The lobby manager's question instantly puzzled Ji Songtao. He was baffled as to why the lobby manager was looking for Chu Ge when he was the one paying the bill.

While Ji Songtao was in a daze, Chu Ge smiled at the lobby manager, "That's , is there sothing you need?"

Looking at Chu Ge, the lobby manager's eyes also flashed with surprise. He had thought Chu Ge would be a young man wearing fine clothes, with an arrogant deanor. Little did he expect him to be dressed so casually and simply.

However, despite the surprise, the lobby manager quickly composed himself, showing an even more respectful and humble deanor than before, bowing ninety degrees to Chu Ge.

This ti, not only was Ji Songtao confused, but Chu Ge was also left sowhat bewildered by the lobby manager's actions, and others started glancing over at Chu Ge with puzzled and uncertain looks.

"Wh-what? Is it that there's not enough money? No, no worries, your brother Pan has money, your brother Pan can lend you so."

Pan Changqing was the last to co down the stairs and happened to see Chu Ge standing opposite the lobby manager with a strange look on his face. Unable to hold back a hiccup from the alcohol, he swaggered over proudly.

"H-how much money? I-I'll settle it for him. After paying up, le-let's continue to have fun. I'll host the night...nightclub."

I must say, to be a lobby manager in such a place requires quite a high level of professionalism. Even though he thought Pan Changqing's behavior was sowhat ridiculous, he maintained a respectful look toward Chu Ge, explaining Chu Ge's inquiry.

"Mr. Chu, it's like this: Young Master Jiang has already paid the bill for your table."

Upon hearing this, Feifei and the others couldn't help but look at each other, glancing at Chu Ge with even more confusion.

Chu Ge still seed at a loss, smiling as he said, "You must be mistaken, I don't know any Young Master Jiang."

The lobby manager seed taken aback by Chu Ge's response but hesitated a mont before continuing, "It's Liu Weijiang, Young Master Liu."

Chu Ge shook his head again, saying decisively, "I don't know him."

Just as Chu Ge was shaking his head, Ji Songtao suddenly froze, his eyes widening as he asked the lobby manager in a very uncertain tone, "Who...did you just say?"

Not only was Ji Songtao startled, but Pan Changqing, who had been eager to speak, was also dumbfounded, his body jolting, and the effects of the alcohol suddenly dissipating halfway.

The lobby manager looked at Chu Ge and then at Ji Songtao, also bewildered by their reactions. Nevertheless, he was sure that he hadn't misrembered Young Master Jiang's orders, and the bill had indeed been settled, so he didn't bother to dwell on it any longer and turned his attention back to Chu Ge.

"Mr. Chu, Young Master Jiang has indeed paid your bill and asked to pass on a ssage. He has reserved a room for you and your friends at the Roman Holiday Nightclub and hopes you will honor him with your presence, wishing you a good ti."

After speaking, the lobby manager nodded slightly and left with a belly full of curiosity.

Watching the lobby manager's retreating figure, Chu Ge touched his nose, finding the situation sowhat amusing from the bottom of his heart. Where did this Young Master Jiang co from, being so nice to not only cover his large bill but also invite him to the nightclub for fun?

As the lobby manager walked a little further away, Chu Ge turned around and couldn't help but pause again.

Behind him, whether it was Ji Songtao, Pan Changqing, or the other attendees at the celebration banquet, they all seed to have coordinated their reactions, each wearing a stunned expression as if they'd seen a ghost.

"What's going on here? As handso as I am, there's no need to stare at like this, right?"

No one responded, as if they hadn't heard what he said, maintaining those strange expressions as if petrified.

Chu Ge was even more speechless. Judging by everyone's deanor, it was clear this Young Master Jiang had so significant background, but he genuinely didn't know who this Young Master Jiang was. What was this all about? It was utterly baffling, wasn't it?

"Mr. Ji, shall we go? Didn't that Young Master Jiang say he reserved a room at the Roman Holiday? Let's go take a look; there's still ti, and we can repay him for this al."

Patting Ji Songtao on the shoulder, Ji Songtao finally snapped out of it with a start.

"Chu Ge, you...really don't know Young Master Jiang?"

Seeing Ji Songtao still reacting that way, Chu Ge felt helpless yet amused, shaking his head decisively, "I really don't know him, this person must have gotten it wrong, let's go."

"Oh..."

Ji Songtao wiped the sweat that had unknowingly appeared on his forehead, called out to the still-dazed group, and followed in Chu Ge's footsteps.

Chu Ge didn't know any Young Master Jiang, but Ji Songtao, along with these people from Tianjiao Film and Television, were not unfamiliar with this na at all.

After all, this Young Master Jiang was the son of the director of the City Industry and Comrce Bureau, quite the flashy, high-profile second-generation official in Lidu City with many tales about him.

The most representative thing about him was his car, a yellow and black, extrely flashy Bumblebee.

After leaving the doors of Shangpin Barbecue, everyone got into a cab; not a single person made an excuse to go ho early. It wasn't that they all liked going to nightclubs, it was just that they found the situation too bizarre and wanted to see what was really going on.

Especially Pan Changqing, he found it a million tis unbelievable that a small figure like Chu Ge could even remotely cross paths with Young Master Jiang.

Although he had never spoken to Young Master Jiang, because his father worked at the Industry and Comrce Bureau, he occasionally ran into Young Master Jiang and often heard stories about him from his father, so he knew a little sothing about Young Master Jiang.

In Young Master Jiang's circle, besides various beauties, all the people were either rich or powerful. Saying he'd foot the bill for Chu Ge and take him out to have fun—wasn't that nonsense?

In the leading cab, Ji Songtao sat in the front passenger seat, while Chu Ge sat in the middle of the back seat, with Feifei and Mo Xiaoran on either side of him.

It wasn't that Chu Ge deliberately wanted to sit there; it was just that Ji Songtao was big, and as a leader, it wouldn't be right for him to squeeze in the back. Feifei and Mo Xiaoran liked sitting by the windows, so Chu Ge was left with the middle seat in the back.

Both Mo Xiaoran and Feifei were girls who loved cleanliness and had especially taken showers before going out, exuding a faint, pleasant fragrance. Feifei on Chu Ge's left had the scent of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, while Mo Xiaoran on his right had a very pure and subtle elegant body scent.

Originally, the fragrance was already very pleasant, and with the bit of alcohol they had drunk, their refreshing scent carried a hint of subtle alcohol.

Even Ji Songtao, sitting in the front passenger seat, couldn't help but feel a slight sensation breathing in the subtly boozy aroma filling the car, and he secretly felt a twinge of envy towards Chu Ge in the back.

Aside from envy, Ji Songtao mostly felt admiration.

Look at himself, just sitting there and already having so thoughts, while Chu Ge, sandwiched between two beauties from the Operation Managent Departnt, seed so composed.

Sigh, it really corroborates that saying: comparing oneself to others is self-destructive, comparing goods is just trashing them. And here I am, feeling so unaccomplished.

Whether it was because of the shock Young Master Jiang brought, or the awkwardness of their posture, nobody spoke as the cab traveled a good distance.

Until the cab took another turn, the silence was broken by Feifei's "ouch", and she gave Chu Ge a slightly reproachful look and laughed.

"Chu Ge, are your leg hairs made of iron? I'm wearing stockings, and they're hurting when they poke , so be careful, Xiaoran's legs are bare, don't hurt her delicate skin."

"Uh..."

Chu Ge was at a loss, was having hard leg hair his fault?

"Little handso guy, aren't you afraid of getting points deducted for speeding, going so fast?" Feifei, unable to stand the silence, rubbed her leg and addressed the young driver at the wheel.

"Oh, the traffic cops are off duty now, it's fine. Plus, I'm only going a bit over fifty mph, it's not fast."

"Fifty mph and not fast? We're in the city, how fast do you want to go?"

"With so few cars on the road tonight, this speed really isn't fast. Let tell you sothing, but don't get scared—just today, I saw with my own eyes a crazy guy on a skateboard zip right past and then race alongside a Ferrari!"

Upon hearing this, Feifei imdiately laughed, even Mo Xiaoran couldn't help but smile and glanced at Chu Ge; they both knew that obviously, the crazy guy wasn't far, far away but right there with them.

Hearing the laughter from the two girls in the back, the taxi driver thought they didn't believe him, so he quickly added, "I'm telling you, ladies, I'm serious. If you had seen the scene yourself, you wouldn't believe how fast that guy was. From my professional judgnt, conservatively speaking, it had to be at least seventy mph!"

Upon hearing "seventy mph," Feifei and Mo Xiaoran couldn't laugh anymore; they thought the speed they were at was fast enough, and now at fifty mph—what kind of notion was seventy mph?

Seemingly satisfied with Feifei and Mo Xiaoran's reaction, the taxi driver, not often having the chance to boast before two pretty passengers, had fully opened his chatterbox.

"Sounds scary, right? Scary is right! When I saw him catch up with a Ferrari on a skateboard, it blew my mind, but that wasn't the scariest part. Later on, that lunatic went and scared silly; guess what he did next?"

"What did he do?" Feifei quickly asked, while Mo Xiaoran and Ji Songtao also perked up their ears attentively.

The driver was about to keep going when Chu Ge cleared his throat, reminding him with a bit of helplessness, "Buddy, we've arrived at Roman Holiday."
