It did the sa thing where it went silent when it was asked a question that it didn’t want to answer.
"There’s no point in playing dead since I’ve already figured it out." I didn’t give the system a chance to remain silent this ti.
The system remained silent, but this ti I could tell that it wasn’t staying silent because it wanted to. Rather, it was staying silent because it had no choice but to stay silent since it didn’t know what to say.
For once, I had actually outsmarted the system.
There was this feeling of pride that filled at the fact that I had led the system into giving the answer that I wanted.
But then...
"Host, do you wish to be punished?"
I was completely caught off guard by the sudden statent from the system that the feeling of pride completely disappeared.
"System, are you allowed to punish arbitrarily like this?"
There was a silence that ca from the system before it said, "If the host fails the main mission, then the host is due punishnt. Perhaps this ti the host deserves to fail for being too nosy."
There was a bitter smile that crept onto my face when I heard this.
"System, you wouldn’t do that, would you?" I asked in a helpless voice.
There was only silence that ca from the system.
This ti, the silence didn’t make feel good.
This ti, the silence only made feel worried.
So to make sure that the system didn’t do anything that it regretted...

If it was anyone else, I wouldn’t apologize. But if it was the system, who was the only partner that I would have or need in this life, then I had no choice but to apologize.
They were attached to to the end after all, whatever that end was.
If we were to keep fighting, then it would just hurt .
In that case, it was better to be the bigger man and apologize before it went too far.
After a long silence, the system said, "It’s good that the host knows his mistakes."
The way that the system said this filled with a bitter feeling once again.
It didn’t feel good hearing the system speak like this, but there was nothing that I could say when it had all the power over .
As if it could feel the way that I was feeling, the system suddenly said in a comforting voice, "Host, as a reward for finding a loophole in the system’s words, the host will be given so advice."
"Huh?" I was very confused when I heard this, but I didn’t say anything as I waited to see what the system would have to say.
"Don’t even think about it." The system said in the sa chanical voice as before.
When the system spoke in this chanical voice, there was this coldness that seed to fill its voice. This was completely different from the way that it had been talking to recently.
As such, I had no choice but to take it seriously.
As for what it was referring to...I didn’t even need to ask since I already knew the mont that it said this.
The loophole that the system ntioned was when I had pressured it about how only half of the Void Battlefield had collapsed.
The implication was that since only half of the Void Battlefield had collapsed because of the War God’s Tomb collapsed, then did that an that there was another set of ruins that was just as powerful as the War God’s Tomb that was here.
If there was, it would explain why only half of the Void Battlefield had collapsed.
The other set of ruins would be able to maintain the current half of the Void Battlefield.
As for why it was telling to forget about it...
Well, I had thought about taking the inheritance of those ruins as well once I had confird that there was another set of ruins with the system.
Since I had already taken the War God’s inheritance, there was no doubt that trouble would co for .
If trouble was coming to find regardless, there was no reason for not to take this other inheritance.
If I were to take this other inheritance, it might even help since it would make stronger.
If it was a set of ruins that was on the sa level as the War God’s Tomb, then there was no doubt that whatever was left behind was just as powerful as the War God’s inheritance.
The main thing was...there was nothing for to lose from taking it now that I’ve taken the War God’s inheritance.
That was why I had wanted to take it.

Another bitter feeling filled when I heard the system say this.
It felt like the system was the last person...thing to say sothing like this, but I really didn’t have a way to refute it.

"Let’s get out of here." I turned around and suddenly said to the others who had been silently waiting for to say sothing.
I could see that they were looking at with strange looks and I could guess what they were thinking.
After all, I hadn’t been able to control my facial expressions when I was conversing with the system.
They must think that there must have been sothing wrong with , but I didn’t want to address it.
So I led everyone out of the Void Battlefield while they looked at with these strange looks.
