But she never expected Takayuki would ask her for help finding a manga artist.
Takayuki could look for one himself, but he probably wouldn't find a suitable one in the short term.
As a painter herself, Takayushi might not be in the sa field, but she would definitely be more reliable than anyone Takayuki could find.
"Mother, I'm doing so small business now and need so help with drawing promotional art."

Moreover, those sowhat renowned traditional artists, even if they were his mother's contacts, would never agree to work for him long-term.
Those artists might not even be willing to take on such troubleso tasks even if they were paid; they would feel it beneath them.
On the other hand, so manga artists, as long as they were paid enough, wouldn't refuse.
Manga artists tended to be more comrcialized.
And Dragon Quest was originally drawn by a well-known manga artist; Takayuki didn't plan to change that.
