She had single handedly pushed the entire world onto the path of transcendence.
To this day, I am confused about how she was able to do that, when she was at that tier of life.
Ti passed, and the saint carved her path of sound into the universe. This was the true path of evolution. I was happy because stepping on this path ant I could follow the saint's footsteps and listen to her lodies forever.
However, this did not go how I expected, for I ca to realize that only those of extre yin et the requirents to enter this path.
I was distraught and filled with envy; for the first ti in my life, I regretted not being born a female. But soon, my devastation would extinguish after the saint, who is the most compassionate being I had ever t throughout all my years no, she was the most compassionate, or so I would like to believe.
She gazed down on the world, noticed our anguish, and it saddened her. So, she added an ability to her path that allowed us, the extre yang, to transcend along with the extre yin.
A mythical ability called [Songstress and Her Instrunt], this ability allows extre yin to transform a compatible and willing extre yang into an instrunt, after which their wills will then be bound together, each becoming an extension of each other.
Yin and yang balancing each other, fusing to beco sothing greater.
Once this was known, I imdiately went to the transformation ceremony to find a songstress who was compatible with .
I had no problem with becoming an instrunt, for becoming one would an I would evolve; I would beco sothing that could play the lodies I was obsessed with. Plus, it wasn't like I would lose my humanoid form.
Soon, I reached the ceremony. I stood at the center of a giant stage along with hundreds of thousands of yang from many different species from my kin, the symphonians, to beasts, to small insects.
This was the doing of the saint, cleansing the venomous attributes of all creatures who heard her art and opening thier minds .
Soon, the saint, along with millions of songstresses of all different species behind her, descended from the sky like gods.
The saint waved her hand toward us, and a force enveloped our bodies, after which we started vibrating at a unique frequency. Sounds and lodies began chanting from our spirits; these lodies then materialized into tiny runes in the form of musical notes that glowed with distinct colors.
🎼DING! 🎼DING!
These runes would float toward the extre yins and hover over the one that an extre yang was most compatible with.
My runes were black and shimred the brightest, akin to a dark star, and to my and everyone's shock, my rune hovered above the head of the saint.
To my even further surprise, she accepted it, even though she didn't have to, for she didn't need such thing as an instrunt. She accepted it, and I couldn't believe it. I wondered what I did to deserve such a blessed life to be an instrunt of a god.
To be honest, we had known each other since she was three years old, and now she was fifty years old while I was seventy-seven. But because of unlocking the hidden potential in my body, I was still a middle-aged man. So, even though we hadn't had contact with each other since the day she had awakened the world, I wasn't a complete stranger, and she must have had her reasons for accepting .
After she accepted my musical rune, I uncontrollably floated before her, and then our will started to intertwine, and my body shifted into a glowing black piano.
My perception shifted, and I was now perceiving the world sowhat similarly to how the saint did.
And to my wonder, I was seeing sounds; the entire world was in the form of glowing musical notes and vibrations, from the smallest dust blowing in the wind to the largest mountains in the distance, even the creatures.
It was also at this mont that I realized sothing that saddened deeply: the saint's entire existence was only composed of two desires, one to weave srizing sounds and the other for those sounds to be heard by an audience.
Only these two desires, nothing more, nothing less no love, no hate, no greed, no envy, no lust, no fear, etc. It saddened because I knew she would never be able to live and enjoy life the way it was ant to be.
Everything she had done in her life was because of these two desires from her joining my competition that fateful day, to her stopping all wars, to her uniting all species, to pushing the entire world onto the path of evolution, and finally to her creating the instrunt ability.
That was all because she needed an audience to listen to her play.
All of those goals accomplished two things: stopping unnecessary loss of life and extending life. For the more creatures that are alive, the more audience she has.
I buried all those thoughts in my mind and anticipated her wielding , but I was certain that she knew my thoughts because of her words,
"Theodore, I am happy!"
She said with a smile on her face, I truly felt her happiness. But I later knew the reason for her happiness was that she had finally gained an instrunt that she could wield with all her might to weave even more beautiful lodies.
She then raised a single finger and struck a key of my body. I felt as if my soul was being massaged, and,
🎼DING!
The most beautiful sound I had ever heard rang out; it enveloped every creature in a vibrant illusion…
And hundreds of years passed, and the saint did sothing that was unimaginable to at that ti, she turned the entire continental world into a moving ship that soared through the starry sky, akin to a ship in the ocean only this one used music for propulsion.
VASH!
