Appearing before Qin Ruoying was, first, a man cursing about sothing, around thirty years old, with short hair, dressed quite neatly, carrying a cara bag. From his grimacing expression, it was clear the stone she just kicked had hit him.

Next to this man was another man slightly older in age, with sowhat balding hair combed back, small eyes hidden behind round glasses, and a round belly that could compete with a six or seven-month pregnant woman.

However, what truly caught Qin Ruoying off guard was the young, pretty girl beside the two n, none other than the person they had been ntioning just monts ago, Su Haidong's sister, Su Xiao.

Qin Ruoying took another careful look, and indeed, it was the girl who resembled Nico Robin.

Instinctively, Qin Ruoying raised her hand, pointing at Su Xiao and said, "Hey? Aren't you…"

Before Qin Ruoying could finish, the equally startled Su Xiao hurriedly lowered her head and walked past them, headed towards the hotel.

A young, beautiful girl, with n, and it's two n going to a hotel, this… it's really hard not to make so associations…

Qin Ruoying looked back at Su Xiao's silhouette and was pondering when she heard a string of Japanese from behind.

Speaking was the man hit by the flying stone, "Miss, was that stone you kicked just now? Why wouldn't you say sorry to ?"

The other party said a whole bunch, none of which Qin Ruoying understood, so she could only turn her gaze to Chu Ge.

Chu Ge stepped up and said to the man, "Sorry, my friend didn't do it on purpose."

The short-haired man responded with a punitive expression, "What's with you? The apology should be from her directly to , right?"

"Alright, tolerance is the virtue of a gentleman, not to ntion the other party is a beautiful lady."

Watanabe Shinji waved his hand, interrupting the short-haired man, and smiled, nodding to Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying, his small eyes sparkling with delight. He then turned his gaze to Chu Ge.

"Sir, I am a talent scout. If your two friends are interested in pursuing careers in the film industry, I hope they can give a call. I have no doubt they will achieve great success. Here is my business card."

Watanabe Shinji took out a business card from his coat and handed it over to Chu Ge with both hands.

Chu Ge accepted the card and directly slipped it into his pocket without saying anything, nodded to Watanabe Shinji, then started walking.

"Hey! Kid! What's with your attitude?" The short-haired man's face was full of dissatisfaction, shouting at Chu Ge with a frown.

"Alright, let's focus on today's main task first." Watanabe Shinji waved his hand again, smiled at Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying, then proceeded towards the hotel entrance.

Qin Ruojing slightly nodded in acknowledgnt of Watanabe Shinji, while Qin Ruoying didn't even glance at him, instead quickly catching up to Chu Ge.

"Brother-in-law, that girl just now is Su Haidong's sister, those two Japanese n are old enough to be her uncle, and they checked into a hotel together, aren't you going to do sothing?"

Chu Ge shrugged, "Maybe they really are her uncles?"

Qin Ruoying was a bit anxious, grabbing Chu Ge's arm, "Brother-in-law, what are you talking about? It certainly doesn't look like that!"

Chu Ge smiled helplessly, "Just consider what I said a joke. Besides, even if they're going to do what you think they're going to do, what has it got to do with us?"

That's what Chu Ge said, and he indeed thought that way. He had no relation to Su Xiao, at most, just a passing acquaintance. Who she goes to the hotel with, or how many people, what does it have to do with him?

Qin Ruoying's face froze, holding Chu Ge's arm tighter, then indignantly said, "Brother-in-law, will you do sothing? If you won't, I will."

Qin Ruojing had also reached Chu Ge's side, slightly furrowing her eyebrows, "Xiaoying, your brother-in-law is right, you're not the girl's guardian. Whatever she does is her own business, why are you getting involved?"

Qin Ruoying was being stubborn this ti, looking at Chu Ge and Qin Ruojing with grievance and anger: "How can you guys act this way? We may not know her well, but she's such a lovely cabbage. If she was to be ruined by pigs, I can't stand it!"

Seeing Qin Ruoying so agitated, Chu Ge felt even more powerless and amused. Su Xiao might be a truly lovely cabbage, but she wasn't grown by Qin Ruoying, so why was she so anxious?

Chu Ge rembered when he first saw certain small films, he would always think, "Damn, this girl is so pretty, it's such a pity she went to film.

As ti passed, his thoughts on this matter unconsciously changed. Now, if he saw so pretty Japanese singer on TV or the internet, he might occasionally think, "Damn, this girl is so pretty, it's such a pity she doesn't go into film."

Besides, judging by the situation just now, those two n didn't exactly have a knife to Su Xiao's throat. If Su Xiao appeared at the front of this hotel with those two n, it was probably a consensual matter.

Su Xiao was willing to use her youthful beauty to exchange for sothing she deed worthwhile. If soone insisted on interfering, nine tis out of ten, it would result in an outco where everyone loses.

Even taking ten thousand steps back, even if Su Xiao was sohow coerced, without her actively seeking help, if they got involved now, it wouldn't be called brave righteousness; it would purely be a case of ddling in other people's business.

Previously, Mu Lingshan often did similar things. Unexpectedly, today Qin Ruoying was also struck by this inexplicable sense of justice, as if taking action in this matter was like saving soone from a dire situation, and doing nothing was akin to being utterly reprehensible.

As Chu Ge was thinking about this and was ready to coax Qin Ruoying and then continue to find a place to stay with the two sisters, he suddenly saw a taxi stopping nearby the hotel. With a "bang," the car door was pushed open, and a young man dashed out like the wind, quickly running towards the hotel.

This person couldn't be called an acquaintance, but Chu Ge and he had t once before. It was Su Xiao's brother, Su Haidong.

"Brother-in-law, look, isn't that the guy who went to the comic convention with us before, what's his na again?"

"Su Haidong."

"Yes, yes, that's him, let's wait and see."

Since Qin Ruoying said so, Chu Ge had no choice but to nod and stayed with the sisters about seven or eight ters away from the hotel, observing the situation inside.

While at the comic convention, Su Haidong was feeling conflicted, and after he finally left the convention, he felt even more troubled.

After all, he was still a big brother, always worrying about his younger sister. When he was back ho, he never heard his sister ntion anything bad about her situation here. Whenever he called or video chatted, she'd always say, "It's good."

Su Haidong had always been a conflicted person. He didn't know if his sister was genuinely doing well or if she was deliberately showing only the positive to avoid worrying the family. Ever since his sister went abroad, this matter had constantly nagged him.

He wanted to visit his sister multiple tis before, but traveling abroad was costly, and his parents' health wasn't great, so visiting his sister stayed at the "want" phase, dragging on until now.

If his parents hadn't had an accident, Su Haidong might have continued to delay this matter, but with them gone, his sibling beca his only true family in this world. He finally made the decision to travel overseas to be with his sister.

Only upon actually boarding the plane and arriving did he suddenly realize that the distance between him and his sister wasn't as insurmountable as he imagined. It only took a few hours to reach another country.

After leaving the comic store, Su Haidong still couldn't stop worrying about his sister, so he circled back to the vicinity of the store to quietly observe her situation.

If she went straight ho, that'd be best. If she went out with friends for dinner, he'd just wait nearby the restaurant.

Anyway, he had nothing else to do. Even if his actions seed a bit foolish, at least they allowed him to fulfill a little bit of his responsibility as her brother.

After waiting a long while, he finally saw his sister leave the comic store. What caught his attention was that she didn't go with any classmates or friends, nor did she return ho. Instead, she took a taxi alone.

Just as Su Haidong thought he lost track of her, feeling frustrated and concerned about where his sister was headed, a taxi conveniently passed by, alleviating his imdiate dilemma.

Despite his poor Japanese skills, through gestures and broken speech, the taxi driver understood his intention and followed the taxi that drove off with his sister.

Peering through the window, Su Haidong kept watching the taxi carrying his sister, his heart filled with unease.

When he tentatively called his sister, asking where she was and what she was doing, she said she was heading out for dinner with friends, which made him even more uneasy.

It was obvious that his sister was lying, but why was she doing so?

With such doubts and the resulting confusion, Su Haidong silently followed in the taxi until he saw his sister get out, walk together with two n. He was still comforting himself not to overthink it.

But when his sister and the two n reached the entrance of the hotel, he couldn't help but think beyond that.
