Just after traveling for five minutes, the car suddenly took a turn and the driver increased the speed.
It entered a dim-lit dark alley.
"You What are you doing?" Luoyang shouted.
"It was a shortcut." The driver replied.
"Stop the car!" She shouted again.
"Shut up." He took out a gun. "Both of you will quietly co with or else, you know what happens."
Rembering the offer call and then, the threat ssage to her friend, at first, Luoyang thought this might be a sche of that rich brat, but threw the thought away, deeming it is impossible.
After all, they booked a taxi through an app that's widely used all over the world.
She then thought of the scenario of taxi drivers who abducts ladies at midnight and commits evil acts.
Before they go further away from the main road, she quickly grabbed the driver's head and banged it to the steering wheel. The car hit a nearby trash can and stopped.
Qian's forehead was hit to the back of the driver's seat. She grabbed her head and groaned in pain.
Luoyang was the first to get out of the vehicle. She then saw her friend was still inside.
"Sister Xu?"
"Wait a second. My cell phone" Qian shouted from inside the car. It took her 15-20 seconds to co out.
Both of them then walked towards the highway.
Even after reaching the highway, they continued to walk as Qian refused to book a taxi. Who knows whether another lecher will appear. She expressed her worries.
Luoyang didn't think much of it since she prefers walking either way.
On the way, a car stopped. The guy asked whether they want a lift but Qian refused right away. Luoyang wondered whether this girl is deeply traumatized.
Her guiltiness rose. However, she doesn't know how to pay back her.
Both of them continued to walk.
After walking for a little more than a mile, Qian stopped. She started to breathe heavily and sat on the ground. "I can't go any longer. Let's take a break."
In response to her words, Luoyang bends a bit and said, "Sister Qian, just hop on my back."
"Hop on your back?" Qian was perplexed. Sothing clicked in her mind and she was taken aback. "Don't tell you are going to carry on your back."
"Yes. If my calculations are right, we are only 3 miles away from your ho." Luoyang said to her. "Don't worry, back at our village, I used to carry 50kg rice bags on my back and run for several miles, each day."
Maybe, she doesn't want to argue right now, or maybe, she believed her words or maybe, it was sothing else. For whatever reason, Qian quickly hopped on her back as she was asked to do.
Grabbing her legs, Luoyang started to run like she was doing a marathon. Even though she can run faster, Luoyang held back herself as Qian will lose her grip.
Usually, she would be embarrassed to death at such a position but right now, all she had is a look of sadness on her face. She was looking away, not willing to look at her friend's face, right now while keep on glancing at her pouch that was hanging around her waist.
Finally, after five minutes of contemplating, Qian finally freed one of her hands that was around Luoyang's neck and opened the pouch. A few seconds later, she took an injection and closed her eyes tightly before piercing it on her neck with her force and then, injected the liquid.
"Argh" Luoyang scread in pain with a sudden attack on her neck. Almost instantly, she threw down her friend and turned around.
The drug inside the needle affected almost instantly. She felt her head spin and her vision beca blurry.
"You how" Luoyang tried to grab her but she tripped over and fell onto the ground.
"I'm sorry for being selfish" Qian shed her tears, "Hundred million credits is a lifeti settlent for I'm really sorry" Qian imdiately turned around and run away. Her legs turned out to be perfectly fine.
Luoyang tried hard to resist the drug effect. The drug not only numbed her senses, but it also had the effects of aphrodisiac, which started to kick in. She felt hot all over the body.
Without waiting any longer, she sat down in the middle of the road.
Sitting in a ditative position, she tried to circulate her Qi energy using their Xu sect's breathing exercise. Slowly, her resistance towards the drug improved.

She imdiately stood up looking at the four SUVs and an open-top car. However, she was wobbling left and right.

Clenching her fist, she growled, "forget about teaching you guys a lesson. I will leave none of you alive"
She dashed forward but tripped her foot again, causing her to stumble down.
"Pfft" The Mayor's son laughed. "Yeah, let's see"
She picked herself up and continued to charge forward before punching one of the goons without holding back.
He was surprised at her quick charge. However, he was also quick to defend himself.
Her fist t with his palm only for the forr to overpower the latter and he was blown away, hitting a couple of others. anwhile, the others who are behind managed to dodge it at the last second.
