The noon sun baked the earth intensely as Gu Yan rode her bicycle like the wind towards the restaurant.
Ten minutes later, she arrived at Yuehua Restaurant, haphazardly parked her bicycle in a corner, and rushed inside.
Sweat dripped down her temples, but she didn't care at all.
"Yanyan, over here!"
Upon hearing the call, Gu Yan jogged over in that direction.
"President Tang, the schedule for this afternoon is a video eting with Huashang at 14:00 for two hours, off work at 18:30, dinner with Miss Nie at Junlin at 19:00 for thirty minutes, and arrival at the apartnt at 20:00." The assistant read out the schedule in detail, and Tang Yuxiu responded with a faint "Hmm."
"Bang!"
Tang Yuxiu and his assistant rounded a corner and collided with Gu Yan, who was running headlong towards them. The man's tall and solid fra didn't budge at all, whereas Gu Yan's forehead took the brunt of the collision, causing her pain.
She held her forehead and stepped back two paces, repeatedly apologizing, "I'm sorry."
Tang Yuxiu slightly lowered his eyes and imdiately noticed the water stain spreading on his ticulously tailored suit. His eyes narrowed, and the aura around him suddenly beca heavy and oppressive.
Gu Yan sensed sothing was off, looked up suspiciously, and blinked innocently.
The man's handso features were utterly unguarded before her eyes; a perfectly fitted black suit, a neatly tied tie, slicked-back hair, a full forehead, deep eyes, a high nose bridge, and tightly pursed thin lips—all combined to give him an immaculate and superior air that montarily made Gu Yan forget her forehead pain.
However, the man's dangerous gaze suddenly shot at her, startling her into taking a step back.
She snapped out of it and stamred, "I-I already apologized."
Tang Yuxiu ignored her. Gu Yan watched him lift his elongated fingers to unbutton his suit one by one, taking it off and tossing it aside, where his assistant swiftly caught it.
Next, he pulled a pristine, unmarked handkerchief from his suit pocket, wiped his hands, and threw it to his assistant as well.
With lightly parted thin lips, an emotionless voice uttered, "Throw it away."
The assistant nodded solemnly, "Yes."
Throw it away?
Gu Yan, "..." Was it because she collided with his clothes, so he didn't want them anymore?
Thinking about this possibility, Gu Yan couldn't stay calm.
"Just because I bumped into you, there's no need to throw away the clothes!"
It's not like she's carrying a virus!
Tang Yuxiu didn't even give her a glance this ti, lifting his foot as if to brush past her and leave.
Gu Yan beca irritated and shouted loudly, "Stop!"
She turned around, ran in front of the man, and looked up, her eyes wide open, her small face flushed red from the weather and her earlier sprint.
She raised her hand to wipe her sweat away, then boldly wiped it back and forth on the man's pristine white shirt under his fury-filled, murderous gaze.
The assistant beside her was so shocked that his eyes widened, mouth agape and unable to close.
Gu Yan smugly and arrogantly tilted her chin, thinking, "You throw away the suit and handkerchief over a drop of sweat, let's see what you do now!"
"If you have the guts, take off the last upper garnt too!" Gu Yan crossed her arms, displaying an infuriating smirk, not caring in the slightest about the man's highly dangerous aura.
The man's face turned dark, his hands tightly clenched at his sides as if at any mont he couldn't help but strangle the woman in front of him!
"You're... excellent!" The man finally spat out through gritted teeth, veins faintly visible on his forehead, clearly infuriated.
