bit disappointed when I heard this before shaking my head and saying, "Then forget it, it’s nothing." After a pause, I still asked, "What do you know about the Deity Realm?"
This ti, Mu Huang’s reaction was completely different from before.
There was a look of shock on his face before he slowly said, "This isn’t sothing that can be discussed that easily."
It seed that he had picked sothing up from just this single question.
As expected of soone who ruled over an entire upper realm.
After a long pause, Mu Huang said, "Let contact Grandpa Bao. There are so things that I need to discuss with him first."
I slowly gave a nod in response.
