1st person POV (Ekaterina)
“Halil-sama assured that the glass pens will sell well, and I can guarantee that the craftsn will receive the best treatnt while working for our workshop compared to where they are presently employed at. However, even if they do co back, I am not sure if they can produce glass pens to the sa standard as our current craftsn.”
Ekaterina added.
“In this case, I think we can make a profit by having the other craftsn work on Murano Workshop’s unique works other than the glass pens, and for the ti being, we can sell the glass pens to only a handful of people in search of a rare value. While doing so, we will pass on the skills to other craftsn, and when the supply system is properly established in place, we will increase the number of pens we sell. By that ti, if we can establish the image that glass pens are the property of high class aristocrats, we can sell them at a considerably higher profit margin.” (Ekaterina)
“…” (Everyone else in the room)
After a mont of silence, Halil sighed sincerely.
“I thought I knew that the Young Lady was a remarkable person. There are no two young ladies who can think that far ahead.” (Halil)
“No! It’s just an amateur idea. I have absolutely no insight into the possibility of what would happen.” (Ekaterina)
Sorry, I am just a woman whose previous life was not that of a lady.
This was just a theoretical hypothesis that was based on the knowledge she gained from watching the TV series “Dawn of Sothing”. She did not know whether it would work or not.
“It’s extraordinary for an amateur to be able to think that much, my dear wise Ekaterina.”
Alexei laughs.
“I was thinking of having Halil’s people take over the glass pen business, but… if the idea is that good, would you rather continue to continue taking charge of the business?” (Alexei)
“It would be presumptuous of to lead it, but since I asked for and received this workshop under my care, I think I should be the one to continue to be responsible for it.” (Ekaterina)
“That’s just like you. You’re a girl with a strong sense of responsibility.” (Alexei)
Alexei sighed.
“I’ll assign soone to take care of the practical work, so don’t take up too much of your ti and fall ill. Just be careful about that.” (Alexei)
“Thank you, Big Brother, and I will do as you ask. I don’t know much about anything, so if sothing cos up, please let talk to Big Brother and Halil-sama right away.” (Ekaterina)
“Yes, I would love that.” (Alexei)
“You can always call on us. However, young lady, the policy you just told us about makes a lot of sense. I hope you will not hesitate to proceed as you see fit.”
“I’m glad to hear that. However, I don’t know how exactly I can make the image of glass pens as the property of high class nobles take root. I’m just saying what I think I know, I’m so embarrassed.” (Ekaterina)
She considered asking her big brother to be a billboard, but he was still a student, and he didn’t seem to like that kind of thing, and she didn’t want him to feel bad. But what else could she do?
Alexei and Halil looked at each other and giggled.
“Ekaterina, can you have your craftsman prepare a glass pen as gorgeous as or even more gorgeous than the one you gave ?” (Ekaterina)
Alexei’s words puzzled Ekaterina greatly.
“More than this, you say? As befitting a duke, Big Brother, our craftsn have done everything in their power to create sothing wonderful… I could provide you with a comparable item, but what would you use it for?”
Alexei said simply.
“I’m offering it to the Emperor. I’m sure he’ll like it.” (Alexei)
Oh, I see… that’s right… that establishes the image of sothing that belongs to the nobility!
Big Brother could even hand them over to an audience!
…But that’s not even close to being a top seller…
