"Number Ten, what the hell are you doing?"

"Cut the crap! Put the gun down! Do you know how valuable the equipnt below is?"

"Screw you..."

"Number Ninety-Seven" snorted coldly, turning his gaze back to the Siberian tiger wreaking havoc, but before he could finish his curse, "Number Ten" swung his blade, and a pillar of blood shot into the sky, "Number Ninety-Seven" was decapitated!

"Everyone, put the guns down! Anyone who uses a gun will end up like him! These re beasts, grab your knives and kill them!"

"Number Ten" grabbed "Number Ninety-Seven's" head, blood splattering, as he shouted coldly at the gun-toting crowd. The surrounding n hesitated for a mont, then one of them, without hesitation, pulled the trigger at his head.

"Number Ten's" pupils contracted, and even when "Number Fifty-Four's" fingers made the slightest move, he felt his scalp tingle, instinctively trying desperately to dodge. But he was too close to "Number Fifty-Four," and the bullet tongues still poured into his head, blooming into bizarre blood flowers.

"I've put up with you for long enough! Scumbag!"

"Number Fifty-Four" snarled cruelly, glanced one last ti at "Number Ten's" corpse, then picked up his gun again, aiming at the roaring beasts below.

"Number Ten's" body swayed, as if expressing his unwillingness, but no matter how unwilling, he still fell limply. Until the mont of death, "Number Ten" never imagined "Number Fifty-Four" would shoot him.

Just as "Number Ninety-Seven" never thought "Number Ten" would chop off his head.

Similar events were happening around, even though these people were all Chu Chengrui's subordinates, they weren't a united front. Among them, so were friendly and others hostile, so were loyal to Chu Chengrui, while others were rely forced by the "Road to Hell" to serve him.

Furthermore, faced with this sudden enormous upheaval, everyone's life was hanging by a thread, and their nerves were as taut as over-strung bowstrings, unendurable to any stimulus.

An African lion leaped, knocking a guard flying, then followed through, biting the guard's throat in one strike, not even sparing him a glance before seeking its next target.

A chimpanzee picked up a submachine gun, seemingly wanting to use it as a dart, hurling it at a knife-wielding guard running over.

But by coincidence, its furry fingers accidentally touched the trigger, and with a loud bang, it screeched obnoxiously, while the guard ended up misfortunate, dying under the muzzle of the submachine gun, riddled with bloody holes.

The chimpanzee looked at the guard who died with eyes wide open, then at the smoking submachine gun on the ground, hesitated, and shook its long arms past its knees to cautiously pick the submachine gun back up.

Then... in the beast camp, there was an additional gun-wielding chimpanzee. Several other simian animals followed suit, picking up guns and mimicking it.

A few vultures flapped their wings like the black robes of the Grim Reaper, flying unnoticed into the sky, then suddenly dove from the side towards the gun-wielding guards. So had their eyes pecked out by the vultures' sharp beaks, while others had flesh torn from their necks by the vultures' sharp talons.

Bloody giant pythons slithered silently among the broken limbs, like cunning assassins. If any human passed by, they'd rcilessly attack, using their venomous fangs to bite, and their bodies, strong enough to strangle a buffalo, to constrict until bones crumbled and their enemy's cries ceased.

A grizzly bear charged, causing the ground to shake as if a minor earthquake was happening centered around it. It was like a tank, crushing any life daring to hinder it, its montum even more ferocious than the rampaging Siberian tiger.

Chaos erupted, utter chaos, within the vast S District, blood splattering everywhere, like the Asura Battlefield.

If this were before a profound change in Chu Ge's mind and body, such a scene would be a godsend for his escape plan. But now, perhaps it was just the icing on the cake.

Amidst the hail of bullets and the cries of despair, Chu Ge walked expressionlessly, leading the three people behind him ever closer to the storm's center. His two three-foot Tang knives dragged on the ground, emitting a continuous scraping sound as he moved forward.

Closer, ever closer.

As Chu Ge approached, whether it was the wild beasts running amok, the blood-stained guards, or those others with no escape and only desperate cries, they all felt a chill rising from their bones.

The previously deafening S District gradually quieted, the beasts seed to forget their biting and roaring, and the guards instinctively lowered their weapons.

The Siberian tiger was the first to sense Chu Ge's presence, slowly turned its massive head, and then lay on the ground facing Chu Ge's direction. Undoubtedly, this was the best chance to shoot the Siberian tiger, yet everyone seed srized, not a single person fired a shot at it.

After the Siberian tiger, a handful of previously gleeful gun-toting apes turned around and lay trembling on the ground, like ministers before their monarch, any extra movent indicating disrespect.

Birds of prey descended, and the African lion lowered its proud head.

An eerie calm spread, like ripples distorting through silence.

And in this unsettling calm, only two voices grew clearer.

There was the sound of a blade sliding across the ground, and another was a series of orderly footsteps.

Everyone instinctively looked in the direction the beasts were staring, from where those two sounds originated, and then all widened their eyes.

"Isn't that the experintal subject brought back by the boss?"

"Is it Number One, Number Two, Number Three? How are they following behind that experintal subject?"

"Where are Chu Chengrui and Chu Mu? Didn't they go to the Number One lab?"

"What... what is going on here?"

Each person harbored questions, yet no one spoke, and none made a move, as if transford into human statues, staring blankly as Chu Ge stepped out, step by step.

The footsteps felt as if they directly trod on their tightly clenched hearts, one step, another step, and yet another.

Chu Ge walked to the most prominent place in the area, and he slowly raised his head, though it was such a simple action, it made quite a few watching from the cross-bridge shiver upon seeing his eyes.

What kind of eyes were those!

Even from far away, they saw in those eyes a terror so profound it seed capable of devouring souls, leading them to involuntarily want to avert their gaze and avoid eting his eyes.

Yet, they found themselves unable to do so, as if bound by an invisible force, compelled to face those terrifying eyes, and then drawn into a black whirlpool.

The lower the number, the more sensitive the person, and the stronger the feeling beca, the oppressive sensation nearly suffocating them. Those in the "Nineties" and the researchers felt sowhat less pressure.

"Chu Chengrui and Chu Mu are already dead."

Chu Ge broke the silence, and his first sentence struck the surrounding crowd like a thunderbolt.

Under the overwhelming shock, several researchers loyal to Chu Chengrui instinctively shouted, "That's impossible!"

Hardly had their words landed when "Number Two" and "Number Three" behind Chu Ge drew pistols from holsters at their waists, raising their arms and without a glance fired the triggers.

In the extre silence, the gunshots were deafening.

Even though "Number Two" and "Number Three" hadn't aid, none of the shots missed the head, the whistling bullets pierced through the center of the eyebrows, leaving horrifying holes at the backs of those researchers' heads.

When the gunshots rang, many shivered, so people's eyes twitched slightly, and those numbered within the top ten furrowed their brows slightly.

In such a bizarre situation, others might not notice, but those in the top ten could clearly sense that "Number One," "Number Two," and "Number Three" now appeared quite different, as if they had completely beco three other people.

A few bodies fell, and Chu Ge's eyes didn't blink, as he uttered the second sentence.

"Does anyone still doubt?"

No one responded; sounds of swallowing saliva echoed from all directions.

"Since none of you have any questions, I'll say a few words."

"I know not everyone here is genuinely loyal to Chu Chengrui, but many of you have been injected with a drug called 'Road to Hell,' which makes you suffer intensely when it takes effect. Only Chu Chengrui had the analgesic formula, so you had no choice."

"Now, although he is dead, you don't need to worry, because soone else in the world knows the formula, and that is . After I handle so matters, I will give you this formula."

"Now, those who don't want to die can leave."

Chu Ge glanced at the obedient beasts, "Rest assured, as long as I'm here, these beasts won't harm you. So slaughter is aningless, so I hope you don't harm them either."

After speaking, Chu Ge silently stepped away.

Behind him were countless questioning glances and whispers.
