"You are stupid already," i shot back, crossing her arms defiantly.

"Stupid people know each other!" Lian retorted, a playful glint in her eye.

"Grandpa! She called stupid!" i yelled, already gearing up for another playful argunt.

"Don’t you dare play the victim. You called stupid first!" Lian countered, sticking her tongue out.

Inside the room, as the banter drifted through the walls, Xiang Yu turned to Han Xin, his voice barely above a whisper, "Are you ready?"

"Always," Han Xin replied, his eyes locked on Xiang Yu’s, filled with intent. He wrapped his arms around Xiang Yu’s waist, pulling him closer, their foreheads almost touching. Then, he planted a gentle kiss on Xiang Yu’s lips, savouring the mont.

"Wait for to get back... I won’t be long," Han Xin said softly, breaking the kiss and looking into Xiang Yu’s deep eyes.

"Okay, I will wait for you," Xiang Yu promised, his voice steady and warm.

The two of them finally stepped out of the room, only to find Lian and i locked in a tussle. Han Xin glanced at Xiang Yu, a question lodged in his gaze, silently asking if he was going to intervene. Han Xin looked like a fun dad, one who had never quite disciplined his kids.

"What are you looking at for?" Xiang Yu shot back, a hint of amusent in his voice.

Han Xin nodded towards Han Zhan, gesturing for him to pull the two apart. Han Zhan shook his head, a clear "no" that communicated his reluctance. He looked as though he wanted to avoid becoming collateral damage.

Xiang Yu, however, decided to intervene. He squared his shoulders and spoke in a surprisingly stern voice, "Whoever lets go last won’t have ice cream today!"

The threat hung in the air, and both Lian and i froze mid-battle. Slowly, they released one another, eyes wide with mock horror at Xiang Yu’s declaration.

Han Xin chuckled, ward by the playful tension, as he watched Xiang Yu taking charge of the situation like he had been doing it all his life.

The hangar fell into a tense silence, a collective breath held among the spectators. Lian and i stood across from each other, small smudges of dirt and sweat marking their cheeks.

They pointed at one another, quick and accusatory. "She let go last," they said simultaneously their mont of rivalry evaporating into the charged air.

The last remnants of their argunt faded as they beca aware of the gaze of everyone around them. Grandpa Wu was surprised. Who would have thought that would work and they would listen to Xiang Yu?

"Go fix your hair," he instructed the girls, pointing at their ssy strands.

Lian and i instinctively ran their fingers through their hair, feeling a surge of embarrassnt course through them. They dashed off towards a nearby bathroom, the sound of their footsteps echoing off the tal walls.

Xiang Yu turned to Han Xin but found the atmosphere electric with unspoken words. All eyes were on him, curious and slightly awed. He raised an eyebrow, seeking to break the stillness. "What?" he asked, the question lingering like a drop of water in still air.

Han Zhan cleared his throat, a deep sound that pulled the rcenaries’ attention montarily but failed to distract them entirely. They resud their tasks, stealing glances at Xiang Yu, interest bubbling just beneath the surface.

They walked towards Han Xin’s ch that lood large at the rear of the hangar. It was like a tallic sentinel ready for battle.

Suddenly, Han Xin stepped forward, closing the distance between him and Xiang Yu. He lowered his head and pressed a kiss to Xiang Yu’s lips, a brief mont that felt like an eternity. "I won’t be long," he promised, his voice low and smooth.

"Don’t be rciful," Xiang Yu replied, a note of seriousness threading through his words. Han Xin smiled, his eyes alight with resolve as he ascended into the cockpit. The hatch was sealed with a resonant thud, a sound that reverberated through the silence like a heartbeat.

As the ch powered up, a low hum vibrated through the hangar, each pulse echoing the rhythm of Xiang Yu’s anxious heart. He knew Han Xin would put Sirius in his place so he wasn’t worried about that. He was just unhappy about being separated from Han Xin so soon even if it was only for a few minutes.

He watched, entranced, as Han Xin manoeuvred the massive machine, displaying grace and confidence that made Xiang Yu’s heart swell.

"Hey," Han Zhan interrupted the mont, his voice a steady anchor, "he will be back soon. If you’d like, you can go witness the fight."

Xiang Yu’s eyes lit up. He could hardly contain his eagerness. "Sure, let’s go!" he replied. If Han Zhan only knew how furious Han Xin would be once he discovered Xiang Yu was there, he might have thought twice before extending the invitation.
