Finn’s car slowed down and stopped in front of a huge dealership. It had taken them about twenty minutes to reach this area. Finn had been talking the whole way. Max learned that Finn’s mother was Munich’s Deputy Mayor for Public Safety.

"So, is she into the dical side?"

Hearing his mother was a politician, Max asked calmly. If she were more suitable for dealing with Bronte, he would consider eting her.

"No, she oversees the city police, fire departnt, and the licensing departnt."

Finn shook his head and parked the car in a parking lot filled with luxury cars. Max could see the Ducati dealership from here. Finn had parked at the back of the building. They had to walk the rest of the way on foot.

Max stepped out, still in his shorts. The sun was high and warm, enough for him to walk around like this until the evening. Once night fell, he would need heavier clothes. The air had already started turning colder these days.

Finn talked more about his family, which Max barely paid attention to, like how Finn had three sisters and an aunt who lived with them. Max didn’t find that information valuable. His goal was to buy a good motorbike and convince Mr. Muller, Finn’s father, to sit at the negotiation table. That way, Bronte wouldn’t be able to blackmail Jennifer again.

Max followed Finn, and soon a wide glass building stood in front of him. It looked clean and solid, more than a luxury showroom. Floor-to-ceiling windows reflected the sky and the street. Inside, rows of bikes were lined up neatly, and a few sat on small podiums, rotating slowly under bright lights.

A large DUCATI München sign hung above the entrance. A few small red flags moved with the wind, and a couple of banners were placed here and there. Nothing excessive, just simple Ducati branding. The pavent outside was spotless.

"Let’s go inside."

Finn smiled, walked ahead, and pushed open the glass door. Max followed along. He had researched a few bikes over the last few days after getting this mission. He already had one bike in mind. If he could find it here, he would take it. If not, he would just buy a sports one and get on with it.

"There’s my dad. DAD!!"

Finn pointed at a suited, middle-aged man seated inside a glass room, writing sothing on a paper. Seeing Finn, the man smiled. Max could tell the two of them had a very good relationship.

Finn took Max directly to his father’s office. It was simple, with a minimal design, but Max could tell a lot of thought had gone into it. Several employee desks were arranged just behind the glass walls of the office.

"Nice to et you, Mr. Muller."

Max extended his hand first. He was younger, and Mr. Muller was his friend’s father. Mr. Muller’s face carried a natural smile. Seeing Max, he stood up and shook his hand firmly.

"Call Linn. Nice to et you as well. Sit down, please."

Linn gestured for Max to sit, then asked them to wait. He signed the paper once, placed it neatly into a drawer, and finally looked up at Max and Finn, that sa steady smile still on his face.

"So, I heard you want to buy a bike. What can we do for you? Finn’s friends are always welco."

"I have a specific model in mind. I wonder if you have it available. If not, I will take whatever you suggest."

Max didn’t beat around the bush. Mr. Muller seed straightforward, and hearing that Max already had a model in mind, Linn’s eyes widened slightly.

"Oh? Tell . If we don’t have that specific one, I can import it from Italy for you."

"That’s very kind of you. The model I’m looking for is the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2."

"Hmm? That’s a very high-end model."

Linn heard the model na and leaned back in his chair, thinking for a mont. His eyes moved over Max from head to waist. Finn had been bullied since childhood, and a jacked friend like Max wasn’t anything new. Finn often tried to befriend strong people, but that strategy usually backfired. Most of them were only after money.

Almost fifty thousand euros for a bike. I don’t think Finn can really help with this... but what’s the catch? Let’s test him a little.

"I have that model available. It’s a very popular one around, so I can help you with that."

Linn nodded, his smile never leaving his face. Hearing the model was available, Max felt satisfied. The bike was nearly €50,000, which was already a lot for a motorcycle. He didn’t want or expect a rare model. Sure, it might help with the mission, but that would be too eye-catching.

"Do you take card for paynt?"

"Your card has that much credit limit?"

"Yeah. It’s a special card given to by my private banker. I sold a website in my final year of high school to an Arican company, so..."

"That makes sense. Yes, we take cards. You know what, Max, I like you. As Finn’s friend, I can offer you sothing exclusive. A rare piece of motorbike. It’s more costly. I wonder if you’re up for it."

Hearing that Max had sold a website, Linn tilted his head. He was more shocked that soone his son’s age had such a credit limit. His relaxed posture straightened. He leaned forward, looked directly into Max’s eyes, and made the offer.

Is he testing ? For what? If I get a better motorbike while he figures out whatever he wants, it’s a win-win. I get a better system reward, and he gets his answer.

Max’s eyes sharpened, a faint light of interest passing through them. Even Finn had rarely seen the usually stoic Max show this much reaction.

He didn’t even react when I ntioned my MILF aunt... now he’s like this? Is he really that crazy about motorbikes?

Finn watched Max and thought to himself while Max gave a small nod.

"Yes, Mr. Linn, surely. I am up for it. Tell the model you have and na your price."

Seeing Max’s steady but interested expression, Linn narrowed his eyes, though his smile didn’t fade. He suspected his son might have given Max money, but buying this bike wasn’t possible even for Finn.

"It’s a Ducati Superleggera V4. Mint condition. I imported it for a friend of mine. Only 500 pieces in the world, and I got number 003."

Max, hearing this, raised an eyebrow. Although he had researched Ducati bikes, this one was unexpected. He hadn’t thought he would find a rare bike here, and just the na alone sounded like a collector’s item.

"It’s not a normal production model. Full carbon fiber body, lighter fra, around 150 kilos dry weight. Over 230 horsepower. Track-focused. Ducati barely makes these for the public."

Seeing Max a little confused, Linn smiled and continued calmly. He tapped the desk lightly and looked at Max, slipping into a more professional tone.

"Only 500 units worldwide. Most owners never even ride them. They keep them locked away. This one is basically new, almost zero kiloters. Straight from the crate."

"Dad, he gets it. Max, this is a crazy bike. If you have the money, you’ll get a lot of chicks to clap, if you buy this. And my dad won’t overprice you, right, Dad?"
