Among the various complex superpowers, if one were to choose the most incredible ability, the power of foreseeing the future would definitely be among them.

After all, this ability is truly against the heavens.

So much so that during the Old Earth Era, it gave rise to mysticism, astrology, fortune-telling, feng shui, and other superstitious cultures.

From the primitive turtle shell divination to modern various charlatan occupations, humanity’s obsession and desire for destiny have been deeply engraved in our genes.

But all the curiosity about the unknown, in reality, originates from the fear and confusion regarding the unknown.

If one could truly know everything and foresee the future...

It would imply that This World possesses so form of inevitability, that there is so force behind everyone pushing the prophecy to occur.

But possessing such power would not necessarily focus on a trivial matter, since the energy required to realize a prophecy could exceed the energy of an entire planet.

Involving so many life forms and phenona, even if just a part of them attempting actions deviating from the prophetic result, would demand trendous effort to correct.

Therefore, logically, a prophecy does not make sense.

Or rather, it is not a guaranteed inevitable event.

However, after Lin Feng asked about this matter, Zong Shiyue did not imdiately provide a definite answer but instead countered:

"Are you talking about the rumor of the Savior or the ability of foreseeing the future?"

Lin Feng frowned slightly; essentially, these two things should be one and the sa.

But since Zong Shiyue asked, there must be so distinction.

Currently, what might be related to him is probably the forr, so Lin Feng spoke:

"Let’s talk about the Savior first!"

Zong Shiyue nodded:

"Regarding the rumors of the Salvation Army, I am not well inford. It appears to be about a Prophet with the Prophetic Ability, one of the first humans to exit the shelter, leaving a final prophecy before they died."

"Over ti, it spread into an oracle, widely known in various settlents of the Wasteland, and beca a slogan for major powers to attract survivors and establish rule, proclaiming themselves as saviors."

"In reality, the prophecy is true and false."

"Because of the harsh environnt of the Wasteland, all living things are struggling to survive and cannot settle stably, so leaving such a prophecy can inspire humanity to keep moving forward."

"After all, having sothing to think about allows one to persevere without falling into despair and choosing to give up."

"As for its authenticity, if considered over a long tiline, it must be correct, so long as the human race does not perish, there would inevitably be a Salvation Army or a certain force to save the world and break or escape the fiery curse of Three Days in the Sky."

"This is akin to a monkey typing on a typewriter, eventually producing a masterpiece."

"Of course, if humanity becos extinct, then discussing the Savior is aningless."

"So from this perspective, whether the Savior truly exists is just a matter of probability via exhaustion."

"If that Prophet, besides the existence of the Savior, left specific descriptions, such as timing of appearance, Savior’s appearance, physical characteristics, etc."

"Then this issue would be debatable."

"For example, as Wolf King Ao ntioned, a premonition was given by the Witch, indicating that your actions in breaking the seal of the ruins caused the dark turmoil to descend, thus being terd the Child of Prophecy."

"This has specific conditional requirents, which might be validated in the future."

After listening to Zong Shiyue’s analysis, Lin Feng roughly understood the underlying principles:

"So the existence of the Savior is more symbolic than factual, without accurate predictability."

"What about related prophets with the prophetic ability? Back then, when you ruled three large underground shelters, with over tens of millions of survivors under your command, it’s unlikely you didn’t gather relevant types."

Zong Shiyue smiled:

"Of course we did. Although this ability is extrely rare, if the sample size is large enough, it can still be produced."

"Moreover, concerning prophetic superpowers, the Evolution Alliance even established a specific research project, similar to the Agent Program, to thoroughly investigate and develop this rare ability."

"From their research results, there are indeed quite a few superpowers associated with prophecy and prophets, all based on special abilities related to the Spirit."

"For instance, they found that during the secondary awakening of Perception Superpower, danger prediction ability often arises, allowing an instinctive sense of danger within a certain range."

"This ability also belongs to the realm of prophecy, but it is far from as incredible as those prophets."

"And so truly possess prophetic abilities, capable of calculating and foreknowledge of impending events, but the longer the ti span of the yet-to-happen events, the more the conclusion deviates, and the descriptions beco very vague and imprecise."

"The so-called prophetic ability doesn’t serve large purposes; however, it can be very helpful in handling so upcoming matters."

Upon saying this, Zong Shiyue sighed softly:

"This is the truth of prophetic abilities."

"And as for the so-called Savior or Child of Prophecy, they are not ordinary Evolvers able to predict unless they have ascended to Tier Three King to see so glimpses of the future."

"Only those above Tier Three, the True Gods, can really know everything!"

"Those inflated Pseudo-Gods using the Shepherd’s thod can only foresee within their controlled forces unless they dominate globally to beco all-knowing Gods."
