I was anxious as Mildred was doing my hair while Helion was waiting for downstairs, as we are going to the empress’s palace today.

When we arrived, we were welcod by the empress palace’s maids, who were all lining the front door.

Helion and I just nodded at them to acknowledge their presence.
"Her Majesty and His Majesty were already waiting for you in the garden," said the headmaid, as I rembered always seeing her beside the empress.
"Let’s go." Helion said as he looked at while he was still holding my hand.
I nodded at him and I could feel my heart racing every step we made through the garden.
"Helion!"
The empress shouted as soon as she saw us and rushed to Helion who looked glad to see his mother was fine.
"Mother," Helion said as he hugged his mother.
"Crown princess..." I looked beside and saw that it was the emperor who called .
"Your Majesty." I said as I curtsied at the emperor, who looked at .
"You should start calling father too," he said, which made look at him.
Before I could even answer, the emperor burst out laughing.
"I should wait for Arthur’s reaction when he hears you calling Father," he said as he looked at while he was chuckling.
"Let’s have a seat here," he said as he guided to the chair that was for . I looked back and saw that Helion was still talking to his mother.
His Majesty and I were sitting when I felt soone was watching behind my back and there I saw that the empress was looking at while still talking to Helion.
When she saw that I caught her looking at , she looked away, and I saw Helion turning his back and eting my gaze.
Helion smiled at before looking at his mother again, who seems to be uneasy.
Is it because I am here?
Is my presence making her feel uncomfortable?
I looked at Helion who was now guiding his mother to where the emperor and I were already settled.
The empress seed to be avoiding my gaze as we started eating the breakfast together.
The place was so quiet that you could hear the birds chirping all over the place.
"You should eat more."
I looked up when soone put so at and fruit on my plate and there I saw it was Helion.

We were now drinking so tea, having just finished eating our breakfast, when Helion broke the silence.
"Father, don’t you think we had sothing important to talk about?"

Helion looked at his father, as I can see and seems like he was giving him so signals.

The emperor said as he nodded at what Helion was signaling him.

They were trying to make the empress and talk to each other.
I look at Helion when he stands up from where he was sitting at the sa ti as the emperor stands from his own chair.

He said as he smiled at while he turned to his father and mother before they left.
I sighed as we were left alone and all I could hear was the eerie sound of silence.
"Lady Acantha..."
The empress was the one who broke the silence between us, which made look at her.
"I heard what you did for from my son and husband."
She said in a low voice, which is new, as she was always talking to insultingly or most of the ti she was shouting and raising her voice at .

She said, which made surprised; gone was the arrogant Empress that I used to know; all I could see was a woman who was sincere in what she was saying.
"I know what I did to you was not forgivable. I’ve been blind and deaf to everything and only see you as the way you were painted by Lord Abellarde in my mind the night that I saw you pushing Noraya," she said as she was asking for my forgiveness.
"What you did and said has already scarred my heart Your Majesty..."
I said as I could still rember every single words that she said to in the past.
"Most of them are degrading my worth as my mother’s daughter."
I continued and I saw her sigh deeply at what I said.
"I know I am wrong, and I know it was too late for to ask for your forgiveness."
She said as she smiled sadly at like she already knew that I won’t forgive her for what she did, but I am not yet done talking.

I asked as I smiled bitterly at what I said.
"I always thought that it was good for him to stay away from ; the more he entangled himself with , the more his life would be endangered, and I don’t want to lose him for the second ti."

She said as she looked sad at what she heard from about Noraya.

"Noraya’s already dead... She died when she was still in her mother’s womb."
I said as I looked at her, which made her more shocked.

I said as I feel pity for Noraya.
