When Chu Ge interrupted, the driver realized they had already arrived at the Roman Holiday Nightclub. He chuckled awkwardly and quickly stopped the car.

However, neither Ji Songtao nor Feifei and Mo Xiaoran showed any intention of getting out. They eagerly waited for the driver to continue his story.

Chu Ge was left speechless. He had no choice but to hand the fare to the driver with one hand and pat Ji Songtao on the shoulder with the other, "Minister Ji, it's ti for us to get off."

With Chu Ge's nudge, Ji Songtao quickly understood. Clearly, Chu Ge didn't want the driver to finish his story, which only made Ji Songtao admire Chu Ge even more.

Not to ntion others, even if it were Ji Songtao himself, if he did sothing noteworthy, he'd wish the whole world knew about it. But not Chu Ge. He was willing to pass up such a golden opportunity to show off in front of two beautiful won. How incredibly carefree and unfettered!

Although he wanted to hear more of the driver's story, since Chu Ge said so, Ji Songtao complied and got out of the car.

Unfortunately, Ji Songtao got out, but Feifei was captivated and urged, "Handso guy, what happened next? Go on, tell us!"

"Then, a heavy truck ca charging directly at the maniac. Forget about the truck driver, who was scared out of his wits—even my mind went blank in that instant! I was thinking, well, if this madman wants to bring about his own doom, there's no way out this ti, right? The situation was absolutely hopeless, with death appearing imminent and unavoidable!"

The driver animatedly continued, his tone brimming with admiration and excitent, having no idea the so-called 'maniac' was sitting right in the back, filled with helplessness and regret about catching this particular cab.

If not for the desperation back then, Chu Ge wouldn't have revealed his ability. After all, he preferred to live a low-key, easygoing life, rather than being treated like a superhero.

However, given the current situation, Chu Ge was at a loss. He couldn't just throw Feifei and Mo Xiaoran out of the car, so he decided to let the driver satisfy Feifei's curiosity.

Just as Chu Ge was feeling quite awkward, a passerby knocked on the car window and asked, "Hey, driver, are you going?"

Chu Ge felt a sense of relief; this person showed up just in ti to help him out of a sticky situation.

"Feifei, Xiaoran, let's not hold up the driver's work. We should get out," Chu Ge seized the opportunity to say.

"It's fine, it won't take long."

To Chu Ge's surprise, the taxi driver grinned and told the person by the car door, "Can you wait a bit? I'll leave after finishing a few words with these folks."

"I'm in a rush, can you go right now?"

"No can do. If you're in a hurry, try finding another cab."

"What's wrong with you? I've never seen a taxi driver like this."

The would-be passenger grumbled begrudgingly and walked off. The taxi driver, unaffected, turned back to Feifei and scratched his head, "So, where was I?"

Feifei quickly replied, "A truck ca charging, no way to escape, death seed inevitable, it was a hopeless situation."

"Yes, yes, yes, and then... you wouldn't believe..."

The driver was about to continue when soone tapped on the window again.

The driver, at the peak of his tale, got interrupted again and couldn't help feeling annoyed. Without turning around, he said, "Not taking them! Find another car!"

"Are you crazy?"

Lu Gang cast a baffled glance at the driver, then turned his attention to the back, "Hey big brother, sister Feifei, Xiaoran, we've arrived, let's go?"

Seeing Lu Gang approaching, Feifei glanced outside through the window and realized everyone else had already arrived and were waiting for the three of them. She couldn't help but chuckle sheepishly before opening the car door.

Chu Ge sighed in relief, finding Lu Gang quite pleasant for the first ti. That guy had shown up at just the right mont.

As Feifei got out, Mo Xiaoran felt even more awkward about making her colleagues wait, so she quickly opened the door and stepped out too.

With the two ladies off, the driver felt exasperated. After gearing up his story for so long, he finally reached the climax, only for the audience to leave suddenly. The frustration was overwhelming.

"Hey, ladies, don't leave! I haven't finished talking! Don't you want to know what happened next?"

Feifei turned back to the taxi driver, smiling, "Of course we do, but we can figure it out without you saying it."

"Huh?"

Looking at Feifei's back, the driver was stunned for a few seconds and leaned over to ask, "Beauty, what do you an by that?"

Under the taxi driver's bewildered gaze, Feifei turned around and giggled, then took Chu Ge's arm.

"He is the lunatic you ntioned. Why don't I just ask him directly? Haha! Bye-bye!"

As Feifei coquettishly said this, people from Tianjiao Film and Television cast puzzled glances, while the taxi driver was completely dumbfounded on the spot. Chu Ge, feeling speechless, quickened his pace.

By the ti the taxi driver snapped out of his daze and realized that the figure looked exactly like the lunatic from earlier in the day, Chu Ge had already led the way into the entrance of the Roman Holiday.

In Lidu City, if Papas Grand Hotel is the pinnacle of the hotel industry, then the Roman Holiday Nightclub, which integrates bathing, leisure, entertainnt, fitness, and a business center, represents a hedonistic paradise of flashing lights and booming music.

This is a nine-story gothic-style arch building, and under the golden lighting, it resembles a magnificent palace. The various luxury cars at the entrance are on par with those at the Papas Grand Hotel.

Even though Tianjiao Film and Television's benefits are quite decent, so people are setting foot in Roman Holiday for the first ti. Even in their relatively high-class attire, as they step onto the soft, comfortable long red carpet in the first-floor lobby and receive the attention of the receptionists on both sides, they subconsciously feel a bit uneasy, as if entirely out of place.

Chu Ge walked at the forefront, though wearing a casual outfit costing less than two hundred yuan, seeming utterly out of place amid the surrounding opulence. Yet his face remained calm and composed, without a hint of nervousness, as if this weren't a den of debauchery but a bustling vegetable market instead.

Walking straight to the crystal bar that looked luxurious, Chu Ge casually asked, "Hello, my na is Chu Ge. Did anyone reserve a private room for ?"

As soon as the bartender heard Chu Ge's na, she who seed sowhat inattentive suddenly stood up, first crossing her hands over her stomach and bowing deeply before speaking a bit awkwardly, "Hello, Mr. Chu, are you a friend of Young Master Jiang?"

Chu Ge was speechless; it was the sa thing earlier at Shangpin Barbecue, and now this again. He simply shook his head, "No."

Upon hearing Chu Ge's denial, the bartender imdiately displayed a troubled expression.

It's not her fault for being so cautious; after all, Young Master Jiang himself instructed this matter, and he emphasized it several tis. How could she dare to slack off in the slightest?

However, what's giving her a headache is that Young Master Jiang only emphasized the na "Chu Ge" several tis, without describing what this Chu Ge actually looks like. How is she supposed to know if this Chu Ge is the one Young Master Jiang ntioned?

Though the na Chu Ge isn't very common, what if a mix-up happens with soone of the sa na, causing a misunderstanding? She knows without a doubt that by then, she'll be in big trouble — losing her job would be the least of her worries!

While the front desk bartender was at a loss, having been waiting on the side for quite a while, the lobby manager, who also felt uneasy hearing this, walked over.

"Mr. Chu, please wait a mont."

Amused, Chu Ge nodded, lit a cigarette, and sat on a sofa on the side to wait.

Although the lobby manager thought that this poorly dressed fellow was probably not the Chu Ge he was waiting for, to be on the safe side, he still nodded politely to Chu Ge, then walked aside to call Young Master Jiang.

As the lobby manager stepped aside, Ji Songtao and others felt very uncertain, with so even beginning to regret joining in this excitent on a whim.

Chu Ge had made it quite clear that he didn't know Young Master Jiang. What if they unwittingly offended Young Master Jiang, stirred up so trouble, and got themselves in hot water — wouldn't that be unfortunate?

Contrary to a few people's unease, Pan Changqing was in an exceptionally good mood right now.

He wasn't worried about getting into trouble at all. In his view, soone as significant as Young Master Jiang wouldn't be bothered to concern himself with them.

But as for Chu Ge... that might be different! Even if he doesn't get thrashed, at least he'll make a huge fool of himself!

While so were hesitating whether to find an excuse to leave and Pan Changqing was fantasizing about Chu Ge facing embarrassnt, the lobby manager had finished his call and almost sprinted back to Chu Ge.

"Mr. Chu, I apologize sincerely for the slight earlier; please don't take it to heart. If our service was unsatisfactory, I ask for your understanding,"

If earlier the lobby manager's attitude was rely courteous, now it was overflowing with fervent respect, even with a hint of flattery.

"Huh?"

Now, Pan Changqing was completely baffled.

Seeing the lobby manager bowing and scraping toward Chu Ge, not only was Pan Changqing dumbfounded, but everyone else's gaze turned as strange as can be, filled with countless questions.

As for the lobby manager's attitude, Chu Ge didn't think much of it; he just nodded casually,

To him, no matter what's going on, as soon as he sees this so-called Young Master Jiang, everything will beco clear.
