Han ng was not articulate and kept thanking the two of them incessantly, "I really appreciate it a lot."

"Big brother, big sister, please have a seat," Han Qiaoer brought them stools.

Qin Hao patted her head and said, "Very good."

Curious, Han Qiaoer asked, "Big brother, what do you do? You are so aweso."

Qin Hao,"Big brother is in university and owns a company, you also need to study hard, and when you grow up, be like big brother."

"Yes, I'll listen to big brother," Han Qiaoer responded.

Han ng watched them chatting, a look of relief on her face, but a hint of sadness flickered deep in her eyes.

They conversed for a while, and aside from thanking them, Han ng didn't know what else to say, so she just listened to her daughter and Qin Hao talking.

After a while, the special care staff, noticing that Han ng had fallen asleep, spoke up, "The patient is still very weak and needs to rest."

Qin Hao said apologetically with a smile, "Qiao'er, we'll leave for today then, not to disturb your mom's rest."

Grabbing his hand, Han Qiaoer pleaded, "Big brother, could you stay and talk with a little longer? Can we talk outside?"

Seeing her pleading eyes, Qin Hao nodded, "Okay, but let's keep our voices down so we don't wake your mom."

They left the ward and sat on chairs not far down the hallway.

Han Qiaoer hesitated then asked, "Big brother, can I work at your company?"

Qin Hao and Zhao Qian looked startled, exchanging glances.

In haste, Han Qiaoer said, "Big brother, I can clean, cook, and even do laundry. I want to earn money."

Qin Hao said with a smile, "Didn't big brother tell you? Don't worry about money. After you grow up and graduate, then you can earn money and pay big brother back."

Han Qiaoer bowed her head and said nothing.

Qin Hao took out so money, about a few thousand yuan, "Take this money and spend it. If it's not enough, just tell big brother."

Han Qiaoer, "Big brother, I don't want it, I already owe you so much."

Qin Hao said with a smile, "It's okay, take it. When mom gets better, you both can earn money and pay big brother back.

Today big brother didn't buy anything for you, I see there's a mall below, let's go have a look."

Qin Hao rembered that the first ti he saw Han Qiaoer, she was wearing the sa clothes.

He planned to buy her so clothes and shoes.

The two took Han Qiaoer to a large shopping mall next to the hospital.

Zhao Qian picked out several outfits for her and then bought so snacks and nutritional products.

After shopping, Zhao Qian took her to a nearby hair salon for a haircut.

In this respect, Qin Hao was not as ticulous as a woman; Zhao Qian thought everything through very thoroughly.

Coming out of the hair salon, Han Qiaoer, now in new clothes, seed like a different person.

Zhao Qian complinted her, "Qiao'er, you look so beautiful, you're going to grow up to be a big beauty just like your mom."

Han Qiaoer was equally sweet, "Sister, you're the most beautiful, and big brother is very handso too."

On the way back to the hospital, Zhao Qian received a phone call from her brother, then she spoke briefly to Qin Hao and hurriedly left.

Curiously, Han Qiaoer asked, "Big brother, where is sister going?"

"She probably has sothing to handle," Qin Hao vaguely heard sothing about a fight.

Moreover, Zhao Qian left in a hurry, it must have been sothing serious.

...

By the ti Qin Hao and she returned to the hospital, it was a little past three in the afternoon.

Qiao'er carefully entered the ward with the clothes and items.

Han ng had already woken up, and seeing the items in Han Qiaoer's hand, she asked curiously, "What are these?"

"These are clothes Big Brother and Big Sister bought for , and also so nutritional supplents for mom," Han Qiaoer replied softly as she put the items down.

Han ng turned her head toward Qin Hao, her eyes filled with gratitude, "Thank you, Mr. Qin."

Qin Hao replied, "You're too polite. Qiao'er is such a likable girl, eting her in this huge world must be fate."

Qiao'er giggled, feeling very fortunate to have t such kind and caring elder siblings.

Han ng spoke up, "Qiao'er, go wash so red fruits for Mr. Qin."

"Oh, alright mom." Qiao'er took so red fruits and left the hospital room.

Only Han ng and Qin Hao were left in the hospital room.

Han ng looked at Qin Hao and said, "Mr. Qin, please take a seat, there's sothing I would like to discuss with you."

Qin Hao sat down on a chair nearby, looking at her curiously.

Before Han ng could speak, tears began to fall pitter-patter.

Seeing this, Qin Hao hastily asked, "Older sister, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell? Should I call a doctor?"

Han ng shook her head, "Mr. Qin, the doctor has said my legs are very unlikely to recover. I'll have to spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair.

My biggest concern is Qiao'er. I beg you, could you please take care of Qiao'er for ? In my next life, I would repay your great kindness, even if it ans I have to be a labourer or a beast of burden."

Upon hearing her words, Qin Hao's expression froze, and he instantly understood what Han ng ant.

She was entrusting her child to him.

She and her daughter were alone and helpless in Jianghai, without a ho or inco, and now she was paralyzed, unable to take care of Qiao'er.

Han ng had made this decision out of sheer necessity, forced by her dire circumstances.

Seeing that Qin Hao remained silent, she pleaded with a sorrowful voice, "Mr. Qin, I beg you, I know this is a lot to ask, but I really have no other choice. Please pity Qiao'er and take her in."

Qin Hao replied sternly, "By abandoning Qiao'er like this, do you think it's fair to her?

What if she wants to find her mother later? What if she finds out you committed suicide for her sake? Do you think she would live a happy life? She would probably live with guilt all her life.

I'll figure out a way for your legs, guaranteed to get you fully healed, so don't ever speak of this again."

Han ng, slightly intimidated by his stern tone, murmured a soft "Okay."

Qin Hao continued, "Your legs are not a big issue, I am sure I can cure you, so don't worry about it.

Just focus on getting better for now. Qiao'er needs you, and she can't be without you."

Hearing about Qiao'er, Han ng's eyes imdiately reddened, tears swirling in her eyes, "Okay."

Qin Hao, seeing her tear up so often, felt a complex emotion stirring within him.

Fortunately, at that mont, Han Qiaoer ca back. She handed Qin Hao a big red fruit, "Big Brother, have a red fruit."

Qin Hao took a bite, "You have one too, they're quite tasty."

Han Qiaoer also ate one, while Han ng, still unwell, couldn't eat these things.

After finishing the red fruits, Qin Hao said, "Qiao'er, Big Brother has to leave today, but I'll co to see you again soon. If you need anything, rember to give a call."

"Okay, take care, Big Brother," Han Qiaoer said as she walked him to the elevator, her eyes a bit reluctant to let him go.

Qin Hao said, "Go back, take good care of your mom."

It was only after the elevator doors closed that Han Qiaoer turned back.

Leaving the elevator, Qin Hao walked toward the exit of the hospital building.

Before he could leave, he saw Zhao Qian supporting Zhao Han, who was clutching his head, his clothes stained red with blood.
