Malaya was astonished once again. She expected that Lila would have a very modest ho since she said she was only living alone. But when she said that her house was too big for her to live alone, she literally ant it.
'That is huge,' she kept staring at the house starting down to up. 'I can't help thinking how much money she made being a commoner.'
Malaya stood gawking at a mansion-like house. Though it was not that big as the Marina mansion it was still considerably big.
"This is your house?" Malaya asked as she looked back at Lila who was now opening the gate.
"Yes, who else could it belong other than ?" Lila said, completely proud when Malaya was looking in amazent at her.
"And you said you are a commoner," Malaya added. 'Though she didn't an any harm with what she said, in this world filled with monarchy and nobility, for a commoner to have this kind of house would be just a pipe dream to have.
Lila seed didn't mind it either. "I get that a lot."
'Eh, having a house like this as a commoner is really strange. I thought this is just a complete norm here.' Malaya thought.
"Originally an old noble who fell out of grace and only had this mansion in his na and his only property passed away. I'm the only servant who worked for him for a year and when he died, he gave his mansion. That's why I have this now. Well, I know it sounds impossible or what but that is truly what happened to ."
'A noble, give her this mansion? Then she said that this city was just recently built. Wait, just how long has this city been since it was established then?'
"It seems you are still confused, please enter now and after a proper al and hot bath, let's talk more about it. Don't worry I try my best to lessen your confusion but first, you guys need to rest first, Is that okay with you?"
"Yes! Of course. Hot al! And a hot bath!" Malaya excitedly said.
"Yes, yes!" Lila said with enthusiasm too. 'I wonder how long these two have been suffering, just for the re ntion of bath and food got them excited. Ah, I an for Malaya to be this excited. Well if she is a scout, then her life was not really great before then. Being a scout girl will never be easy.' She then led Malaya and Kayden who still remained quiet inside her house. They walked in a long garden, with beautiful glowing flowers before they finally reached the main house.

For the next few hours, Lila served the two to the best of her capabilities. Since it was rare for soone like her to have visitors due to her scary appearance and really have a few friends. It was really fun for her to et these people who were not scared of her.
She led them first to a long dining table and let them sit to feel comfortable..
"Please, allow to prepare your food," Lila said. "Could you wait for about twenty minutes?"
Kayden seed not to show any intention of speaking or answering. So Malaya just answered for both of them.
"Yes, we could," Malaya said with a smile. Then Lila left for the other room of the mansion.
While waiting, Malaya rembered the Squish that Lila was eating earlier. 'Wait what kind of food will she serve us? I completely forgot about this! How I wish this will not be another scary scenario al like what happened before with the prince.' Malaya started to sweat bullets rembering what happened before. 'Maybe I should check on her, and tell her that I'll just help prepare the al.`
But as Malaya was going to stand up, Lila already appeared with a pulling tray with her. There were three dishes that were covered.
"I'm back!" Lila said with enthusiasm. "Did I let you wait for long?!"
'That was not even twenty minutes! Just like three minutes!' Malaya scread inside her mind. But not to show any form of rudeness to Lila, she just gave a casual smile. "It's not that long. Oh," then she stood up. "Let help you arrange the dishes on the table."
"No, please just stay seated. You guys are my guess just let handle the rest. Besides, it was once in a lifeti having a guest in my house after all." Lila said stop Malaya.
Malaya gulped trying to hide her nervousness when Lila, one by one, put the covered dishes on the table. Then next were the plates and the utensils. When the preparation was almost done, Lila took a seat at the right side of Malaya.
"Please have a nice al, even though I don't look like it, but I'm a good cook," Lila said with confidence. And when she opened the dishes one by one, to Malaya's surprise, it didn't look horrendous as she imagined.
Grilled at with vegetables and soup.
'It looks ordinary and delicious.' Malaya observed the food and consciously slled it too. ' It also slls so good.' Then the enticing sll coming from it assaulted her nose which made her more hungry now.
"It was so nice of you to prepare us this al. Thank you for this!" Malaya said as she got one slice of the grilled at. Then she imdiately ate it. "Yum!" Then she began to eat more. Kayden also did the sa and silently ate his food without saying anything.
Lila was greatly delighted seeing Malaya's reaction to her food then started eating as well.
Next, after the delicious and hearty al, Malaya was able to finally find herself in a warm and nice bath. She imdiately soaked in the bathtub and felt completely relaxed.
'Ah seriously.' Malaya let out a deep exhale of pure bliss. "There is nothing much greater than having a nice and warm bath after a long journey and a hearty al. This was one of the best days ever."
'Maybe I should just live here?' Malaya chuckled to herself. "Kidding. This feeling of being lazy is just kicking in. Well, who wouldn't want to be lazy after experiencing a lot of things."
She stayed soaked in the bath for about twenty more minutes before she decided to go out. When she was out of the bath, she wore the white bathrobe that hugged completely her fitted hourglass body figure. Then she walked out and entered the room that Lila prepared for her. At the exact ti, Lila entered the room with her clothes in her hands.
"Oh, you finished your bath. Here are so clothes you could use. I hope it will fit you."
"Thank you for this! This is too much Lila and I know thank you's not enough." Malaya said with the feeling of shyness and with a smile then accepted the folded clothes that were in Lila's hands. She went to the dresser next to the empty wardrobe.
" Co on, like what I said before. It's a pleasure for to help, '' Lila said, smiling causing her fangs to show up.
Lila's clothes were a little too big for her, but they turned out just fine. It was a pair of white pajamas and a shirt with stripes. When she finished dressing, Malaya found Lila seated on her bed.
"You seem familiar with this kind of room," Lila said as soon as she saw Malaya out of the wardrobe.
"I just visited a lot of places." Malaya responded as she took a seat beside Lila.
"Hmm. That's strange, did the island above have to develop houses like this there?"
Malaya was surprised by Lila's answers. 'Crap, how careless of . I said sothing suspicious.'
"Ah, what I an is it was like the feeling of one person who visited a lot of places, I'm easy to adapt to new changes," Malaya said, trying to cover up her blunder. " Oh by the way, where is Kayden?" Malaya said also trying to change the topic
"Ah I see, that was what you ant by that." Lila looked at Malaya and pity flashed through her eyes.
'For her to have this behavior. Poor her, she must have really suffered a lot after being a scout. Those people living up there, still abandoning people to fend for their lives.'
'Ah thank God, she bought that reason.'
Malaya said completely feeling relieved, but Lila stared at her with a look of pity?
"Oh, well never mind. Don't need to answer my question. I know you must be tired now. Please rest now, and we could talk more tomorrow since I know that you have a lot of questions." Lila said and stood up from Malaya's bed. "Have a good night and rest well." She walked towards the door and just before she could completely leave the room, Malaya spoke as well.
"Goodnight Lila, and thank you for having us in your room," Malaya said.
"No problem, and don't worry, your lover is just in the next room of yours," Lila said, delighted. Then she left the room completely.
Now that she was alone in the room, Malaya laid her tired body in the bed. And let out a satisfied moan. '"Finally a decent bed to sleep in!"
Then Lila's last words hit her mind. 'Wait, just what did she says before she left?!"
