When he checked the ti, it was already 7:30 AM, the ti He Qianhui usually went to work.

Hearing so noise coming from the bathroom, Zhang Hao leaned on the wall and made his way to the bathroom door.

Seeing that He Qianhui was washing up, he finally let go of the worry he had been holding onto.

Through the mirror, Qianhui saw Zhang Hao. She had been trying to be as quiet as possible, not wanting to wake him, so he could sleep a little longer.

She hadn’t expected that he would wake up just as she started to get ready.

"Why are you up? Don’t you want to sleep a bit longer?" Qianhui said after finishing.

But Zhang Hao sprang up and ca in front of her, hugging her without saying a word.

Seeing his unusual response, Qianhui was also surprised, "What are you doing? Did you have another dream this early in the morning?"

Zhang Hao didn’t speak, just held on to He Qianhui tightly.

After about three to five minutes, he finally let go, and Qianhui held her face and asked him, "What sort of nightmare did you have that you had to find as soon as you woke up? What if I hadn’t been ho, what would you have done then?"

"If you weren’t ho, I would have called you, and if you were, then I could only co over and hug you. You have no idea what kind of dream I just had; it scared to death."

If it weren’t for Zhang Hao’s unusual behavior, Qianhui wouldn’t have been curious about his dream.

Like the strange dreams she had before, she never ntioned them to Zhang Hao, afraid that talking about them would trigger sothing in him.

Who knows what unexpected things could happen, so little secrets are best kept to oneself.

"You have no idea what I just dreamt. I dreamt that you ran off with soone else during our wedding ceremony, that you ran off with them."

"When I woke up and found you weren’t in bed, my entire back was soaked with sweat. Thankfully, I heard so noise from the bathroom."

"I hurried over leaning on the wall to see, and thankfully it was just a dream. If it had been real, I would be crying right now."

Qianhui reached out and touched the corner of Zhang Hao’s eyes and laughed, "n don’t easily shed tears. If I really ran off with another man, would you be that heartbroken?"

"Isn’t that obvious?" he retorted. "If my wife ran off with soone else, would I not be heartbroken? It’s not like I’d be celebrating, with music and banners flying."

After a simple breakfast, Qianhui left in a hurry for work.

Left alone at ho, Zhang Hao was bored, and since his leg hadn’t fully recovered, he didn’t dare to walk for long periods.

By noon, he ordered a simple takeout, and while he was halfway through his al, the supervisor arrived.

With the previous day’s experience in mind, Zhang Hao repeatedly insisted that his hospital appointnt should not fall into the hands of scalpers.

Although he didn’t know how Xia Xin managed to buy his appointnt from a scalper, such actions could adversely affect other patients’ access to dical care.

The hospital had tried many thods to curb the scalpers.

Either increase the number of the doctor’s appointnts or offer them without limits within a certain ti fra.

Only when the doctor’s appointnts aren’t that precious will the scalpers lose interest.

Once there’s a limit, once they’re sold out, they’re gone, and naturally, the price goes up due to the high demand.

"It’s a difficult situation. Now you’re the most famous doctor in our hospital," the supervisor said.

"Anyone who cos for traditional dicine is looking for you, but the problem is, right now you can only see ten to fifteen patients a day. anwhile, the number of patients outside far exceeds that. We just hope your leg heals quickly."

In truth, even working just a half-day wasn’t easy for Mr. Zhang.

Throughout half the day, he sat immobile in his chair like a statue.

Sotis he was so parched, he couldn’t even drink water, sparing himself a trip to the bathroom by drinking less.

The ti saved could possibly allow him to see one more patient.

The leadership, seeing Zhang Hao eating takeout alone at ho, couldn’t help feeling a tinge of sadness.

"You’re a patient yourself now, how can you eat such simple als? I heard your girlfriend found you a live-in housekeeper, didn’t she co today?"

Zhang Hao shrugged, "The housekeeper had so personal matters to deal with and took the day off. Qianhui had work today as well, so she didn’t have ti to take care of . I’ve already had the cast removed."

"I only need to wear this protective brace for a short ti before I can take it off, and when it cos to eating, all I need is to fill my stomach."

When it was about ti to go, the leadership helped Zhang Hao out the door.

No sooner had Zhang Hao arrived at the hospital than a patient clung to his legs, pleading desperately, even before he could put on his white coat.

"Mr. Zhang, Mr. Zhang, please, you must save my son. If anything happens to him, I, as his mother, wouldn’t want to live. I can’t bear the thought of a mother sending off her child."

Seeing how miserably the woman was crying, Yu rushed over to help, not because the scene overwheld her.

But because the leadership had given special instructions to intervene with emotionally distressed patients or their relatives.

Her primary duty was to keep these people away from Zhang Hao. If it was a minor issue, fine,

but if any of these patients or their relatives harbored antisocial thoughts, Zhang Hao’s safety couldn’t be guaranteed.

If his safety were compromised, Zhang Hao’s family would undoubtedly co to the hospital to demand an explanation.

In that case, neither side would co out looking good.

Yu helped the patient’s relative to her feet and softly consoled, "Take your ti and tell us what’s going on. The doctors are all here and they’ll definitely find a way to help you."

With tears wiped away by the back of her hand, the woman sobbed, "My son is fifteen years old this year and sohow, by so stroke of fate..."

"He’s been exposed to things not ant for soone his age, and imitating characters from movies, which has led to him being unresponsive now."

Upon hearing this description of the condition, Zhang Hao had a good idea of what had happened to Zheng woman’s child.

Once the woman’s husband arrived with their child, Zhang Hao quickly took him to a side room for examination.

He also made sure to close the door to ensure no one could barge in during the child’s examination.

After having the boy take off his pants, Zhang Hao felt his vital area and applied so mild stimulation,

confirming that the child’s reactions in that regard weren’t normal.

Zhang Hao quickly ordered so tests and instructed the boy’s mother to take him to get them done.

If the test results showed the boy’s unresponsiveness was due to a dical issue, there might be a cure if treated appropriately.

While he was still young, there was ti to address it, but if it was caused by other reasons, they’d have to consider other solutions.

As soon as the boy left, a wave of dismay washed over the departnt.

"Nowadays, even such young kids have access to movies that aren’t child-appropriate. I rember I didn’t find a way to watch those kinds of movies until after I graduated from college."

"I won’t lie to you guys, at your age, I used to sneak a look at my parents’ discs. It scared the first ti I saw them."

"The TV screen was filled with nothing but bodies, and I rember standing in front of the TV counting how many buttocks there were."
