’Why in the world do we suddenly have to do a wild kiss? There’s nobody around that we needed to fool and act like a lovey-dovey couple. I just need to moisturize my lips. I can do that on my own! Then, once it’s properly moisturized, that’s when we can kiss—not like this!’

He licked my lips which strangely sent shivers in my body. After that, his mouth explored mine without reservation, making open up to welco his tongue inside.

"Uhmm... s-stop..."

’This guy... why does he like kissing using his tongue so much?! He said he finds it disgusting! If so, there’s no need to go this far all the ti.’

I pushed him back, but he cupped my face and kissed intensely. In an instant, my body felt hot, and my heart throbbed loudly again. While we kissed, I was reminded of the ti we practiced kissing at the hotel.

’Oh, please. My lips are what we’re trying to wet here, not my... uhmm. Kim Ye-Ji! Just what did you imagine, huh? Get rid of that disgusting thought right now!’

"Ahhh... Uhmm... Eun-Woo, p-please stop," I said under my breath. I could feel my blood rushing to my face. I’m probably blushing by now.

Whenever we start kissing, it’s been hard to pull away from him. He always had one of his arms wrapped around my waist and the other either touching my face or the back of my head, pulling closer to him. And most of all, his grip was firm.

Hearing my words, his grip loosened, and our lips parted. For so reason, I panted hard after the kiss. Though looking at his lips now, I could finally see the faint red smudge of my lipstick.

"Okay, it finally rubbed on you, so I think this is enough. N-no more kissing."

He breathed in deeply, exhaled, and loosened the black tie on his neck. His eyes still stared at my lips with a weird expression... it was as if he was hungry for it. Nah. That’s impossible. He’s probably just checking sothing.

"Haah... Right. That should be enough," he whispered in a low, husky voice.

’What’s wrong with him? Is he sick?’

Anyway, brushing it off my mind, I opened the door, and we got out. The dresses I picked earlier hung on my arms, as well as my bag. The staff and our assistants welcod us outside with prying looks. I simply smiled at them like the spoiled fiancée I should be.

"We’re taking all of these," I said as my eyes surveyed around, checking where the little girl was. I told her to co here, so she should be here by now.

Seeing a crowd gathered near the shop entrance and the sounds of sobbing, I felt assured that the little girl was there. Acting like I didn’t know what happened, I asked them.

"What’s going on over there?"

"Oh, it seems like a little child got lost," one of the staff answered.

"She kept saying pretty noona, and handso hyung then go back to crying."

"But you don’t need to worry, Ms. Ye-Ji. Our staff will help her out and bring her to the police station, so she gets reunited with her siblings."

They probably thought I hated commotion, so they’re coaxing out of it.

"A pretty noona, huh?" I asked. "Well, isn’t that ?"

Then, I walked toward the child, and our bodyguards made way for .

"The pretty noona and handso hyung are here," I announced as I walked toward her. "You can stop crying now."

Hearing my voice which I’m not sure if she recognized or not, she stopped crying for a mont and looked at . Slowly, her little feet drew towards .

"P-Pretty noona?" her shaking voice asked.

"Yes. How can I help?"

Alas, she bawled her eyes out and hurried towards . I knelt down to welco her in my arms. She was still trembling and sweating so much.

"Waaaa-hu-hu-hu-hu..."

She cried and cried and cried. All I could do was pat her back and try to comfort her. I also ordered my assistants to get so refreshnts for her.

"It’s alright. You’re safe. Noona is here."

I kept repeating to her over and over. Lifting her in my arms, I carried her to the couch and let her sit. I took so tissue from the table and wiped her tears. A few minutes more, and she finally started to calm down. By that ti, the police ca inside the shop to get testimonies and check the child. They were then followed by her careless bodyguards and chaperone, who let a simple child get away from them.

The little girl didn’t want to talk, so I asked her to explain what had happened to the police. She listened to and opened up.

It turns out what happened was that the little girl went shopping with her aunt and their bodyguards, but she beca mischievous and sneaked out when she got bored. The kidnappers then took the chance to take her away—it seed that they had been silently watching them for a while now.

"Then I guess it’s your fault for getting kidnapped," I reprimanded the little girl. "If you didn’t escape from your bodyguards, nothing would have happened to you."

"Sniff... Y-yes... I’m so sorry," she cried so cutely it was hard to be angry with her.

"Now that you learned your lesson, always rember that bodyguards are there to protect you, so don’t ever think of leaving their side, okay?"

"Yes, I promise!"

"Good," I patted her head. Glancing over to her bodyguards, I continued, "But then again, your bodyguards might not be competent enough that’s why this happened. Your parents should consider hiring new ones."

The bodyguards tensed up and tried to reason one after another. The child was from a prominent family, after all.

I also glanced over to her aunt, who was careless herself as well. How co she didn’t notice right away that the child was missing? From what I understood, she cared more about shopping than going with her. She even coaxed the child to use her allowance so she could splurge. I’m not aware of the situation with their family, but...

"Your parents should know what happened," I told her. "We’ll take you back ho and explain everything to them."

The aunt’s face went pale. She probably thought that she could just talk to the police or tell them what happened herself after all these—obviously leaving out the parts where she beca careless.

"Babe," Eun-Woo butted in. "I’m afraid we still have other appointnts for today."

I pouted and acted cutely so I could get my way—ugh.

"Please? Pretty, please?"

"Ugh... Fine. If that’s what you want."

And so, our schedules got rearranged again. We accompanied the child ho, told everything to her parents, much to their shock, and talked about all the things that needed to be dealt with. By the ti we finished, it was already evening, and it was ti to go ho.

Back at the hotel where we stayed for the ti being, silence filled the room as soon as we stepped in. Agent Helios gestured his hand towards the couch, and we sat there facing each other. His stern gaze shot daggers at .

"So... where should we start?"

Alas, my doom has co. I should prepare my ears for all the nagging.
