In the official discussion forum for Sekiro, Bart noticed a post that had been consistently staying at the top of the page.

This post wasn't pinned by the moderators, but rather it had stayed at the top purely due to a continuous stream of user comnts.

The title of the post was: "I seriously doubt that the developnt team of Sekiro tested the ga after they finished it. How many of them can actually finish the ga? It's still unknown!"

Bart wasn't very interested in such posts at first, because they were probably just filled with people agreeing with the post's author, offering no real substance.

He entered the Sekiro discussion forum hoping to find more aningful content.

For instance, he was curious whether the official team would step in and apologize, promising to lower the ga's difficulty.

Maybe even a classic Japanese bow as part of the apology.

Aren't the Japanese known for their 90-degree bow when apologizing?

...

...

There were even rumors that so Japanese people kneel to apologize when they make a mistake.

But apologizing is one thing; whether they can make changes is another.

However, Bart didn't find such official announcents.

Instead, the pinned post was still about gathering bug reports for the ga.

When players reported serious bugs in the ga, they could potentially receive so rewards from the official team. Sotis, these were physical rewards, and other tis they were exclusive digital rewards.

Bart didn't understand much about bug reports, so he didn't bother with the pinned post.

After browsing through the first few hundred posts in the forum for over ten minutes, he realized that most of them were rather pointless. Eventually, he couldn't resist and clicked on the post that had been constantly updating on the hopage.

As expected, many users were agreeing with the original post, saying that the developers probably hadn't even played through the ga, and they doubted if any of them could actually finish it.

Even the ga's revered creator, Takayuki, was also suspected to have trouble finishing the ga.

Bart glanced through all the replies and imdiately felt bored.

Does it really matter if the developers can finish the ga?

It's not important, right? Gas are ant for players, and developers are just working on them. If they can't finish it, so what?

Still, deep down, Bart felt a little convinced by what so of them were saying.

Just as he was thinking about this, he noticed so new replies in the thread.

The nas of these new users were in a distinct red font.

In Gastar Electronics Entertainnt's official forum, there are several different user levels.

These levels are reflected in different font colors depending on the stage.

Red is special. It indicates an official user of Gastar Electronics Entertainnt.

An official user had replied!

Bart's interest was piqued.

Takayuki from the 10th Developnt Departnt, Art Group: "Players, I know you're disappointed with Sekiro, but the statent in this post that we, the developers, haven't even played through the ga is incorrect. How do you know we can't finish the ga?"

Davidson Duke from the 10th Developnt Departnt, Programming Group: "Players, what I can say about Sekiro is that it is an excellent ga, and the difficulty setting is one of the core aspects of its gaplay. We believe that without this level of difficulty, the ga would lose a lot of its soul. If possible, I highly recomnd that you continue playing for a while longer. Stick with it a little more."

Not long after, players began replying to the official posts.

Reply to Takayuki: "This isn't sothing I'm saying lightly. I'm one of the players who didn't refund. I've been playing for over ten hours, but I've died at least twenty or thirty tis to the Butterfly Lady boss. Do you know how I've spent these ten hours? I've played over a thousand hours of Monster Hunter: World, but I still can't beat this one boss. Forget the other bosses, just this Butterfly Lady – I don't believe there are many players who can get past her!"

"Upstairs, if you can't beat the Butterfly Lady, it ans you're too bad at the ga. I beat her easily. I actually think the ga is pretty good; it just requires patience."

"Hey, hey, hey, upstairs, are you an official shill? You say those bosses aren't hard? Co on, tell , have you even finished the ga?"

Reply to Davidson: "You want us to keep playing this ga? Probably just so we won't be able to refund after the two-hour limit, huh? I won't believe your nonsense unless you can show proof that you've beaten every boss!"

The thread quickly beca more heated, with the discussions turning into a ss.

Bart was actually enjoying reading it.

This was far more interesting than the ga itself.

Watching the official team argue with the players was fun.

It would be even more interesting if there were more debates like this.

"Where's the official response? Aren't they going to reply?"

"They probably only dared to say a few words and then ran off. They can't prove anything."

Davidson: "What exactly would you like us to prove?"

"Eh? The official replied again?"

Reply to Davidson: "Simple. Stream it on Facebook. We'll go watch your live stream, and we just want to see how you can finish Sekiro!"

Davidson: "Alright, I'll start a live stream. You can join us on the official Gastar Electronics Entertainnt account. We're about to go live. At least I should prove that our 10th Developnt Departnt can finish the ga we created, and I can also show you the true appeal of this ga."

By this point, Bart had beco even more interested in Sekiro.

Of course, it was purely the curiosity of a bystander.

Well, since he was bored, why not watch the live stream?

It wasn't hard to find Gastar Electronics Entertainnt's official Facebook account; Bart had already followed it.

He quickly found the live stream page on their account.

At that mont, the live stream had already started.

It was a multi-angle live stream.

How... did it feel like they had already prepared everything ahead of ti?

Bart suddenly had this feeling.

Maybe because the post had been pinned for so long, they had planned this to prove sothing?

Honestly, Bart was really curious to see where the real fun of the ga lies.

Why would they say that the difficulty is a core part of the gaplay?

If the officials dared to say that, then they should prove it, or else Bart definitely wouldn't believe their words.

"Hello everyone, I'm Davidson, an employee of the 10th Developnt Departnt, Art Group."
