Xiao Yushu took Su Mo out of Jin Wu Mansion and both of them were walking on the streets of Palmy City.

The people who resided in Palmy City were disciples of Palmy Branch that belonged to Ancient Cloud Star Alliance. The outsiders were not allowed to stay permanently in Palmy City unless they were granted permission.

After entering the Examinations Center, the first thing that caught one’s eyes was a Purple Crystal Square. Dozens of people were surrounding the Square as so disciples were going through a test.

“Elder Du Yue!”

Xiao Yushu called out to a middle-aged man who was standing at the center of the Square. He was in charge of the test. The middle-aged man was more than two ters tall with a sunken face, and he was in a gray robe.

“Yushu, why are you here today?”

When the middle-aged elder by the na of Du Yue saw Xiao Yushu, he smiled and asked him politely. He was an ordinary elder who was at the Beginning Supre Realm and thus he dared not take the Chief Elder’s Pro-Disciple lightly.

“I have brought soone here to take the test. Will I be disturbing Elder Du Yue?” Xiao Yushu replied with a smile as he and Su Mo went past the people and ca before Elder Du Yue.

“Hoho! Of course not! These disciples have just advanced to the True God Realm and I am testing them on the Rules!” Elder Du Yue laughed and said. He was giving the disciples a simple test and it was nothing major.

“Great! Elder Du Yue, this is Wu Shan. Please let him go through the admissions test.” Xiao Yushu nodded and pointed at Su Mo, who was standing behind him.

The disciples in the Square sized Su Mo up. Many of them were envious of him. Since Xiao Yushu had brought him to do the admission test, they believed that he must have co from a special background.

“Hoho! Yushu, just let know and I’ll...!”

Elder Du Yue shook his head and smiled wryly. He was about to tell Xiao Yushu that he could do away with the test as long as Xiao Yushu wanted him to accept Wu Shan as a disciple. However, before he could complete his sentence, he was interrupted by Xiao Yushu.

“Elder Du Yue, you mustn’t lower the standard of the test just because of . All along, Palmy Branch has been stringent in recruiting the disciples. You must not be lenient with him!” Xiao Yushu said grimly.

Elder Du Yue was shocked when he heard this. He looked into Xiao Yushu’s eyes and imdiately knew what he ant.

Xiao Yushu does not want Wu Shan to pass the test!

“Of course! Palmy Branch only accepts talented people as disciples. Those who are not talented cannot pass the test and join the Palmy Branch.” Elder Du Yue said sternly. “I shall let you take the admission test. It is simple. As long as you pass the test, you will beco a disciple of Palmy Branch.” Elder Du Yue said.

“Please go ahead with the test, elder!” Su Mo said respectfully.

Elder Du Yue waved his sleeve and a black Antique Gong appeared at the center of the Square. The Gong was approximately three ters tall and it was made of black iron. It seed heavy.

“This is a Talent Gong. When you place your palm on the Gong, use your Primordial Spirit and Blood Force to sound the Gong. When you have done so, you will pass the test!” Elder Du Yue said.

“Alright!” Su Mo nodded. He walked to the Antique Gong and placed his palms on it.

When the rest of the disciples saw it, they fixed their gazes on Su Mo. They were familiar with the Talent Gong as everybody who wished to beco a disciple of Palmy Branch had to go through the sa test.

When Xiao Yushu and Elder Du Yue saw Su Mo about to take the test, they looked at each other with a derisive look.

Yushu, don’t worry. The Talent Gong has been tampered with and it will remain silent! Elder Du Yue sent a voice transmission to Xiao Yushu. Under normal circumstances, one would have had no problem sounding the Talent Gong.
