I then shook my head and focused back on the daring man who approached Agent Hades. Thanks to my sensitive hearing, I was able to listen to their conversation. I could have used a Mythos device, but it would be too risky. Given the complex scanner they had at the entrance for scanning invitations, we thought they might have hidden technology in the place that might be able to detect any unknown device to them—and that was sothing we couldn’t risk, or else our mission tonight would fail.
"Now that we are alone," Agent Hades started the conversation, "I think it is proper for to know who I’m dealing with, right? Or else, it would be hard for to trust you."
"Of course, I completely understand," the daring man nodded. Taking out sothing from his suit’s inside pocket, he said, "Perhaps this will give you an idea of who I am and undoubtedly, raise my credibility."
The thing that he took from his inside pocket was small—just as big as his hand or probably smaller—locked into his coat with a golden chain. I couldn’t see it much from afar since his hand was covering it. Only when he raised it and showed it to Agent Hades did we see what it was.

Yeah, right. He was living so freely, away from the reach of the police, suspicion of any detective agency, and away from the radar of Mythos.
It wasn’t that hard to guess... It was a normal thing that the most notorious criminals and syndicate groups did in order to avoid the law.
Faking their own death... I’ve always suspected it was the case... but to think he was involved with Kraken? Hah! I should have known that the octopus monster was none other than the insignia of Kraken itself! It was so obvious, and I only thought not to speculate since I didn’t have evidence, but now... everything was clear to .
anwhile, my father... my poor, innocent father... beca a victim of their elaborate plan to spread more evil to the world.

The golden pocket watch was now in Agent Hades’ hands. He observed it carefully, every nook and cranny, probably morizing how it looked. Then, he returned it to the daring man.
"Alright. We may proceed," he said. "But first, what should I call you?"
"You may call Avarice, or in simple terms... Greed."
"Oh. What a very trustworthy na for a businessman."
"Trustworthy, indeed," the daring man, whom he referred to himself as Greed, smiled like the devil.
How amusing—to see a lesser devil called Greed make a deal with the real ruler of the underworld, Hades. It was obvious who would have the upper hand.
"Far more trustworthy than the recently evicted, Gluttony, don’t you think?"
"Uhm. I heard the news. How very unfortunate."
"It only serves him right. He wasn’t very smart after all."
"In that case, are you trying to recruit for his spot? I sure don’t like the term Gluttony," Agent Hades. "It doesn’t fit my alluring beauty, don’t you think?"
"Ha-ha-ha! Of course," Greed laughed and hit his knee as if so amused by what he said. "Do not worry. Being one of the ’Legs’ is not that easy."
"Good to hear. After all, I’m already busy as it is. I don’t think I can handle any more exhausting tasks."
"I am aware of that. As a businessman, I always make sure to know my prospects beforehand. That is why the job that I want you to do is very simple. You already guessed it earlier, actually."
"Advertise your product?"
"Indeed. However, the product is quite big to be called that."
"And what will that be?"
"Where else could we earn so much money in just a single night?" Greed asked as his lips curved in an evil grin. "Nothing else but a... casino. And not just one, or two, but hundreds of casinos all over the country."
