“I am pregnant,” redith said between her tears when she finally managed to talk to Emt alone. She covered her face with her hands, as she was powerless to stop the surge of emotions that hit her hard.
“What!?” Emt was shocked, he didn’t expect to hear such news early this morning.
redith had been asking to et him for the past two days, but he didn’t feel like he wanted to see her. Sothing happened to him and this was happening very slowly, but surely. He lost interest in her.
Ever since Emt marked Zuri, he lost the bond between himself and redith. There was nothing left, since the feelings that he had for her were never from love. It was infatuation and it was gone along with the bond between them.
He didn’t know how to explain this...
“What should I do?” redith cried in her hands, her voice was shaking, she was afraid that soone would find out about this. As a shifter, they would sense her change even without her telling them.
Emt scratched his head in frustration. He didn’t want redith anymore, but since he couldn’t touch Zuri, he still could use her, yet she was pregnant with his child now, it would be a different story.
“I will think about it,” Emt said and then patted redith’s shoulder. There was no consolation or even a hug to calm her down, as if he just wanted to touch her only on his terms. “Now, you can go, we don’t want anyone to see us here.”
redith lifted her head and looked at Emt in disbelief when she heard that, she just told him that she was carrying their child, but he responded to her so coldly.

Seeing redith’s reaction, Emt shook his head and then added. “You will be in danger if my father finds out about this, so does our child.” He tried to convince him. “Go now, I will co to you with a solution.”
For a mont, redith didn’t budge, but then she wiped her tears and nodded obediently. This was one thing that Emt liked about her, because she obeyed his every word, it suited well with his ego, as the future Alpha. He wanted control.
After that, redith walked away from that room, but little did she know, there was soone else that erged from behind the cabinet after she was out of sight.
“So, she is pregnant now...” Alpha Xerxes said in a low voice, he sauntered the room leisurely from the spot where he had been listening to the conversation between them.
“Father?!” Emt’s face turned pale when he saw his father, he was aghast. His eyes filled with horror to realize what his father had heard from the conversation between him and redith.
“No need to be surprised,” he said and tilted his head. “You just need to focus on getting an heir from your mate. I want a white little pup from her.” He chuckled delightfully, as if he just told him the funniest thing in his entire life.
“What?” Emt was dreadful to learn what his father wanted. “Don’t you think it’s too fast? Zuri is not easy to handle.”
However, Alpha Xerxes simply shrugged his shoulders, his eyes were very calm, like a river. “It’s not necessary to handle her, she will beg for you to do it.”
At this rate, Emt didn’t know whether they were on the sa page or not, because the last ti he confronted Zuri, she was about to kill him, just because he didn’t want to leave when she needed to change her clothes, let alone touch her naked.
“Father, I don’t think you understand this...”
“Tomorrow night is the first waning crescent phase of the moon,” he said simply. “This will be the first waning crescent phase of the moon since you marked her.”
Emt tried to discern this information, as he watched his father walk out of the room, while saying sothing with underlying aning before he closed the door behind him.
“I am sure you are aware of what that ans.” He winked at his son and disappeared.
Of course, Emt knew what that ant.

That was what would happen when you were marked without your consent, the mark would heal at a stagnant pace, or maybe it wouldn’t heal, so it would look like she had just been attacked by a wild animal.
Zuri didn’t really care about how she looked right now.

Adel grimaced when she spoke again, as she held Zuri’s hands in hers tightly. “Will you allow him to touch you? Will you?”
