The longer Porsccer survived, the more excited the audience beca.

At that very mont, Dorothy slipped into the house where Porsccer was hiding.

Porsccer’s heart instantly jumped into his throat.

Still, he forced himself to sound calm.

"It’s fine. We’ll just ambush this person like before. I’ll definitely survive."

"Strear, you’re way too sneaky—still thinking about ambushing people. Where’s your big-strear pride?"

Porsccer clearly didn’t care about the chat anymore.

All he could think about was how to take out the intruder.

He heard Dorothy’s footsteps downstairs, running around as if she were searching for sothing.

But after a short while, her footsteps suddenly vanished.

Porsccer grew nervous.

"Did they leave?"

The viewers were staring at the screen without blinking.

The atmosphere was so tense you could hear a pin drop.

Then—

A shadow suddenly appeared at the attic stairway.

Porsccer instinctively raised his weapon, about to fire.

But what ca flying up wasn’t a person.

It was a round object.

The sphere traced a beautiful arc through the air and landed near Porsccer.

"Oh no! A grenade!"

Porsccer shouted and tried to run—but it was already too late.

The grenade exploded.

But instead of dealing damage, it triggered... a dance.

The Porsccer character, who had been about to flee, suddenly began dancing wildly in place.

"What’s going on? What the hell is happening?!"

Porsccer had no idea what was happening.

He didn’t know why his character had completely lost control and started dancing.

And at that very mont, Dorothy appeared from the attic stairs.

Porsccer’s character continued dancing uncontrollably, completely unable to fight back.

Without hesitation, Dorothy pulled the trigger and eliminated Porsccer, who had survived for so long.

There were now eight players left in the match.

Porsccer stared blankly at the Eliminated screen.

"There we go—Porsccer finally got taken out. Satisfied now?"

"Haha, honestly it’s already impressive that Porsccer survived this long. He’s usually terrible at gas. Making it into the top ten is already rare for him."

"That player nad Dorothy is pretty good. She clearly used so kind of item to beat Porsccer. Everyone just started playing this ga, yet she already figured out the items so fast."

"That’s the difference between soone who prepares and soone who doesn’t. Porsccer was obviously totally unprepared."

The audience mocked Porsccer rcilessly, sparing him no dignity at all.

At the sa ti, so viewers started getting curious about who this "Dorothy" actually was.

"Guys, I found her! Dorothy’s also a Facebook strear—let’s go to her channel!"

"Yeah, this stream’s boring now anyway. Let’s go check hers out."

A crowd of curious viewers scattered and rushed into Dorothy’s livestream.

However, they didn’t get to watch for long.

Just a few minutes after they arrived, Dorothy was taken out by repeated hits from a long-range sniper rifle.

Latecors only saw Dorothy’s Eliminated screen.

The strear who killed her was a well-known Titanfall player from the gaming category.

He was extrely familiar with this type of ga—sharp aim alone was enough to eliminate most opponents.

"Huh? She got eliminated that fast?"

"That’s normal. Look at how small the final safe zone was. Anyone still alive besides Porsccer had to be really skilled. The fact that Dorothy lasted that long is already impressive."

"Oh? It’s actually a girl? When I saw the na earlier, I thought it was so dude pretending to be a female character."

"She’s kinda cute. Why haven’t I seen her in the gaming category before?"

"Because she used to be a dance strear."

"Ohhh, that explains it. Dancing’s kinda boring anyway. Dorothy, how about switching to the gaming category?"

Dorothy was still imrsed in the shock of being eliminated.

She hadn’t quite accepted it yet.

Her gear had been so good—she felt like she should’ve survived much longer.

That sniper’s aim really had been insane.

She barely had ti to react before getting taken out.

She’d already known she might not win the match...

But losing when she was so close to first place felt especially painful.

So Dorothy didn’t bother looking at her chat much.

She imdiately queued up for the next ga.

She was clearly getting a bit hooked.

She loved the thrill of looting everywhere, the rush of taking resources from others.

She was starting to genuinely like this ga.

The ga’s cartoon art style greatly reduced the sense of violence and gore.

It made the experience just right for a girl like Dorothy.

It was also suitable for most viewers.

There was no blood at all—even kids could safely watch the stream.

That massively expanded the potential audience.

And while the cartoon style might not imdiately appeal to all adults, it was perfect for teenagers.

In Australia, a thirteen-year-old boy watched Dorothy get eliminated.

He imdiately closed the livestream and opened the Battle platform, searching for Fortnite.

The ga was completely free.

You only had to spend money if you wanted costic items.

If you wanted to play forever for free, there was no barrier at all.

For a teenager, this was perfect.

No extra money required, tons of fun—what could be better?

After Dorothy got eliminated, the kid couldn’t wait to try the ga himself.

It wasn’t that the ga looked unbelievably fun at first glance.

The core gaplay didn’t seem revolutionary.

But the step-by-step progression, the constant scavenging, the mix of luck and skill—

All of that made it possible even for kids like him to perform well.

And while first place gave the best rewards, every rank earned so in-ga currency and experience.

Even the last-place player could still get rewards early on.

So no matter how bad you were, you could still have fun.

The first match ended five minutes after Dorothy was eliminated.

The winner was the moderately well-known Titanfall strear.

When the victory screen appeared, he felt a strange sense of accomplishnt.

After all, he had beaten ninety-nine other players to claim first place.

That was far more thrilling than the team fights or free-for-alls in Titanfall.

Yet even then, he didn’t linger on his victory.

Like the other eliminated players, he imdiately queued for another match.

He wanted to win again.
