After waiting for twenty minutes he finally saw Maximilian, who had the sa na as him but was about to do sothing so heinous, and even from a distance he could tell it was him by the loud way he carried himself, by the careless swing of his arms as he walked, and this ti he was not with ten friends, instead it was just three with him, four in total, spreading out loosely across the path as they moved toward the dorm gate.

They were laughing and talking with each other as they approached the dorm gate, voices careless and loud in the quiet of the evening, not even glancing at the lone figure standing a few steps away from the entrance, their attention trapped inside their own circle as if nothing outside of it mattered, their posture sloppy, unaware of the still presence waiting for them.

He looks tiny.

Max assessed the friend group calmly, his gaze moving from one to the next without turning his head much, noting their height, their shoulder width, the way they placed their feet when they walked, whether their balance looked trained or careless, scanning for any real threat in their build or movent, and after a few seconds of silent evaluation he found none, his breathing even beneath the helt as he remained exactly where he was.

They entered the building compound, their laughter fading slightly as the gate closed behind them with a dull tal sound, and just before the entrance doors the three friends stopped, lingering near the steps as if this was as far as they were ant to go, their bodies turning casually toward each other while Maximilian continued forward alone without hesitation.

He walked straight to the keypad beside the door and pressed the password with easy familiarity, his fingers moving without pause, without doubt, the small beeps of the buttons sharp in the quiet evening air, and the door unlocked for him as if he belonged there, even though this was a girls-only dorm building.

" This bastard. "

Max muttered under his breath, his voice low and restrained, more observation than anger, and then he walked forward without changing his pace, his steps direct and asured as he approached the entrance, intending to follow Maximilian inside.

Before he could reach the door one of the three friends who had been loitering nearby stepped in front of him and placed a hand flat against Max’s chest, the gesture firm and deliberate, as if trying to establish dominance in front of the others.

" Don’t enter, this is a girls dormitory. "

The boy lifted his chin slightly as he said it, attempting to sound authoritative, though his palm pressed a little too stiffly against Max’s suit, the other two watching from a step behind, their attention sharpening now that there was confrontation in the air.

" Oh? But that motherfucker just entered. "

Max let out a short chuckle, low and controlled, not a shred of nervousness in his voice, a faint smile forming beneath the dark visor of his helt where they could not see his eyes, and though his body remained relaxed and unmoving.

The boy who had stopped him felt the shift in the air first, his own hand no longer as steady as before, the confidence in his posture thinning under the quiet pressure of the man standing in front of him.

" We are from Evo Angels. "

He said it while glancing sideways for support, eyes flicking toward his friends as if the na alone would give him weight, his chest puffed slightly, though the hand on Max’s chest did not press any harder, his voice louder than necessary in an attempt to sound bigger than he was.

Max moved first, there was no warning, no visible wind-up, just a sudden shift of weight through his hips and shoulders as his fist drove forward in a straight line, clean and direct, the impact heavy as it connected with the boy’s mouth.

*BAAM*

The sound dull and violent at the sa ti. The boy’s head snapped back instantly, three teeth flying out in a small arc before hitting the ground, blood spraying lightly across the pavent as foam and saliva followed, and he dropped before he could even scream, knees buckling, body collapsing flat with a lifeless thud, unconscious before he understood what happened.

The other two froze for a split second, shock locking their faces, their bravado gone the mont they saw how fast it ended.

" And I am Paolo Bronte’s man, stop and you’re dead. "

Max uttered the words evenly, not raising his voice, the black helt hiding his expression completely as he stood over the fallen body without looking down twice.

His breathing unchanged, deliberately using his enemy Paolo Bronte’s na to implicate that bastard instead, knowing his face was hidden anyway, and the weight of his size—six foot six, built like a super heavyweight MMA fighter—suddenly felt very real to the two boys still standing in front of him.

" B... Bronte? W... Why? Max’s dad is his right hand man. "

The words stumbled out of another boy’s mouth, fear replacing whatever confidence he had a mont ago, his eyes widening as he took a half step back, glancing at his fallen friend and then at the towering figure in front of him, the na clearly aning sothing far bigger than a street scuffle.

Max heard the information and for a split second he processed it, the connection unexpected but useful, a small shift in his thinking as he understood the weight behind it, and since the na had already been spoken and fear had already taken root, there was no turning back now.

" That is why. "

Max moved again without hesitation, two long strides closing the distance instantly, his height and reach swallowing the space between them before either boy could react, and his leg ca up with brutal precision, driving forward with full force into the first one’s thigh.

*BAAM* *CRACK*

The impact landed with a sickening crack, bone giving way under the sheer power behind it, the sound sharp and unnatural as the boy’s leg bent wrong and he collapsed sideways, a broken scream tearing out of him before his body hit the ground.

With Max’s modified body and the recent training layered into his muscles, carrying the full mory of Tom Aspinall’s movents and timing, Max could already draw nearly half of this body’s potential, and even that controlled output was overwhelming.

*BAAM*

The second kick ca faster than the eye could properly track, but this ti he held back just slightly, striking the other boy hard enough to send him crashing to the pavent, air exploding out of his lungs as he rolled and then went still, choosing to play unconscious rather than risk standing again.

" Paolo Bronte sends his regards. "

A cold and nacing voice ca from beneath the helt, deeper than before, stripped of warmth, deliberate and clear enough for the conscious one to hear, the one with the shattered thigh already fading into unconsciousness while the other lay rigid, pretending not to breathe too loudly.

[Unlock?]

[Yes/No]

As the interface appeared in his vision while he reached the dorm entrance, Max pressed [Yes] without slowing his steps, the lock clicking open smoothly under his god-tier locksmith ability, and without looking back at the bodies scattered near the gate, he entered the building and disappeared inside.
