In comparison, the addition of fifty extra rounds to the upgraded armor-piercing cannon seems sowhat insignificant, but its enhancent direction is damage, so few rounds can be forgiven.
After all, it’s unlikely that we’ll face dozens of Tier Two powerhouses simultaneously right now; the armor-piercing cannon only needs to kill a few of similar rank to complete its mission.
As for even stronger late middle stage Tier Two Evolvers, they must be handed over to the new Tier Two function of the Power of Branding:
The incredibly powerful assembly synthesis.
Last ti, a Level 25 high-speed armor-piercing cannon was synthesized, with damage as high as five hundred and fifty, capable of automatic mode, delivering a frenzied ten-round burst per second.
It could be called a 120mm anti-aircraft gun.
One shot can destroy an entire basketball court.
With a terrifying reserve of a thousand rounds, the power is so great that it provides direct fire coverage like a thousand rockets.
If both cannons are upgraded by one level, the synthesized weapon’s power will only be stronger.
However, the only flaw is that each synthesis consus ten points of Life Value and can only be maintained for ten minutes; Lin Feng is really reluctant to use it outside combat situations.
After all, ten points of Life Value can already upgrade a Tier Two weapon or equipnt once.
Therefore, Lin Feng decided first to further upgrade the armor-piercing cannon and the rapid-fire cannon, increasing them all to the current Level 22 upper limit, then choose a ti for the assembly synthesis to experint with his highest output.
And, incidentally, intimidate those lurking in the shadows.
At the sa ti, it can make the ammunition he produces more marketable.
After all, coercive buying and selling, spending money to buy peace has existed since ancient tis.
If these custors are willing to show their utmost sincerity, Lin Feng is naturally willing to provide protection.
Especially when his strength is comparable to even mid-to-late stage Tier Two Evolvers, a simple promise can be worth a fortune.
Thus, Lin Feng imdiately took out a few Fine Steel Wolf Fangs and consud twenty points of Life Value to upgrade two Level 21 Marked Weapons respectively.
After completing everything, Lin Feng glanced at his attribute panel, and after three consecutive upgrades, his Life Value had dropped to 270 points, causing an instant feeling of weakness.
The comfort of a full stomach was gone, hunger struck again, and he wanted to replenish his state with food.
Locking the transport car’s door, Lin Feng returned to the Wolf Armor Battle Car, took out a large piece of Level 20 Evolutionary at, which could restore thirty points of Life Value.
Currently, the reserves are tight, not a bit can be wasted.
Taking advantage of the upgrade ti for all weapons and equipnt, Lin Feng sat by the window, eating at to recover while looking out the window.
Ah Ming and Liu Qian were giving a lecture to the eight new mbers, explaining the rules.
Seven n and one woman stood outside two ordinary transport cars, all looking solemn but filled with hope in their eyes.
Their clothing was relatively neat and proper, unlike the ragged appearance of the lowest-level Deserters. Though their faces were dark and weathered, they were full of robust muscles, and in good condition.
Similar to the Desert Hunting Squad led by Li Hu at the start, they were among the top-tier existences within the fifty to sixty thousand Deserters overall.
As leaders or captains of these small teams, they were often even wealthier than so of the impoverished fifth-floor residents.
Of course, they couldn’t compare with the Duncan Squad; although ostensibly a desert hunting team, they were actually the Salvation Army’s planted outpost, used to monitor Oasis Town while maintaining contact with the Hunting Wilderness Guild.
Evidently possessing limited power, Li Hu and others had rich survival experience after years of struggling in the wasteland; even rushing into the desert with them wouldn’t likely result in many non-combat casualties.
This is the kind of subordinate Lin Feng needed.
Although compared to cultivating from the bottom, they lacked certain loyalty and a sense of belonging, they were at least easier to manage and control than those Evolvers with ulterior motives.
The issue of personnel assignnt troubled Lin Feng.
Even though Ah Lian and Ma Chenfeng’s captain positions were established, the selection of squad leaders further down was inadequate.
After so arrangent, Lin Feng discovered that although Ah Lian managed formal mbers, she had few under her.
Unlike Ma Chenfeng, who had his original team seamlessly integrated.
Currently, Chen Shanshan was following him, Ding Yi had to oversee the biological breeding car’s advancent, and once the ammunition production machine was operational, at least two mbers were needed to operate it.
Now, the only formal mbers left were Liu Mingfei, Liu Qian’s siblings, and Ah Ming.
Lin Feng preferred to have Liu Mingfei as the driver, with Liu Qian and Ah Ming in production.
They only need to handle the delivery of raw materials and check if the products are qualified. The equipnt initiated by Lin Feng was already fully autonomous in production.
Even so, Lin Feng was sowhat uneasy allowing newcors to handle it.
On one hand, it was a trust issue, and on the other hand, the lack of professional knowledge or aptitude could ss up the production.
This led to Ah Lian becoming a lone commander with outsiders under her command.
While Lin Feng pondered the matter, Ah Ming and Liu Qian, who had finished the lecture from afar, were approaching the battle car.
Liu Qian knocked on the door, and upon receiving Lin Feng’s command, opened it and began reporting the matters:
"After screening, we temporarily selected eight qualified recruitnt candidates arranged in a transport vehicle serving as their dormitory."
"The two new vehicles delivered by the guild are each ninety-percent new, capable of transporting ten people along with their weapons and equipnt."
"Currently, Ding Yi and Ma Chenfeng are presiding over the recruitnt venue; anwhile, Chen Shanshan, Ah Lian, and my brother are in the process of inspecting other four vehicles with the guild."
Lin Feng nodded and, upon looking at Ah Ming, suddenly thought of a solution and then asked the two:
"When you were still Hunters or Deserters, if you knew any friends, you could recruit them here, even if their strength is below par, provided they had just stepped into the late stage of enhancent."
"The only requirent is that they’re still young, have evolutionary potential and motivation to grow stronger, and their character isn’t too problematic."
Liu Qian and Ah Ming exchanged a glance, quickly grasping the leader’s intention.
After the expansions, the original seven veteran mbers would each be responsible for their respective matters, already causing a shortage of personnel.
Thus, so less important tasks could be handed to people who could be slightly trusted.
This is the extension of the relational network.
But Lin Feng had only awakened recently, and Ding Yi was in the sa situation. Although Chen Shanshan endured five to six years, she didn’t have any network among the lower class.
Having been reduced to a Deserter after Master’s disappearance from the relic, she was extrely taciturn and isolated.
Therefore, Lin Feng pinned his hopes on the Liu Family siblings and Ah Lian’s sisters.
Unfortunately, after hearing Lin Feng’s inquiry, Liu Qian showed a trace of confusion, pondered for a while, then shook her head:
"I have been awake in the wasteland for less than half a year, and after separating from the Deserter Squad I joined, there hasn’t been much contact."
"I don’t know anyone particularly trustworthy."
Finishing her explanation, Liu Qian looked at Ah Ming beside her.
She and Ah Lian had been the head and subordinates of Li Hu’s squad, having extensive knowledge from years of traversing the wasteland. Without a doubt, they knew many Deserters and Level 9 enhanced Hunters.
Especially Hunters with impressive capabilities at Level 9, capable of hunting mid-to-late-stage enhanced Desolate Beasts.
After contemplating for a mont, Ah Ming nodded:
"There are so; it’s mainly about what the current convoy needs, because most of them are not combat personnel and need to be useful to us before they can be recruited."
Lin Feng assented:
"Non-combat personnel are fine, handling maintenance logistics like driving, cooking, washing, and cleaning."
"In the future, with many busy tasks, many trivial matters must be delegated to others, no need to do everything personally."
"Besides, having only combat mbers can’t sustain the daily operations of a large convoy."
"Therefore, apart from the Escort Team, I’ll give you each ten positions for logistics personnel. The only requirent is that they are trustworthy and won’t cause trouble."
"Additionally, recruit a few familiar faces in the Escort Team to serve as subordinates for Ah Lian."
"At that ti, there will also be so evolving quotas, which will be rewarded. The new mbers should be prepared, and the strongest will be prioritized."
The two won took their orders and withdrew.
Before leaving, Lin Feng instructed:
"Take a gun with you when going out now, best wear armor. The enemy may not dare to act openly, but they surely have the courage to attack those of you in the early stage of Tier One."
"When passing by chanical Village and Dawn Village on your return, be extra careful and stay alert."
Liu Qian and Ah Ming took a deep breath and nodded earnestly.
Shortly after they left, Lin Feng’s peripheral vision caught two notifications.
Both cannons had completed their upgrades, becoming powerful Level 22 weapons.
Next, it would be ti to experint with his current strongest combat power!
