"What?" Xu Xingran exclaid in shock upon hearing these words.

"That young man's Techniques are unique; he must possess so real skills. However, this is the Santai Sect; even if he were a dragon, he would have to coil up for , and if a tiger, lay down! It's not his place to strut around and do as he pleases in front of us!" Su Boli said, his face dark with anger.

"Exactly! This is the Santai Sect. Even Fan Hong wouldn't dare to make a move without a legitimate reason," Xu Xingran quickly regained his composure, his face just as dark, and his eyes cold.

While they were talking, five disciples of the Santai Sect approached, each at the Second or Third Layer of Qi Cultivation, their aura bristling with sharpness.

"Sect Leader, Uncle-Master," the five disciples approached the two n and bowed respectfully.

Su Boli nodded and said, "Follow ."

After speaking, Su Boli, with a grim face, headed toward the lakeside villas where the Special Ability Managent Bureau had settled.

The five Santai Sect mbers exchanged glances and then hurriedly followed.

Under the night sky, lotus-shaped street lights intermittently illuminated the lakeside cobblestone path with a clear, ancient, and serene light.

But the faces of Su Boli, Yan Ziyi, and the others under the light appeared particularly grim, like predators erging from their dens to hunt in the night.

In the lakeside villas, lights were on here and there; so people were sparring in the courtyards, others were drinking wine and laughing under the moon on their terraces, and even more were chatting as they strolled along the cobblestone path by the lake.

Villa number sixteen was also lit, yet unusually quiet.

An old man in traditional Chinese clothing sat cross-legged on the grass, motionless.

Suddenly, the old man—the one called Yang Yinhou—opened his eyes sharply, and despite his age, his gaze was exceptionally bright under the night sky, radiating a cold fierceness.

"What are you doing here? Please leave this place for now. My junior brother is ditating in quietude," Yang Yinhou stood up, walked to the courtyard gate of the villa, and stopped Su Boli and the others who were about to enter.

"Daoist Yang, we are here precisely because we have matters to discuss with your junior brother," Su Boli said in a cold voice, his rage so fervent that he could barely muster the respect to address his senior.

"Whatever it is, we will discuss it after my junior brother has finished his ditation," Yang Yinhou, discerning Su Boli and his group's intent to trouble Ge Dongxu, said with an icy face.

"No, I must see your junior brother now and have him co with us," Su Boli said adamantly.

"Let's not beat around the bush. What do you want with my junior brother? If it's sothing I can handle, let take care of it," Yang Yinhou, seeing Su Boli's unyielding stance, didn't bother to mince words and got straight to the point.

"This isn't sothing you can take care of. I need Ge Dongxu to give an explanation!" Su Boli said coldly, then with a wave of his hand commanded, "Go, bring Ge Dongxu out to ."

As Su Boli's voice faded, the five Santai Sect disciples behind him, their eyes flashing with determination, stamped their feet on the ground and leaped up, preparing to jump over the neatly trimd red-leafed berberis fence.

Yang Yinhou hadn't expected the host Su Boli to resort to forcing his way in and nabbing soone after exchanging just a few words. He was montarily taken aback, which was quickly followed by intense fury. A sharp chill flashed in his eyes as he let out an intentionally suppressed, icy shout: "How dare you!"

In the midst of the shout, Yang Yinhou's palm flipped, and he produced a Jade Talisman, emitting such a lush green light under the lamplight it seed as if droplets of water would fall from it.

Clutching the Jade Talisman, he continuously ford spells.

A powerful aura burst forth from Yang Yinhou's body, thick with the scent of Blood Fiend Qi.

In the light of the night, Yang Yinhou's robes fluttered, his white hair danced wildly, and although he should have looked like a kind and benevolent old man, he now felt like a war general who had killed countless people.

Su Boli, Xu Xingran, and Yan Ziyi felt a chill rise up their spines and suddenly realized that this old man was not as simple as his obscure reputation suggested!

The aura enveloping him was that of soone who had risen from piles of dead, soone who had survived nurous life-and-death battles!

"Be careful!" In their fear, Su Boli, Xu Xingran, and Yan Ziyi did not hesitate, and instantly, each flipped over their palms and held a new Jade Talisman in their hands.

Then, clutching the Jade Talismans, they ford spells rapidly.

The originally cool and pleasant mountain breeze suddenly beca violent.

The wind, and nature's spiritual energy swept up from all directions.

In the darkness, two swords forged of Geng tal Qi ford and floated in front of Su Boli and Xu Xingran, while a black serpent made up of Water Spirit Qi coiled in front of Yan Ziyi, flickering its crimson tongue.

Just as the Geng tal Swords and the Water Spirit Serpent had taken shape, the grass on the ground suddenly danced wildly like a throng of serpents; swiftly, blades of grass shot out, turning into Green Vines that ensnared the five Santai Sect disciples who had just jumped over the fence made of red-leaf littleleaf boxwoods.

The five, whose realms were all at the Second or Third Layer of Qi Cultivation and were also sect-raised warriors adept in combat from the Santai Sect, couldn't dodge in ti. Their bodies tensed up, and then with a series of thuds, they all fell to the ground.

Almost at the sa ti, the neatly pruned red-leaf littleleaf boxwoods also began to grow wildly, sprouting large branches and lashing out towards Su Boli, Xu Xingran, and Yan Ziyi.

And at that mont, Su Boli and the others had only just finished forming their Dharma Talismans and hadn't even had the chance to activate them for attack.

Seeing the large branches swooshing towards them, Su Boli and the rest, being cultivators at the Fourth Layer of Qi Cultivation, reacted quickly despite their alarming situation. Their faces changed drastically, and they inwardly cried out in alarm, not having ti to activate their Dharma Talismans as they fiercely stomped on the ground and flew back in retreat.

"Smack! Smack!" Among the three, only Su Boli, with his extre speed, narrowly avoided the branches' strikes, while the other two, Xu Xingran and Yan Ziyi, weren't so lucky. Despite retreating rapidly, they were still hit in the back by the tips of the branches, staggered, and nearly fell face-down on the ground.

"Huff, huff, huff!" Su Boli, who had narrowly escaped, stood about ten ters from the entrance of the courtyard, gasping for air with an expression of lingering fear in his eyes while his back was already soaked with cold sweat.

No one expected this seemingly insignificant old man to be so formidable.

Once his spell was activated, not only did he capture all five of the intruding disciples, but he also managed to act a step ahead of them and launch an attack.

Little did they know that in the jungles of Myanmar, this old man had once single-handedly killed a total of one hundred and twenty-four fully ard Japanese soldiers!

If they were still standing and breathing easily now, it was only because Yang Yinhou had not harbored any intent to kill and was also afraid that too much commotion might alert Ge Dongxu. Otherwise, they wouldn't have had the chance to be standing ten ters away catching their breath.

After all, the old man was a genuine powerhouse who had erged from life-and-death struggles, a far cry from ordinary magicians. Could an Olympic shooting champion, despite being a sharpshooter, ever compare to a sniper who has truly been through the crucible of life and death?

Once the old man made his move to kill, his thods were fierce and his actions swift, beyond anything these people could imagine!
