Selvara looked at Damian again for a mont before saying sothing else. "Also, from now on, Damian, you need to be prepared."
Damian froze, and his smile disappeared. He stared at Selvara carefully. "Prepared? Prepared for what?"
Whenever Selvara said sothing like that, Damian’s instincts imdiately scread danger.
After all, this woman did not use the word "prepared" casually. He had barely even heard her say it once.
Selvara directly explained the reason. "In three months, our sect’s private secret realm will open."
Damian blinked. "Secret realm?"
Selvara nodded. "Yes. The Sword Tomb. This secret realm will open in three months."
Damian’s interest imdiately rose. "What kind of secret realm is this Sword Tomb?"
Selvara replied calmly, "Think of it as a place where disciples can obtain high-grade ancient swords."
Damian’s eyes brightened. "High-grade ancient swords?"
Selvara nodded faintly. "The Sword Tomb is filled with swords left behind by powerful sword cultivators of the Heavenly Sword Sect."
Her voice beca slightly colder. "Every sword inside has its own will, so you will not be able to easily choose the swords inside."
Damian’s excitent imdiately cooled down. "Of course. Why would it be easy?"
Selvara ignored his words and continued, "And like I said before, you have been given one of the spots to enter."
Damian pointed at himself. "?"
Selvara nodded.
Damian’s expression beca strange. "Master, I just joined the sect not long ago. Is it really fine to give a spot?"
Selvara said calmly, "You are my core disciple."
Damian imdiately straightened his back. "That makes sense."
Then he grinned. "As expected of my master. Powerful, cold, beautiful, and generous."
Selvara ignored his flattery. "Because of that, from today onward, I will train you even harder."
Damian’s grin cracked. "...Harder?"
Selvara nodded. "Much harder."
Damian’s face slowly turned pale. "Master... please. I am already strong enough. Can you loosen the training a little?"
Selvara looked at him. "Strong enough?"
Damian nodded quickly. "Yes. Very strong. Extrely strong. In fact, I think I may already be too strong for my realm."
Selvara’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Then show ."
Damian froze. "Show you?"
Selvara slowly raised one hand. "We will spar. I will suppress my cultivation to the sa realm as yours."
Damian’s heart sank because he knew this was not a spar.
This was an execution with extra steps.
But then Selvara paused because when she looked at Damian, she noticed sothing else. "You already reached the Seventh Stage Foundation Establishnt Realm?"
Damian froze for half a breath.
He rembered that after fusing with the Chaos Spiritual Root, his passive cultivation speed and foundation had changed completely. His realm had naturally broken through overnight.
His grin slowly widened. "Of course."
He raised his chin slightly. "Master, I am a genius."
Selvara stared at him silently.
Damian smiled even wider because, for once, he felt like he had properly shocked his cold master.
But suddenly, Selvara’s lips curved faintly.
That directly made Damian’s heart tremble because every ti she smiled, it was never a good thing.
Selvara said calmly, "Then I can be a bit harder."
Damian’s face stiffened. "Master, wait. I think there has been a misunderstanding."
Selvara’s sword pressure spread through the courtyard. "There is no misunderstanding."
Damian wanted to cry. "Master, I just broke through. Shouldn’t I stabilize my realm first?"
Selvara said, "Combat is also stabilization."
Damian’s mouth twitched. "That sounds like sothing only a violent sword cultivator would say."
Selvara raised one finger. "Draw your sword."
Damian could only sigh deeply because with his master, there was no escape and no reason to dodge.
So he slowly pulled out his dark-silver sword, and his expression gradually beca serious.
If he was going to get beaten anyway, he might as well test how much stronger he had beco.
After all, his life depended on this.
Selvara lowered her cultivation aura until it matched the Seventh Stage Foundation Establishnt Realm, but even then, Damian still felt like he was facing a sharp mountain.
Damian took a deep breath and quickly unleashed his Thunder Qi through his feet.
[Thunder Flash Steps]
His body vanished from where he stood.
In the next instant, he appeared at Selvara’s side and slashed out with his sword.
Fla and thunder erupted together.
[Burning Thunder Sword Art]
A burning thunder arc tore through the air, carrying violent heat and sharp lightning pressure.
For the first ti, Selvara’s eyes changed slightly as she quickly moved her finger, and a thin silver light blocked Damian’s slash.
CLANG!
The courtyard shook.
Damian was forced back several steps, but this ti, he did not fall.
Selvara looked at the fla and thunder still flickering in the air, then looked back at Damian. "Where did you get this sword art?"
Damian’s heart jumped after being asked, but fortunately, he had already thought of a reason.
He kept his face shaless as he scratched his cheek and said, "Hehe... I found it when I stumbled into a cave while running from Morven."
Selvara stared at him.
Damian nodded seriously. "Really, Master. You know how lucky I am. This disciple of yours is basically a lucky star able to turn every bad situation into a really lucky encounter."
Selvara’s expression did not change. "You an a Top-Rank Royal Grade sword art just happened to be inside a cave because of your luck?"
Damian nodded and coughed. "The world is mysterious, you know? Just like how I suddenly beca your disciple from a little city on the side."
Selvara was silent for a mont because she had to admit that this disciple of hers was indeed quite lucky. "I see..."
Damian secretly relaxed.
But in the next second, Selvara’s sword pressure beca sharper. "Then let raise the bar. After all, the more dangerous the situation you are in, the luckier you are, right?"
Damian’s smile froze upon hearing that.
Selvara raised her hand again, and several thin sword lights ford around her body.
Damian did not dare to play around as he gripped his sword tighter. His playful expression disappeared, and he lowered his stance.
"Fine then, Master. Since Master wants to see it, this genius disciple of yours will try his best."
Selvara’s silver eyes remained calm. "Good."
The next mont, both of them moved at the sa ti.
BOOM!
Sword light exploded across the courtyard.
Damian’s burning thunder sword arcs crashed against Selvara’s silver sword light again and again.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Each collision sent shockwaves across the mountain peak.
