Julian descended through a spiraling staircase to Dreadmoor’s second level.

Following the direction in his mory, he navigated his way towards an isolated tunnel in the second level of the castle.

Lilith’s den lied deep within the second level of the Demon Castle.

After walking for a few minutes along the tunnel, Julian finally arrived before a wooden door that had a tallic rust color like dried blood.

Curse symbols and sigils were engraved on the door, pulling qi from the surroundings and the castle.

Staring at the curse symbols, though Julian didn’t know their function he had a premonition that if he was not allowed inside, he would suffer heavy damage from trying to force his way in.

’Uh... is this a Vampire’s form of door lock?’

’Am I allowed in?’ Julian hesitated slightly before touching the door, and when nothing happened he pushed it open to reveal a large room that looked like a subterranean den.

The room was vast and circular, carved from obsidian-black stone veined with a faint silvery light. The corners of the room were filled with thick, dark, and ancient shadows.

The ceiling rose into a dod vault where more shadows clung unnaturally, drifting like snow clouds.

Just like Julian suspected, this was no room, this was a den.

There were no windows on the walls, instead, narrow fissures glowed dimly with infernal runes that pulsed once every few heartbeats like the heartbeat of an ancient long forgotten monster.

At the exact center of the chamber rested a coffin.

It was not rely placed, it was literally enthroned at the center of the den, dominating the space as the singular most significant existence here.

Everything in this den seed to support the existence of the coffin.

Qi Sight!

Julian traced large tendrils of sinister black and crimson qi flowing from all corners of this den, converging on the coffin like blood.

The coffin was raised upon a low dais of black marble, etched with sigils of binding, protection, and ancient blood-oaths.

The coffin had faceted panels of deep crimson crystal catching and refracting the ambient silvery glow in the room, scattering it like trapped starlight across the obsidian walls.

Dark tal frad the crystal, worked into sharp, angular geotry and studded with polished stones that resembled frozen droplets of blood.

Gold-flecked seams traced occult patterns across its surface, forming a celestial map inverted with an eye-catching phrase written on its surface- ["As above, so below."]

The coffin felt less like an object and more like a sealed altar for an ancient ritual. Around it, the room was arranged in deliberate symtry.

Massive stone pillars ringed the chamber, each carved with reliefs of winged demons, fallen angels like Fairies, and crowned vampires locked in silent vigil.

Between the pillars burned braziers of smokeless slightly violet flas, their light cold and unnatural, offering illumination without warmth.

The air slled faintly of iron, incense, and ancient dust.

The floor is a mosaic of dark stone and crystal inlaid with silver ornantation, forming concentric circles that radiated outward from the coffin like ripples in a black sea.

These circles are wards, layers upon layers of protective qi designed to ensure the vampire’s slumber remained undisturbed.

Any footstep within the den seed muted, swallowed by the enchantnts woven into the stone.

Along the walls, there were sealed tos bound in skin and iron, goblets of fire crusted with gems, and chains hanging loose as if in a ritual.

There was no bed, no throne, just the coffin. No comforts of the living existed here. It existed for only one purpose: guarding the vampire’s hibernation.

The den felt cold and eerie.

Despite everything that Julian already saw and experienced since transmigrating to this world, he could not help but feel a chill run down his spine.

’Dammit! How can such a beautiful girl be sleeping in such a creepy den?’

’This is not a room, this is a goddamn tomb!’

Despite his thoughts though, Julian stayed calm because since the curse patterns in the door didn’t harm him, he doubted anything else would.

He chuckled to himself. ’I guess this is another privilege of being a Vampire’s lover’.

’I’m like a VIP ticket holder here’.

Julian doubted if it was Pandora or any other person that ca here, this den would be able to stay so calm and cold.

Finally, he approached the coffin.

He looked at it, admiring the creepy design so more, then he finally placed his hand on the lid, exerted strength and pushed it aside.

Inside was a stunning beauty in a red gown- Lilith.

The beautiful Vampire was fast asleep and still in a state of hibernation.

Her face was pale white while her rips were rosy red, her eyes were tightly shut. Despite her current state of inactivity, Lilith still looked beautiful.

Seeing that she was safe, Julian heaved a sigh of relief though it still pained him that she was still in this state due to Zaratul’s incompetence.

’Incompetent bastard, you can’t even protect your won!’ He cursed.

Following a hunch, Julian used the Snooping Tool on her again.

Julian was surprised.

He keenly noticed a change. ’The last ti she was still just Level 66, she recovered 3 levels so fast?’

Julian’s brain whirred. ’Was it because of the sex we had or was it my blood?’

No matter which one of them was the reason, he was happy. ’If it’s my blood, maybe I can give her more now’.

Julian didn’t hesitate as once he willed it, his nails elongated, turning into claws as he slit his right wrist with it.

As blood flowed, he carefully directed it towards Lilith’s rosy red lips and squeezed.

Plop!

The first drop hit her lips and instinctively, the hibernating Vampire sucked it in without hesitation.

Seeing this, Julian smiled then he squeezed more of his blood into her lips as Lilith sucked it all without hesitation.

Julian only stopped after about 3 minutes of sustaining this, and then he finally noticed a change.

The polished stones that the coffin was furnished with resembling droplets of blood suddenly started glowing in a crimson light as the qi in this den turned erratic, rapidly converging on the coffin faster than before.

Julian was surprised but he didn’t leave, watching the changes.

Activating his Qi Sight, he noticed all the qi flowing into the coffin. He didn’t see what was happening to the qi inside the coffin because a barrier blocked his sight, but he saw the processed version of the qi flowing into Lilith’s body.

Her motionless body suddenly flared with red qi, this process lasted a few seconds before finally dying down.

Convinced like sothing changed about her, Julian used his snooping tool again and his eyes lit up.

’She’s recovered to Level 70!’

Julian heaved a sigh of relief. ’Finally, she’s A Rank again’.

At this mont, Julian noticed that despite still being in a state of hibernation, Lilith’s lips curled up slightly in clear happiness.

He raised his eyebrows. ’Did she sense my presence?’

Julian watched her for a few seconds with a smile, then he leaned in and kissed her on her rosy red lips before carefully closing the curtain and leaving.

...

A few minutes later, Julian returned to his bedroom but the mont he entered, he felt that sothing was wrong.

’An intruder?’

Green qi flared, filling his vision!
